Welcome to our secret spot! Our 5 daughters grew up on Lake Demmon and it’s our favorite place for our family to gather. When you rent from us, you help support our family to keep our special place that we hold dear. Thank you!! We are constantly improving our special place. :)

Some info about our cottage:
— 5 bedroom/ 2 bath lakefront cottage
— Parking for 6+ vehicles
— Zero entry beach
— 7 Kayaks, Canoes, Paddleboat & Life Preservers provided
— Campfire Pit by the Lake and ADK Chairs
— Large Yard for Games and Fun
— Pet Friendly
— 4th Cleanest Lake in NYS!
— NO zebra muscles
—High Speed Internet and Cable TV
— Quiet and Quaint Lake Commumity
— Doors on each bedroom

The Cottage offers a SO MUCH ROOM!
The Great Room offers seating for 12-20, there are multiple dining areas, a full kitchen, refrigerators & dishwasher.

A fold out sleeper on the main for that is twin sized and air mattresses, if needed.

The lakefront has a zero-entry, small beach. It’s perfect if you like to wade in (like me ) or have small children who like to play in the sand and wade in and out. No big drop off at the shore for the kids.

The Bedrooms are all upstairs:
Bedroom #1- Queen bed and dresser
Bedroom #2- Queen bed and dresser
Bedroom #3- Queen bed and a twin bed.
Bedroom #4- 2 twins - 2 twin beds and a dresser
Bedroom #5- A Queen bed and a twin bed

We sleep 13 in beds.

A full bath with shower is on the first floor and there is a half bath on the second floor. A second shower outside makes our house unique ;)

Lake Demmon Campground on the Lake offers a camp store that has burgers, hot dogs, fish fries on Friday and ice cream! The kids can paddle over and get a special treat!
They also have pizza and other lunch and dinner snacks :)

Keuka Lake Wine Trail-20 minute drive
Stonybrook State Park- 25 minute drive
Alfred- 25 minute drive
Corning Museum of Glass- 30 minutes drive

** please note. We will collect a security deposit "Hold" only upon booking which will Hold a security deposit 2 days before arrival and release 3 days after departure. Thanks :)

Loved the fact it was located on a campground site away from the main road. Great place for families with young kids.

So glad you had a great time! I agree, perfect for families, including ours :) :) The privacy does make it feel a bit like a campground spot, I never thought of it that way, but it's true. No traffic and a huge yard. Thanks for choosing to stay with us!

Great place for a getaway!

My family and friends have been staying here every year. The house is very cozy and has great amenities, The lakeside location is beautiful! Kayaks are available for a paddle on the lake. There is also fire pit lakeside to enjoy in the evening. The house has an on demand water heater so everyone has a hot shower at the end of the day. We are so happy we have been able to make this house our home one weekend a year.

Cottage on a lake

The cottage has everything we needed for a great vacation stay. Swimming, fishing, kayaking was really fun. This place is fully stocked, and had everything! Everyone had a great time and throughly enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend this place for either a short getaway or extended vacation.

We had a great time. My 6 year old son caught a bunch of fish right from the dock. It was a short drive to Watkins Glen. The home was nice, clean and had everything we needed. Good communication with the owner. We would definitely recommend!

Exactly what we hoped for!

We enjoyed a quick getaway with the family- 6 adults, 3 kids, and two dogs. There was lots of room for everyone! The cottage was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. Bonus points for the beautiful quilts for each bed! The view of the lake was so pretty. The kids loved being able to play in the shallow area and try to catch fish from the dock. We made good use of the paddle boat and kayaks, too. We would gladly return!

A great weekend getaway!

This is the second time we stayed at this house and it is absolutely perfect! Our hostess had everything we needed in the house and it was very cozy. We enjoyed the easy access to the Demon Run ATV trails. We were blessed with nice weather and had a chance to take the kayaks out for a paddle. At the end of the active day it was nice to sit by the fire pit on the lake or in a comfy chair near the fireplace. Looking forward to going back next year❤️

It was really nice with the fire ring being able to all sit around together and make smores. The firewood is provided, but bring your ax so you can chop it up.The little area they had for a makeshift beach was nice for my two-year-old grandson who was afraid to get in the water. Everyone had a blast with the kayaks, the paddle boat, the canoe. And of course, the Floaties that were provided. The weather was beautiful and hot. With that being said, I hope you like to sleep with it being extremely hot. They have fans which is really nice but on hot nights it doesn’t cut it. The one night it was so hot. I had to use a washcloth to moisten my skin for the fan to cool me off until I could fall asleep.

So glad you enjoyed the fire pit, the zero entry beach and all the boats and floaties. We have Air Conditioning there for you. I wish you would've reached out if you had trouble using it. We are always here for guests if they have questions or issues that may arise. We also have ceiling fans and stand up fans in each room to help move the air to keep everyone comfortable with the AC. Thanks for choosing to stay with us :)

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My husband and I bought our first family cottage on Lake Demmon. We fell in love within the clean water, sand/clay bottom, the great fishing, Finger Lakes Hiking Trails and the lovely Lake community. We are so excited to be back on the lake with enough bedrooms for our 5 daughters! It’s our favorite spot!
