This Spacious 2,604 square foot home with over half an acre is fully furnished and stocked with all of the basic amenities for your stay and can comfortabley accommodate 8-10 people. Just a short 10 minute walk will lead you to the famous Capitola Village where you can enjoy amazing beachfront dining, shopping, surfing, stand-up paddling, nightlife and much more!

Enjoy panoramic ocean views from two of the spacious bedrooms, the living room, and the dining room which can comfortable accommodate 10 people. The pristine backyard is perfect for sunbathing, lawn games, or enjoying lunch on the patio where you can find additional table and chairs.

You will find yourself emerged in the depths of serenity while staying at Villa Sanfilippo. With a gated entry, you will be able to relax in this blissful home.

Fantastic home

The home location is spectacular with ocean views day and night. The amenities were plentiful and provided a very comfortable oasis for our family weekend gathering.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay with our family at Rachel’s property. The gardens are gorgeous, plenty of space for our family to spend time together while engaging in different activities. We plan to return.

Excellent location

My extended family had a wonderful stay at this home. We enjoyed the outdoor space and views of the ocean, and loved being walking distance to the beach and shops. We would recommend this house!

Beautiful view, great location!

Owner and property manager were great and accessible. Home overlooks the ocean, and access to a private beach below. A short walk to the restaurants and shops in Capitola.

We loved our time there!

We thoroughly enjoyed are visit, as did our friends and family who joined us.. The house is spacious, the yard was a great place for the kids to play, and it's just a short walk to the village! The property manager was a dream to work with! We are looking forward to our visit next year!

Incredible property!

Awesome views of Monterey bay. This single level home worked perfectly for our family. The property is incredible....beautiful older home with great location. Beaches and restaurants are within walking distance. With daily temperatures in the mid-60's, it was the perfect retreat from the 100 temps we've been experienceing in the Sacramento valley.

Stunning View

We loved meeting John, the owner, who showed us around the property and shared its history. The view of Monterrey Bay from the property is stunning and spans the width of the house. We enjoyed our stay immensely especially the backyard with firepit, grill, room for lawn games, and beautiful landscaping, sharing meals in the large open dining/living room, plus the fun game room where we had ping pong tournaments and played board games. It was a blessing to gather together as a family at Casa de Sanfilippo and hope to be able to come stay again next year!

Unbelievable!

This home is truly incredible. Quiet, ample parking, super spacious, clean and well-stocked. Communication with the host was also fantastic and made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. There is no reason to stay anywhere else!

No need to even leave the property

This was a great place for grandparents and teenagers alike! With the comfortable house layout, incredible windows and views, and safe walk to the local beach, there was something for all of us to enjoy, without even getting into our cars and driving anywhere.

Wonderful Property and Location

This home is in a perfect location. We walked or rode our bikes to all the nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping, and trails. The home and view is beautiful. Nice grass area in the backyard, killer grill, and the beautiful views. We highly recommend this vacation home, even our three teenagers/young adults were impressed. The ping pong table was definitely used and enjoyed by all.

Heaven by the sea!

We just returned from a three night stay in this lovely home. My 18 year old told me this morning "this was an 11 out of 10 vacation!" I know I did something right when my son tells me that! We enjoyed making wonderful memories at this home and look forward to returning again later this year.

Best Santa Cruz Stay Ever

Simply breathtaking views and perfect location - walking distance to Privates Beach, Capitola (.5 mile) and Pleasure Point (> .5 mile). House has everything one needs for entertaining a group or oneself and is spacious with room for everyone to relax in private. We enjoyed grilling and s’mores in the back and a cornhole tournament. I seriously hope that we are able to book this gem on Opal Cliff again soon!

Large multi-family house on Capitola beach

Absolutely outstanding location, views, and property. A perfect place for a family reunion. The property manager was very responsive to a small technical malfunction. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and ingredients. Will come back here.

The most amazing stay ever

Without doubt this is the most amazing rental we have ever stayed in. Location - Perfect Owner - The nicest person Management - attentive House - Great areas for the kids to play, lush garden, very comfortable house with social space that works really well. View - I'm pretty sure I will never stay in a house with a more spectacular view than this one. Stay here you will not be disappointed! The owner was so lovely he bought my entire family a local trip that cost us over $400.

