This beautiful 2 bedroom unit is perfect for enjoying all the Island has to offer. You are literally steps from the Gulf of Mexico and all that Dauphin Island has to offer. After relaxing on the sugar-white beach and enjoying the waves lapping at your feet take a refreshing dip in the pool to cool off or relax in a lounge chair. Historic Fort Gaines is within walking distance as well as fishing, shops, and Ferry Service to Fort Morgan. The Bird Sanctuary, Indian Burial Mounds, Sea Lab and Estuarium, and restaurants and shops are close enough to enjoy by bike.

Just as described and easy beach access!

The condo was exactly as described in the description. It was very clean, and the management team was very responsive. The view from the condo to the beach is amazing and the beach access is literally steps away from the door of the condo. I would recommend this location for individuals and families looking for a quiet getaway location.

Overall....a great little spot

Had a long weekend at this condo with family. Plenty of room for everyone. The check in process was a little discouraging as the unit was not adequately numbered. Wasn't sure we were at the right unit, until we tried the lock Box.the check out process was easy enough. We the beasch acess was great.box.

This is the first property where the pictures are EXACTLY what you get. The condo was very nice, and looks EXACTLY like the pictures. The location was a 1 minute walk from the sand, and it was SO quiet. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, usually there is always something I wish I had when cooking, but this is the first time I have ever not needed any utensil or pot or pan, everything was there.

We had a great time, the condo is very nice. Check in was very difficult because there were no markings on the doors and the door was very difficult to get open. There were 2 doors for A-2 but neither was marked. The door that had the lock box was very difficult to open, leading to anxiety attack. Later we discovered that the key also fit the exterior kitchen door and that doorknob and deadbolt worked smoothly. For check-in, my suggestion is to mark the kitchen door with "A-2" and place the lock box on it. For cleanliness, all was clean except 1. the master ensuite bathroom wall on the mirror side and the shelves above the toilet were all very dusty; 2. the ceilings have some water stains in various places throughout the condo; 3. the attic access ceiling door isn't closed all the way. Everything else was very, very clean. The AC works great!! The wifi could be better, we had trouble streaming a movie to the living room tv using our Roku stick we brought with us. The parking lot has potholes. Thank you for letting us stay. We liked it.

Dauphin island stay

The condo is of good size, two generous bedrooms, a pull out couch and a second couch and love seat. Beautiful views of the ocean and a short walk to the pool. The condo was great and provided plenty of space for the five us. The condo is fully stocked with dishes, towels, linens, has a washer and dryer as well games for the kids. Recommendations to the owner/manager: Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for each restroom, only two large bags for the trash were found, dishwasher soap, as well as laundry detergent were barely supplied as well. Beach towels were found eventually but not easily located. Would recommend placing all items for guest use in one or two of the main closets and label as such. We hesitated to use many items as we were uncertain if they were for the property owners use only. Clearly marking totes or closets and providing a binder with additional information to the renter would be a nice touch. This location on the island is our favorite due to proximity to the beach, fort, and nature preserve. We prefer Dauphin island due to the lazy island feel that caters to family. Unlike other beach destinations which have the hustle and bustle of tons of tourist and shops. Dauphin Island has a different feel a slow pace perfect for families with young kids or the avid fishermen, we spend our days enjoying the pool and beach not always searching for the next thing to entertain us.

Dauphin Island Surf Club

Very cool condos. Large. Built in the 1950’s. Nice kitchen. King size bed was good. Queen size bed was two twins pushed together. Swayed in the middle. Not the most comfortable. Text the rental Manager who was named Ellen. She seemed put out by questions. Check in process easy. Took pictures when arrived of everything in Comdo. Whoever had cleaned the condo hadn’t done a very good job. There was toothpaste all over the bathroom. Sink and stove was dirty. Oven needed cleaning. Very mustyl smelling. The furniture was well used. But comfortable enough. View was breathtaking. Best view in units. Checked in Saturday evening. By Sunday night was already heating construction on the unit below us. They had plumbing problems. By Monday the plumbing problems were much worse. The lateral line had collapsed and sewage was dumping into the condo underneath us. Was told would not have water nor could use the water. Ellen rented a condo for one night that was supposed to be beachside but a loooong way from the beach. Had to pack clothing and bring food to the other condo. Had to check out by 11. I felt like two days were wasted we could have been enjoying the beach. Was told no smoking in or in the property. Lots of people smoking on property even the office manager of the Condos. Inside and outside the office. We do not smoke. We also had my 11 month old Grandchild with us. Very inconvient to be with out water. Was told to just sit by the pool since we couldn’t use the condo.
