This is a 2 bedroom home with a full bath attached to the master and a half bath adjoined to the secondary bedroom. The home is located 11 miles from downtown and the Hot Springs, and located on a one acre lot with too many pine trees to count. The home sits up on a hill and you have a great high up view of 160 from the back deck. Deer like to bed on the hill behind the house. Fenced yard for pets. And great hilly neighborhood for walks. Covered garage---No need to clean the snow off your car. Comfortable memory foam mattresses brand new. Nice big bathroom with tub. Home is heated by propane wall heater. Easy to use and still has a flame for ambiance. Brand new stainless steel refrigerator and wonderful gas stove for a nice cooking experience. The house has an open layout with the kitchen and living area connected, great for hanging out. As you recline in the lazy boy sofa, you can chat with whoever is cooking in the kitchen or just stare out the windows and admire those beautiful pines (or both). 32" Smart T.V. in the home with Direct TV . The secondary bedroom is separated from the rest of the house by an exterior door for extra privacy. Property Quirks: This home is located in Aspen Springs. We haul water to the property, it doesn't come from the ground, so, conservation is important. The kitchen and bath have 2 separate water heaters, which is nice because someone can wash dishes or use the water in the secondary bath without affecting the shower temp or pressure However, there is only a 12 gallon water heater tank, not sufficient for a long soak, but definitely enough to take a lovely-hot-enjoyable shower after being out in the cold all day. Depending on snow conditions, getting up the hill can be a challenge for non AWD/4X4 vehicles. This is a serene cabin that is very simple and uncluttered and ready to rest your mind and soul.

I love living in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The beauty to be seen here is amazing. I enjoy being outdoors. I love animals and gardening. I enjoy learning about self-sufficiency, love to hike and play in the river.
Why Stephanie chose Aspen Springs
This property is great to unwind and relax. The property is serene. There are so many beautiful pine trees on the acre to stare at and melt your stresses. The dogs will also enjoy the fenced yard.

PagosaSprings is great!
This property was EXACTLY as advertised! Stephanie is VERY quick to respond if needed! We stayed an extra week! You cannot beat the price. There's a nice fenced area for our 4 dogs and lots of privacy for us. Would definitely come back!
Thank you so much for your positive comments. I am so glad that you found the cabin to be a doggy and people haven. Pagosa is an incredible place. Hope you guys return.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was exactly as stated and we had the most relaxing week. The rental is actually really big on the inside and it has everything you'll need during your stay. The fridge is large, the kitchen is stocked and bedrooms are large (so are the baths). Stephanie is very helpful if you have questions before or during your stay. We were worried about the water conservation thing but it wasn't a problem for us at all. As others have said, 4x4 would be needed in the winter. I hope we are able to come back next year. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway from town. Thanks again, Stephanie!
Rested our mind and bodies
This was the perfect getaway. The cabin is very clean and far enough away yet close enough to enjoy everything Pagosa has to offer. Stephanie offered us help on what to do but we knew what we wanted. Fish, river tube, soak in the hot springs and relax. Our 2 dogs loved it too, we opened the back door and let them come and go as they pleased thanks to the fenced in dog area. We will go back, for longer next time.
Prior to arrival we had some questions and Stephanie was very quick to respond. We met her upon arrival and she was very nice and helpful. This cabin was great, plenty of room and very clean. We had a deer in our backyard one morning which we loved seeing. We also put up a hummingbird feeder and had several visitors. This cabin has a great price and we would highly recommend it.
The property was everthing you expect from a Colorado cabin two thumbs up
Great cabin clean well maintained big kitchen beautiful view plenty warm great hills to sled we had a great Christmas and new year there and will for sure be back be sure you have a 4wd if you're staying in the winter enjoy
Thank you William. Pleasure to have you and your friends and doggy. So glad your holidays at the cabin were a joy.
For future guests I want to mention that all wheel drive vehicles can also access the property in extreme weather. There is an alternate route that takes 1.7 miles longer. I use this as my commute in supper snowy and icy conditions. I do it very carefully though:)