Great for famililes

Lovely house with amazing views! The yard is enclosed which was great for our 3 young children. The Master bedroom also has 2 rooms attached were our kids slept leaving more beds for the adults. The fire pit is elevated so safer for evening fires with the kids. We loved being close to Capitola beach and the beach and tidal pools at 41st St. Thank you for a great getaway!

Amazing location

My husband and I, friends and family stayed here for 4 nights for our son’s wedding weekend during some of the hottest days of the year. When we realized there was no a/c or fans, we called the property manager and she had two fans delivered within a few hours. Home is spacious and the views were spectacular! Short walk to downtown Capitola and beach. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and relaxing in the beautiful backyard.

Monterey Bay Views

We had a wonderful time at this beach house! It feels like visiting wonderful relatives at their great home on a cliff overlooking Monterey Bay. My husband and son loved surfing right there and the house accommodated a family gathering. The kitchen was filled with BBQ and cooking supples. There was a Keurig and regular coffee pot! Musicians in the family appreciated the beautiful grand piano! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I hope we can visit again!Thank you to the Sanfillipo family for making this incredible spot available! Oh, and the garden is lovely!!

Twice in one summer! It's THAT amazing!

This was our second stay since the end of May! We loved it so much the first time (Memorial Day weekend) we decided to return for Labor Day weekend! Since our last visit, the privacy gates had been replaced. WOW! They are beautiful and such a nice upgrade! The home is warm and inviting! We always have a wonderful time here. The young adults in the group love being able to walk to the private beach which was open by the way. The 10 min walk to Capitola Village is fantastic! This home has it all! Looking forward to our next visit!

Wow, what a gorgeous set up for a rental, with incredible views, and great location! The owner, Johnny, met us, gave us a thorough walk-through, and was so gracious, fun and friendly, we really appreciated that. We have not experienced that after many stays at other VRBO‘s. The house is perfect in so many ways! We stayed here 36 days and loved every moment of our stay. View from the yard of hundreds of birds (seagulls, pelicans, cormorants) and the Monterey Bay was surreal at times. From the kitchen, well stocked with appliances, glassware, plates, utensils, ect to a 8 seat dining room table, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a TV room and a fun filled ‘rumpas’ room with a ping pong table and large screen TV and dining table, funtastic!! Loved this place so much we booked it next year for 6 weeks!! Really appreciated the owner and property manager, Turiya, they are great people, thank you.

Incredible view and great location

This rental is in a prime location with an incredible180 ocean view. The yard is well landscaped and it was so relaxing to grill out there and let the kids play. We walked just a few steps to the beach, drove just a few minutes to town, and had a wonderful stay. Really great home for our weekend family getaway (6 adults, 2 children, 1 toddler, with room to spare)! We enjoyed the fire pit/heat lamp, grand piano, wifi speaker, patios , corn hole, kid's scooter, and games. The only complaint I have is that the most of dishes and cups in the cabinets were very dirty when we arrived and many looked like they were litereally put back without washing (bread crumbs, lipstick on cups, etc). Since we pay a decent cleaning fee, that was disappointing. Also, the kitchen was not super well equipped for someone who enjoys cooking-- all the knives were very dull, even the scissors were dull, so if you like to cook, bring your own. Many of the dishes were chipped, pots/pans leave a lot to be desired. It's also an older home that hasn't been updated in many areas. But the views and overall experience made up for all that so I still give it 5 stars and would love to stay here again.

Breathtaking Views in a Great Location!

Stayed 4 nights at this beautiful home. The view is just like the pictures. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio, used the bbq and the firepit. Great to be able to walk into Capitola to restaurants, shopping and the beach. House was very clean and lots of beds to house a large group. Things that kept this from being a 5 star house was the furniture layout and the kitchen supplies. Just like pictured - the main living room has a 3 person couch and two chairs. There is a stone hearth to sit on too, but not very comfortable. Not enough seats for a house that sleeps 12. There is a TV room, but again, one small couch and two chairs. If you all want to sit together, you have to bring in chairs and sit on the floor. My recommendation - add a large couch to the living room and a larger rug to make it possible for everyone to be together. Dining table is large which was nice for meals. Kitchen was pretty unorganized and needs some basics (mixing bowls, set of sharp knives). Turiya, the property manager, was very helpful with a couple of small items we needed during the stay. We did give her the feedback on the seating and the kitchen and she was very receptive and appreciated the input. All said, this was a great house, great location and amazing views!
