There is a fully stocked kitchen with a crockpot included. Full size washer and dryer. A deck runs along the entire back of the home which overlooks Cherry Creek. There is a charcoal grill. We also have a fire pit (wood is located in the shed) and covered parking area for two but plenty of other places to park as well. If you follow the path down past the old chicken coop to the right of the house, you will be able to enjoy our small waterfalls.

Traveling with my best friend of 40 years to a garden party in Sparta, we hoped to find a comfortable place to rest for the night and enjoy morning coffee with serene views while reminiscing about our families and life in general. This place was perfect. Comfortable, quiet surroundings, and the property was lovely. Our hostess, Dawn was terrific replying to any questions I had.Thank you for a lovely stay.

The house was a perfect country setting . Exactly the quiet time away from noise that I needed . The view from the kitchen was a beautiful overlook of a crystal clear river that could definitely be used to swim in on a hot summer day . Gorgeous property! Would definitely recommend and go back .

Only downside was it turned very cold and snowed and we were not able to use the fireplace. It needed to be cleaned and inspected ( which is understandable) The owner is super nice, communication was excellent.

Home was very clean, nicely decorated, and close to Sparta and Cookeville. Plenty of room for two, and although very cold the night we arrived, the host had the home warm and toasty when we arrived, and it was welcomed. Everything you need and quiet. We had planned to leave a day earlier but after seeing the sights we wanted to explore a little more. Messaged the host through the site and she sent a form for the additional night at the price when rented. Very good communication with the host. Beautiful home and area. Picture provided were accurate

Wonderful Stay!

The creek, home, and quiet location were perfect for a long weekend adventure! We explored breweries, wineries, and waterfalls in the area. It was always nice to come back to the peace and play some games or relax on the deck next to the creek.

2nd time at this wonderful place. Dawn, the host was amazing. We were thrilled to get the confirmation. Redbud Acres is a delightful place that really does allow you to experience the local natural history and scenery. The facility is equipped well and the deck, overlooking Cherry Creek, is a wonderful place to have an afternoon beverage and truly relax. If I am in the vicinity, I am staying again.

This house was located conveniently to many of the parks with waterfalls! We loved how quiet it was out at the property. It was so peaceful having our coffee either on the front porch rocking chairs or on the back porch overlooking the creek. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to stay. The house, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all very clean! Communication from the hosts was very fast and they were very easy to communicate with.. We didn't have any issues at all and enjoyed our stay immensely!

About the host

Hosted by Dawn Morrison

Why they chose this property

Our property is the perfect place to get away from the hustle of life. The quietness, the wildlife and peace at our property will rejuvenate you. At any given time you will see deer, foxes, eagles, turkeys and of course there is cattle adjacent to our property. The fence on the side of the property with the cattle is an electric fence. Please don't touch.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the covered back deck as you watch the creek flow. It's always a good 20 degrees cooler on the deck. There is plenty of wood in the shed to use for the fire pit or if it's raining, sit on the front porch and listen to the waterfalls while the rain hits the metal roof.
