Thank you Angela! Wish the weather had been better, but at least the rain kept the Canada wildfire smoke away from the coast of Maine! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Easy access washer/ dryer. Everything was very clean well organized and comfortable. Kitchen was set up nicely. We found everything we needed for cooking….Dining area looked out on the water and a nice porch with a table and a picnic table for outside meals or morning coffee…. Moon sets sunsets very Pleasant. Plenty of birds to see! Easy access to many areas.

Happy to hear you had a great visit! We’re truly blessed to have such a beautiful location on the bay. Thanks for sharing your feedback!
The home was well stocked and the property manager was responsive to all questions. We enjoyed the peaceful location and watching the birds along the shore.
This house was perfect, private and a relaxing place to wind down after exploring the area. Dinners in or a short drive to the local restaurants. Sunrise with a cup of coffee or a cocktail at sunset on the back deck was amazing. The board games were a blast to end a long day. The beds and pillows were heavenly.

we spent a lot of time kayaking in the bay it was beautiful :)
We chose this location to celebrate some significant milestones in our lives. It was a delightful place....clean, well equipped, and with an air of relaxation.

The cabin was just as pictured, everything was well stocked and the decor and furniture was very comfortable. We immediately felt like we were home. We stayed 5 nights. It was such a wonderful time!
The loons were on the bay every night. It was so peaceful to sit out back and enjoy the view!
This cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is quiet and has a beautiful view to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. A well appointed kitchen to cook breakfast or even a lobster dinner. The cottage is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It’s also a relaxing place to enjoy the evening and a great backyard complete with fire pit and bay view.
Great time in the very cute house on the hill! Beautiful views and everything we needed! We used as our base camp for Acadia National and the additional drive time to be away from the maddening crowd was worth it. Bonnie was an UBER responsive host and we knew if we needed something she would make it happen (but we didn’t since everything was perfect).
Quiet, clean and relaxing. Interesting to watch the tides, loons and herons. Lots of indoor and outdoor space for our group to take advantage of. Each bedroom has its own tv along with a large screen in the dining, living, kitchen area. Gravel access road took a little getting used to and the neighbors dog didn't like our car driving by, but small concerns during an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Sorry about the neighbors dog. He’s harmless, but does tend to bark when cars go by. They keep him at their camp for the summer and I didn’t know he was back. Our neighbors are very understanding and I’m sure they will address this issue right away. Thanks for letting me know.
Happy you enjoyed your stay!

This place was fantastic! While it was dark and raining when we arrived, which made finding the correct cottage a little challenging, the location was one with epic views. We used this as a base camp for adventures in Acadia National Park. The accommodations were excellent. Having a gas grill as one of the amenities made for a couple of tasty, fast dinners at home so we could enjoy the view of the bay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.
Exceeded expectations. Greeted warmly by owners. Everything worked perfectly. Once we figured out how the TV controls worked we loved it. All of us are over 80! Comfortable both inside and out. This is it!
If you are an outdoor enthusiast, the cottage is not only a great location for visiting the well known attractions but also lesser known hidden gems! The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable–great beds, totally equipped kitchen and oh so soft and thick towels 😉. The rear of the cottage faces the bay, offering stunning sunset views and a large variety of waterfowl that provide enjoyable serenades. Had the pleasure of meeting our hosts and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Bottom line, great place to immerse oneself in all that Maine has to offer!
We loved the area and the home. Very quiet and amazing sunsets by the lake. We felt very relaxed. I think the bedroom need blinds to block out the light as it gets very bright, very early. Some other things that I think are needed are some simple condiments, salt pepper oil, maybe we just didn't see them. These are future improvements in our opinion that can complete this rental. Thank you Bonnie for hosting us!

Thanks for your review Anton. We will definitely add light blocking blinds to the ocean side windows in the bedroom. The sun does come up quite early here in Maine. We actually see the first sunrise in the whole US! Thanks for the suggestion.
As for condiments we’re still in Covid mentality, but will consider in the future.
My family of three stayed at this house for five nights in July. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros - Quiet area, nice water view of the bay. Good communication, nice to have laundry use. We went to Ironbound Inn, which is great. We also used the grill a few times! Clean house and property. Nice toiletries for our use and a gift basket of pancake items.
Cons - This is a mobile home in a neighborhood that is pretty run down.

Thanks for your feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the main house is a vintage, lovingly restored, mobile home, with a large stick built addition. Our 2 neighbors are hardworking (father and son) lobster fishermen and their families who have lived in the area for generations. We’re grateful to have such kind and thoughtful neighbors. Most people enjoy the peaceful solitude of our quiet, safe area, a little off the beaten path. I hope you’ll come visit us again!
Thanks, Bonnie
