It was in hayfield, nothing to do. Cabin not clean, dust bunnies under bed, used wa cloth in bathn s
It was ok, we had it to ourselves, no one else out there which beats campgrounds. But on other hand had to drive several miles to any attractions. Cabin itself is in hayfield, yard had been mowed, but clumps of grass left in yard, and not weed eated. Floor not clean, dust bunnies and dirt under bed, used wash cloth left in shower. On good side, a/c was cool, had a convection oven and a microwave and fridge and hot water in shower and kitchen. Had a hot plate, but did not work. But we had privacy. Would not rent it again.
Cozy Little Cabin
My husband, my two Sons, and myself spent the weekend in this cabin and we all enjoyed our stay. The owner was more than accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed the visit. We loved the rolling hills of the land as much as the quietness of the property.
We a quiet Peaceful stay. Enjoyed the scenery loved sitting on the porch including the visit from Bruce. We are pet friendly people. Thanks
Perfect for my stay!
Had all I needed and was very close to where I needed to be!
Perfect short stay for my family of 4. The cabin is very small, but it has everything you need. We cooked in the grill in the evening and made french toast, eggs, and pancakes for breakfast with some shifting of things for counter space. We used the fire pit for s'mores and watched the wide open sky seeing shooting stars and finding constellations. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure and shower felt great after days of hiking and kayaking at fall creek falls and a day at cumberland caverns. The only thing I can think to change is adding a Wi-Fi solution to the coke cabin. Kathy was great, and we would suggest a stay to anyone!
I must say that the property and location was beyond beautiful. And would definitely love to stay again for that simple fact. The shower was AMAZING water pressure through the roof. It could use a serious deep cleaning... we left it cleaner than we found it for sure with dead bugs in light fixtures and quite a few on the floor, and maybe a new set of bed sheets that don’t have odd stains on them (they smelled cleaned! Just a little unsettling to see the stains) overall if you’re looking for a private quite getaway by yourself or with someone you love. I’d highly recommend it. The owner Kathy was incredibly sweet and did her best to try and make sure we had everything we needed. Only giving 4/5 Because we had to clean it. But don’t let a little bit of sweeping up stop you from staying in a wonderful location. It was between all the major state parks, we had a blast. Would definitely book again if we were in the area.
Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls and Cumberland Caverns are all wonderful attractions in the area.
