Beautiful unit in the hilly neighborhood of Montford just north of downtown Asheville. A bit tricky to find the first time, but the host provides excellent directions.

We loved the beautifully restored carriage house apartment, gorgeous bathroom with clawfoot tub, and great communication with host. The location is quiet and residential and also close to attractions, restaurants and hiking. The host has wonderful tips and information that made checking in and settling into the space seamless. It was a treasured retreat as hoped. We enjoyed our stay and will love the opportunity to return!

This small but just the right size for 2 people apartment was awesome. The decor is visibly well thought out creative and comfortable. The apartment was very clean and had the most amazing bathroom. The bed was very comfortable too. The only issue we had was actually finding the place but the owner had texted us so we had a way to contact her for help. We also could have used another set of towels but to be fair we didn’t reach out to ask for more. This place is close to the Biltmore and Givens estates which were important destinations for our trip. I would recommend this little getaway spot and would not hesitate to rent again.

Thank you for your thoughtful review Judy! I so appreciate future guests knowing what was meaningful to you during your stay with me. Your pount regarding arrival is especially illuminating as staying in a unique property requires guests to review all of the arrival information provided in the welcome guide message and thread before their arrival as our historic neighborhood has many nooks and crannies and it is not always obvious as to where to park and access the unit.... Likewise, due to the environmental impact of short-term rentals, I attempt to negotiate guest comfort with water and energy usage providing 2 towels per person for a 3 night stay assuming it will be sufficient. However, I would have been most happy to alert you as to where the spare towels were kept if you had inquired. Thanks again, I truly enjoyed hosting you and would welcome you back anytime!
