This was a great home with little touches that made our stay very comfortable. We often take weekend trips in Florida with a multigenerational group and this was one of the best experiences we have had. If you are planning a stay in Winter Haven, Florida-this is your place.

We were able to get three generations of family together. This house, pool and access to the lake was perfect. Enough space for all of us without feeling crowded but also a great communal space. We even found the fishing rods and tackle in the shed and caught some bass trout for catch and release (we restocked the tackle box). The swimming pool provided endless fun for the kids and the widespread indoor space was perfect for everyone to relax and catch up. All the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and charming. I actually wish we had a longer time there. Also, I suggest making coffee and walking down to the dock for every morning sunrise.

This was the perfect home for our family while visiting Legoland. It allowed everyone space to spread-out. The game room for the kiddos was key! It was very clean and inviting. We had 9 people all together. 5 adults and 4 littles. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy. Loved it! Probably my favorite VRBO yet. The antique furniture pieces are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Great lake house stay with friends

We had an awesome time at this lake house. The location was perfect — quiet and private but still easy to get to everything we needed. Waking up to the water views every morning was the highlight of the trip. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals, and the outdoor space (including the dock) gave us plenty of room to hang out, grill, and relax. It felt spacious enough that we weren’t on top of each other, which made the weekend with friends even better. Everything was as described and the place was easy to settle into. We didn’t have any issues and left feeling like we’d gotten a solid break. Would definitely stay again if we’re looking for another lake weekend with the crew.

Fantastic Home

The house is beautiful and offers great amenities. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise on the lake every morning. The location is also fantastic...there are a surprising number of really good restaurants around the lakes in Winter Haven not to mention the close proximity to Florida tourist attractions.

Our Short-term rental stay

Our stay at this gorgeous 4-bedroom home on Lake Otis was absolutely perfect for a couples’ getaway! The house was spacious and beautifully designed, giving each couple plenty of privacy while still offering cozy gathering spaces for us to relax together. We loved spending our days boating and paddleboarding on the lake, lounging by the pool, and enjoying all the games and activities available. The setting was serene, with stunning views of the lake that made every moment feel like a retreat. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation—we can’t wait to book again!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home. It was spacious, well equipped, clean and had plenty to do without having to leave. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants but still very peaceful when you were sitting out back. My only suggestion would be to replace the master bedroom mattress. It was sagging on both sides and not very comfortable. All of the other beds were fine! We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

We all had a great time at the lake house. The house and landscape exudes old Florida charm but has clearly had lots of recent renovations and updates both inside and out. The house is very spacious, nicely equipped and very clean. Our only recommendation would be to have some options on the heated pool temperature (which may be possible, we didn't ask, but would have preferred a bit warmer). Overall we really liked the house and would be happy to stay there again.

Our family stay

Our family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this amazing 4-bedroom home on Lake Otis! The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped for a fun-filled getaway. We loved spending time on the lake boating with our organized tour captain and paddleboarding. The kids couldn’t get enough of the swimming pool. There were so many games to take advantage of in the game room. Everyone in the family had something to do. The peaceful lake views and cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to relax and make memories. We can’t wait to come back for another stay! Highly recommend!”
