2 rooms on ground floor level in a peaceful district
About Jacqueline Genaudeau
Retired, former Secours Catholique secretary during 24 years; my partner works at an accommodation centre for men. I love travelling and learning from other cultures. I do some watercolour painting...
Why Jacqueline Genaudeau chose Saint-Louis
The apartment that I rent is my home. My partner purchased his apartment and for financial reasons we have decided to rent my apartment as a holiday house for tourists, family, and friends when they wish to visit us.
What makes this Apartment unique
Our location at the historic Versailles is an evident attraction. Located on the ground floor, on the street but a space lined with laurels separate it from the pedestrian's pathway, it is in front of a city house with garden. It has free and green view. It was built in 1963, so the apartment is modern. I have furnished it modestly but I also decorated tastefully (big mirror that spreads light and reflects a red wall where I put some artists' paintings). Having signed the agreement named Charte-Environnement, my apartment is enjoyed by environment-sensible persons and eco-citizens.

Great apartment right in Versailles!
This is a cozy apartment right in the heart of Versailles. Jacqueline is very nice and will show you everything you need to know. I highly recommend staying here.
A lovely stay in a charming apartment
This apartment has everything needed for a vacation or an extended stay. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up staying longer. Great neighborhood, close to everything including the chateau, restaurants, the market place, and two major train stations. Perfect for a couple or a small family.
Ce fut un plaisir de vous recevoir et j'espère vous revoir l'an prochain. Bon retour en Californie.
Charming little place for two with lively hostess
Despite the language barrier all went well and we lived Versailles and this nice place
I enjoyed Doug and Connie, warm and cheerful
Wonderful apartment in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Owner is very accommodating. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Versailles chateau RER stop, but there is a bus if you prefer. The apartment has everything you would need for a nice stay. The kitchen is small but well equipped. There are only two things that I would have preferred differently. They are that the TV would be in the living room instead of the bedroom and that there was a more comfortable sofa/futon in the living room. Neither of these are a big deal. I just prefer arms on my sofas for comfort. The windows keep the apartment comfortable in warmer weather and have locks that can keep the apartment secure while still letting in air.
I highly recommend this rental for a nice place to stay close to Paris but more relaxing.
Roomy, homey, quiet and secure. The tea kettle is fast. I slept well in the bed. Jacqueline was an inspired hostess. She met us on the way, waited while we finished our lunch and escorted us to the apartment. Her English is limited but don't let that worry you. We just used google translate for the tough stuff, tried French and mimed the rest. We left flowers for her and you can continue the tradition si vou voulez. Bring your own soap if you mind using the last renters'.
