Our home neighbors the famous Jester King Brewery. We are less than 5 minutes from several wineries, breweries, and wedding venues on our road.

Access

Guests have full access to the house, guest house (if booked as well- may be booked separately please ask) , pool and trails surround the property.

Interaction

I send check in instructions and door codes on check in day. I like to give my guests privacy but i am never far away if i'm needed.

Cute, quiet getaway

We had a great time, it’s a cute & quiet spot. We really enjoyed the hot tub and gorgeous sunsets. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

We had a fantastic trip to Austin. This house is suitable for big groups, and we had a great time. Everything we needed was on site. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful get away with friends

Me and some coworkers booked this place just to hangout and get away together. It was so wonderful, very clean and so nice and relaxing at this place. Hopefully will be able to go back again for our next get away :) will be suggesting this place to anyone I know looking for somewhere to get out and enjoy some away time!

Great Spot

Rented this for a lowkey bachelorette weekend, and we loved the house. The pool and hot tub are a huge plus, and you’re still within 30 minutes of downtown Austin. One bathroom is definitely tricky, but otherwise, we had a great stay.

GREAT TIME AND GREAT PLACE

this property was so amazing secluded and easy to find. A short distance from a few places to eat and have some fun!!! the HOT TUB was great and well lit up.. OVERALL I would come back and stay again and again. We are looking to plan another trip already.

A beautiful relaxing place with enough room for everyone!

Had a girls staycation to celebrate a birthday. This place was charming and had everything necessary to make dinners or hang out by the pool. The hot tub worked great. It was such a nice relaxing oasis. Valerie was very flexible and responsive. Also the house has a traditional hacienda layout, so if you have multiple groups that might need their own space, it’s perfect. Would recommend to all!

Great Property and very responsive host

We had a great time at the mansion. We had a very big group and the house had multiple kitchens which made it very convenient for us.. We were minutes from the eateries and breweries which was super cool.. Uber took just a few minutes to get us as well. Great stay, I would highly recommend Valerie and the mansion to anyone looking for a high end experience

Girls Weekend Away

With my friends and I going crazy in quarantine due to COVID we needed to get away, this was a perfect location. The location is remote enough for us to stay in the hot tub and laugh all night but close enough to stores that when we needed something it only took us 10 minutes. It was exactly what we needed.

Beautiful Secluded Paradise

The house was beautiful. Had so many amenities from the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. If you plan on making a fire you should definitely bring lighter fluid or something but there are plenty of sticks you can find around the property. The sky was so beautiful when the sunset. I would love to stay here again. Valerie was a great host!

Great stay in Casita Hideaway

We arrived at the 'casita' and immediately were drawn to the pool. If you are looking for a relaxing/comfortable place to stay within Austin, this is your place. Loved being in the hills, away from the hustle and bustle. Great for short day trips and coming back to enjoy the outside pool and jacuzzi. Great for families with children. Would have loved an extra bathroom, but managed ok with one. Water pressure was a problem at times, but Valerie was very attentive and responsive and problem was resolved quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway location

Had a great couple of days enjoying this property. Couldn't ask for more. Spent alot of time in pool and hottub. Had a minor issue with the water, notified the host and we were promptly taken care of. What more could you ask for. Took alot of pics and posted them on FB. Now we have several friends requesting info on the property. Property is just as described and is worth the money. We will definitely be back if we come to Austin again.

Perfect family spot

My older teen/young adult children and I came to relax by the pool, and also experience some attractions in the City. This was the perfect spot! It was close enough to not spend a lot of time in the car, was near grocery and restaurants. We visited Pedernales Falls Park, UT Austin, ate at Metcalf BBQ (nearby at Graceland) among other attractions. After, we came “home” to splash in the pool, relax in the jacuzzi, and read a book on the shady porch. The casita is semi secluded and visited regularly by birds, deer and lizards. The beds are very comfortable and we had pretty much everything we needed to make it a great home base. I loved cruising along Fitzhugh road and seeing longhorn, horses and even a camel at the hobby ranches along the way. This was a great spot to relax.

Great location, nice pool

We had a great week at the casita and really enjoyed the pool, the corn hole game, and mornings sipping coffee on the porch. The location is great, with everything about 20 minutes away. You feel out there, but still close enough to venture out for BBQ, mini golf, or hanging out downtown. The wifi had issues while we were there and the property management is very responsive! It was an area wide outage. Before it went down, it was a bit spotty making video calls not possible. Plan to completely check out of work! Also, we arrived on Sunday and the pool and hot tub were dirty/cloudy with trash all over, but luckily the pool lady came the next day and had us swimming by the afternoon. Also, if you're lay-by-the-pool guy or gal - be warned the lounge chairs on the patio are NOT the ones in the photos. They were these rocker things that required zen-like balance to lay on (which I didn't have! LOL!) All in, a great stay, a very clean home, and lots of great family memories. Thanks for having us!
