My girlfriends and I were in impressed with the cleanliness of unit as well as decor. We were concerned staying on lower floor would be nosier and view would not be as good, but view was fabulous and unit was quiet. We will stay in this unit next year if available!

Great Stay

This place was lovely. Comfortably fit four adult women. Amazing view of the beach & just a walk across the street to get on the beach! Pool and hot tubs were really nice. The facility was really excellent. Will keep this on my list for future stays!

Majestic Sun-great location

We really enjoyed our stay here! Super close to restaurants, the beach bar, shopping, etc… The condo wasn’t the cleanest and the kitchen isn’t very well stocked but we spent most of our time on the beach and balcony anyway. We would definitely stay at the Majestic Sun again!

Amazing Views

This is our most favorite place to visit! The views, sand and water are absolutely amazing. The condo was in great shape with just a few very minor cleaning issues but nothing that would make us not come back to the same place! The indoor pool was closed due to repairs which was a big bummer during spring break days but not the fault of rental company. We had an amazing time as always!

We absolutely loved it! It was perfect for our family of four. The location is the best! We had just a couple issues like a broken faucet but they were so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We had an amazing view of the beach/ocean. Beds/other furniture was comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Our condo had everything our family needed.

Come for the view!

Awesome views from the master bedroom, living room, and balcony. Spacious unit though seems a bit sterile in decor, rather than anyone ever lives here. A couple of cleaning issues but limited to specific small areas (suggesting something was moved and area behind was missed) and otherwise cleaner than most hotel rooms. Mattresses are overall not very supportive, a problem for a couple people in our party though I slept fine. A few touches like beach towels/chairs or area restaurant recommendations would make a nice enhancement.

Summer fun

Very nice and in a good location although paid extra for an early check in when we got there at our early arrival time had to wait an hour for the cleaning lady to finish cleaning. Check out time was at 9am at 7:45 am the cleaning lady was knocking on the door saying she was here to clean. Kinda aggravated like wait on me to finish then hurry up and get out geez.

Everything was great except the dryer. The dryer would not dry clothes with one drying cycle. We had to put several cycles in order for the clothes to dry.

Perfect location, perfect balcony, but needs deep cleaned

Overall, the stay was good. We’ve stayed at the Majestic Sun several times, but this is our first booking through VRBO. The best parts: the condo served us very well. We love the location. The balcony of this condo was perfect; it was large and had plenty of seating. The kitchen had the basics and provided all that we needed. The not so good part: I’m not sure how the cleaning services work, but this one needed some serious reconsideration of who did the cleaning. There was a very ominous stain on the shower curtain. We requested it be changed. Maintenance came on the first day and fixed a broken toilet paper holder and towel bar, but they only brought a shower curtain liner. They never came back with a new curtain. Found false eyelash set on a bedroom mirror. Top of refrigerator was filthy. Grout in shower had mold. Bed skirt in master was dirty. It for sure needs a little TLC. I would still recommend this unit, but maybe come prepared with Clorox wipes.

Pretty good-missing a little

Communication was excellent-important information sent a week before the trip. There is a customer service number you can text which responded very quickly. A little disappointed in that the kitchen was very minimally stocked-would be nice to have more than one hand towel/kitchen utensils/general baking-cooking items/small amount dish soap, dishwasher soap,toilet paper and paper towel. No blankets available in the condo. While not necessary-some additional items would be nice to encourage people to return. Washer and dryer were really nice-shape of the condo had mismatched doors/chipped paint, ripped curtains-did not impact use but not the most aesthetically pleasing. Nice table and chairs on porch-struggled to use patio doors-the locks were a little glitchy. Check out process was simple-not an exhaustive list to complete before you leave. Trash chute was close/could not hear neighbors and general complex was not noisy. Close to beach access-location was close to a lot of different restaurants/shopping/grocery. In some of the pictures it looks like there are grills available-they actually belong to a nearby hotel. Cleanliness was lower-not sure about the ceiling in master bedroom bathroom-? mold maybe. While we had a wonderful week-I would not be inclined to stay in this condo related to limited items in the condo. We like to make meals in the condo and really struggled to do this. It was a nice location though!

beautiful, cozy and functional

Great location! Its right across the street from the beautiful, blue water of the Gulf. The view is amazing and we didn't need to go down to the beach to enjoy it. The property is near perfect- pretty, convenient and comfortable vacation condo. There was only one thing I would improve- the sliding door needs some attention. It doesn't seem to lock (or at least might take more work than we gave it) and there's no door handle on the outside making you pull on the metal slit which was difficult. I must point out to others there's no staple items in the kitchen. No salt and pepper or ketchup- things like that. We read the 'stuff to bring' but didn't see these things. We went to the store often so it wasn't a big deal beyond our first breakfast. Everything worked in the condo a/c, w/d, cable. I gave 4 stars on check in process. Check in was a little late at 4p. Southern kept in contact with me which I thought was a nice touch. I got a text when the property's water was going to be turned off for an hour and a general text asking if everything was okay and was there anything we needed. The resort was thankfully quiet despite the amount of people renting. The loudest thing, aside from the ocean, is the traffic on the street between you and the beach which drowned out the soothing sounds of the waves sometimes. I never heard any other guests except when out on the balcony. All in all, a fantastic trip! If you're thinking about it- go for it.
