Welcome to "Sandy Cheeks" on Folly Beach! This home was built for the perfect beach vacation! The home has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and numerous decks to enjoy the ocean breezes. Rooftop deck includes beautiful ocean views and picturesque sun sets. The fenced in yard is perfect for the family pet who is welcome to enjoy Folly Beach as well! We gladly accept all pets and have no breed restrictions so everyone can enjoy the beach! Only a short walk to the beach access is great for families and only a short bike ride to Center Street 916 East Arctic will be a repeat vacation destination for years to come!

The top floor has a large living area with flat-screen tv and ample seating for the family. The owners have added all of their personal touches with creative artwork to give the home a great coastal feel. The top floor includes the master bedroom with queen bed and attached master bath with walk-in shower. The second bedroom upstairs has queen bed. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining with center island, large dining table and access to the back porch with outdoor dining options. The back yard also includes a charcoal grill for guest to enjoy. Upgraded appliances in the kitchen are perfect for even the most discerning family chef.

Downstairs includes three bedrooms, two with queen beds and a kids room with two twins. The living area downstairs has flat-screen tv to provide to living areas with entertainment options. Living area also include twin daybed for additional sleeping options.

Folly Beach is a very pet friendly community with many restaurants and stores that open their outside areas to our four-legged friends. Located on a few miles from historic downtown Charleston a week may not be long enough to enjoy all 916 East Arctic and the South Carolina Lowcountry has to offer. Home is on a quiet one-way street that is perfect for biking and walking. Pet friendly with pet fee of $125 plus tax, per pet. Maximum of 2 pets allowed. Contact us with any questions. Wonderful

Sandy Cheeks was the perfect place for a January break from the cold of Ohio. Everything was just as advertised. We would definitely stay there again.

Sandy Feet Delight

This was a spacious and clean property located closely to beach access. Our group of women over the age of 50 loved our stay and the rooftop provided a fun atmosphere while taking on beautiful views of the ocean! This property provides the PERFECT accommodations and is highly recommended!

Family Getaway

Came to Folly Beach for the first time. The location of the house was great, proximity to beach was fabulous, Had 8 adults and an 11 month old. House was plenty spacious and furnishings were comfortable Roof top deck was nice. A great time was had by all! Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect family house

We had 11 people and It was plenty of room. Enjoyed our stay very much. Literally walked across the street to the beach. Clean and really enjoyed it. Will recommend to anyone traveling there.

Great location on Folly

The location of this house is great. Right across the street from beach access. The rooftop deck is a great space. The furniture needs to be replaced and more comfortable up there. Overall the house is comfortable for a girls weekend trip. Would not be ideal for blended families.

We can’t wait to come back for a third time!

This was our second time staying here and we still love it. The house sleeps several people , and there is room for everyone to spread out when they need a little quiet time. Great place for our dogs. Very pet friendly, clean and a very short walk to the beach. We look forward to returning soon.

Layout of the home is perfect for a large group and very grandkid friendly

The house accommodated the size of our group perfectly with everyone having enough private space (especially for grandkids naps, etc.). Location to the beach is perfect and just a quick walk away, our kids loved it. While we enjoyed the house, it needs a very thorough cleaning.

Better than expected

House was bigger than we expected and located very close to beach access. It's a mile from town but isn't to bad. We had a great time and highly recommend.

A WONDERFUL place to spend with family and friends.

This beach home was a wonderful place for us to spend Christmas with our family. We walked/ran on the beach every single day. The dogs loved being together both inside and out. We would definitely rent this home again. Thanks!

Super cute house!

The house was a great size and had everything we needed. Super close to the beach. Decorated really cute and well kept up. Everything worked great! Love Folly Beach! Our first visit but we will definitely be making it a yearly trip.

Birthday weekend!

This property was awesome! The location was incredible, just steps from the beach. The house was very spacious, exceptionally clean and had an awesome rooftop deck with ocean views(the pictures don’t do it justice!). My friends and I were in town for a birthday celebration and this was the perfect house for a large group. The house was fully stocked with everything you need and the decor was perfect for a beach getaway. We will definitely be back!

Ant House

The house was ok but had a lot of bugs roaches, large ants 3 different kinds. They were in the beds, in the sinks and everywhere. Some of our guest were bitten and one of the small childten was having nightmares. I have nerver seen anything like it. Hundreds of large ants. I feel the owner should make some kind of refund. I called the management co. and told them.

Great time with the girls!

We had such a blast! I went with my girlfriends for a little reunion and it was so relaxing yet we also had a ton of fun. This location was ideal. We were close to the restaurants, shops and all the action on Folly but not too close. It was quiet and relaxing when we wanted that and then we could jump into the action with a very quick car ride or bike ride to the middle of town. It was really close to the beach. We walked out our door and crossed the one way little street and we were like right there at the sand. We were also only 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. We got to do it all! The house was very charming and comfortable. It had the cutest beach decor. I felt like we stepped into a magazine. It was also very clean and had everything we needed. I am so excited about booking our next vacation and next time I will bring the kids.

Sandy Cheeks Needs a Refresh

Sandy Cheeks needs some updating. The furniture is not as pictured in the listing. It’s a bit worn- especially the back patio and roof deck furniture- it is very worn and not especially clean. We’ve been coming to Folly for decades and are very familiar with the once in a while giant bugs that come into the house. But Sandy Cheeks had way too many. Our last night we were watching a movie in the living room and one appeared coming out of the sofa. There were quite a few each night in the lower level bedrooms. The lower level beds were quite uncomfortable- mattresses and box springs need to be replaced. On the plus side, the location is wonderful- super close to beach access. The house is stocked with lots of games and books. A refresh would make the house perfect.

Sandy Cheeks-Folly Beach, Stole my heart!!

We had such an amazing time at 'Sandy Cheeks'.. I hadn't been to Folly Beach in 15 years. Staying at this wonderful house with old friends for a long weekend took all the stresses away. The house was very well updated and fit all of our needs. The owners were a pleasure to work with. Made me feel like I was working with family. The house has everything, large tvs, WIFI, great porch, sundeck, washer and dryer, and plenty of space for me and my friends. Downstairs was like another total living space. If I came back with my kids I would assume they would take over the lower level. So, nice separation there. It was very well decorated and had all of the bathroom supplies and plenty in the kitchen to make seafood fests from night to night. We even had an huge BBQ on the back deck and got out of the sun for a bit. I have never been so close to the beach. A one minute walk. Easily could carry everything to the beach. Felt like we had our own private beach. Played games, went in the water and beach walks. What a treat. At night I loves to go up to the roof deck and see the ocean and feel the ocean breeze and relax in the chairs with friends and laugh. People walking down below would always look up with jealously , wishing they were up their on the roof deck with us. Great place to watch the stars while listening to the ocean. The outdoor shower was great to was off after the beach. A Bike ride to the local store was a must every morning to see what they had freshly made. I love how you go to travel to a place not expecting to much and then the place steals your heart. That's what happened on this trip for me. I fell in love with the house , the location, the beach and Folly Beach as a Whole. We all had a really great time. It was great to reconnect with old friends. Looking forward to going back again and the only place I will stay is "Sandy Cheeks'!!!!
