Our stay was fantastic. One of the best properties we’ve stayed at. The communication with Meg was easy and she was so helpful thought our stay. The location is fantastic and house was so comfortable for our group of 6. It was also so helpful to have the paper goods and toiletries available!! To have two spots for parking also amazing!

This is a lovely home, perfectly clean, all appliances in working order, easy check in.Meg and John have put together a book of helpful facts from how to operate the tv to where to find the best ice cream in Cape May. They are immediately responsive and helpful when you have a question. The home feels comfortable and welcoming. Parking is easy in a spot specific for their condo. They supply paper products which is helpful. They even had extra batteries in the drawer ready to use when the tv ‘clicker’ stopped ‘clicking’. The kitchen has all you need to make a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner. We’ve stayed there twice and plan to return again in 2027. Lovely home , wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home! Great location, walkable to Washington Street and the beach. We enjoyed having access to the beach box with beach chairs and umbrella. We also enjoyed sitting out on the screened porch after sunset each night. Common spaces and bedrooms were comfortable and well decorated. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. We had everything we needed for a lovely weeklong stay! We will be back!

Great place with plenty of room for our party (4 adults, 1 child). The place was clean, well stocked with necessities, and in a fantastic location. We were able to walk to everything we planned to do. The 2 included parking spaces were very helpful and check in instructions were clear. We would definitely stay here again!

Location of this property is outstanding! Walkable to almost everything we wanted to visit. And the beach box with umbrella and chairs was sooo convenient. Kitchen had everything we needed. Had a minor glitch with check-in that was not a fault of owners; it was a VRBO issue. Meg checked in to be sure all was well - very much appreciated. All in all, a comfortable, clean, well-located property. Would easily stay here again!

We always enjoy our stay at this wonderful place. A problem with the internet connection on our arrival was swiftly resolved by our gracious host even though it was late in the evening. Its central location puts you in the middle of everything Cape May has to offer. A real winner!

Cape May is a very special place for us. We married at Peter Shields Inn (a must try dining experience during your stay) on Beach Avenue in 2016 so it is our home away from home.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love the location of our second home on Washington street since it's so close to Cape May's fabulous little shops and restaurants. It is less than a 10 min walk to the gorgeous beach so you really can park your car for the duration of your stay and plan to stroll the the adorable tree lined streets and marvel at the historic Victorian homes. Come stay and fall in love with our beach retreat and Cape May like we did!
