Great for kids lacked cleanliness

We loved our stay here being on the beach and the amenities the multiple pools and splash pads provided. The pools were heated to a great temperature for the kids and adults to use even though it was early march. We walked on the beach daily and could easily use the large balcony with our huge group. the kitchen was a little lacking in utensils and as another reviewer mentioned the ice maker did not work for our stay (did not contact Maintenace). Upon arrival and opening the door little dust bunnies blew all over the flooring when we walked in. I was a little surprised as i expected it to have been cleaned. Upon reviewing the condo i found the baseboards and trim to be caked in not only a full layer of dust but some type of pet/animal hair. This made my stay extremely difficult. I book properties that are specific no pets as i have severe pet allergies, i lived on Benadryl the entire week as i had itchy watery eyes and allergy issues the full week. I was sorely disappointed in the cleanliness compared to what i saw in other reviews. The common areas of the condo and amenities offered were great! the pictures were a very accurate reflection and despite the cleanliness issue we found check-in to be great and easy the parking garage easy to access and the stores nearby were a huge extra! We liked the setup of the condo and everything it offered!

We had a great time in the property. Location was fantastic and we were able watch dolphins from our balcony.

Well...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a good vacation but can’t say was because of Splash. Our condo was ok. The kitchen was under equipped and a hodgepodge of items. We cooked most of our meals so made I challenging. With 6 people 2 teaspoons didn’t work well. Also, our ice maker did not work. We contacted the property manager about these concerns but no one responded to fix them. Our family enjoyed our stay despite this but will probably choose a different condo.

PCB Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I treated my daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters to a trip to PCB. They’ve actually stayed at Splash a couple times and loved the area and the facility so we decided to stick with a good thing. We were not disappointed. The location is great - close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The facility has a great place for kids to play with multiple pools and a drink/snack shop poolside. They also have grills you can use which is a nice break from the kitchen and/or restaurants. The condo we stayed in was on the 15th floor and was very nice. We had a great view of the beach from our huge balcony with access from both bedrooms as well as the living room. It had 2 master suites which was a must with 6 people as well as bunk beds and a pull out bed in the living room. It was also nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer which allowed us to pack less and return home with all clean clothes. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Perfect location

Honestly, this everything we could have asked for and more. The balcony runs across the whole unit, so both bedrooms and the living room have their own sliding glass door which is a blessing. The layout was perfect and allowed privacy. Washer and dresser was a plus. The resort has a really nice beach area, lazy river, splash pad with a water playground, two pools, and a hot tub. Seriously, perfect. We will try for this same unit every year.

Great Ocean Front

Great location, condo, etc BUT....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay, for the most part. Room was very clean and updated. Pictures were accurate. Note during spring seasons Splash’s pool side bar/grill are not open. On-sight staff was friendly and accommodating. Here’s the BUT...Our first day, after arriving, I had gone to the store to get groceries and left my wife and two young boys at the condo. While in the store I got a call from my wife who was pretty concerned that a man who claimed to be with Emerald Coast Destinations had knocked and before giving time to be addressed just let himself inside the condo. I was very upset after getting this call. For one, the company could have called to ask anything they needed or stated they were coming by. Secondly, when is it standard practice to just let yourself in?? I spoke with the on sight rental company and they said this should never happen. I would agree.I hope ECD can get this fixed and can understand why this might make individuals feel unsafe.

Nice place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My dad and his assistant stayed here for a week. Unit was nice. View was awesome. Unit was clean. They enjoyed their stay. The only 2 cons were that the beds were really high for an 86 year or any children. Also we were told that we could come help get my father in and out of pool. We were staying in another condo down the road. Registration would not let us. So he was unable to swim. This was his last trip of his life and he wanted to swim and see the ocean.Overall I would suggest this unit for anyone!

Disappointed, will definitely go back to our previous condo.

Needs some extra TLC. There were large drywall mud spots in the bathroom that weren't taken care of, very dirty trim, the drains smelled like rotten food, all of the dining room chairs were falling apart which I would think would be a concern for liabilty reasons. Very disappointed in the lack of upkeep of the property.

Family time

Great week in PCB

We had the most amazing week ever. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Condo was well appointed. It had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable. While there weee a couple things that could be upgraded, it worked out well for our family.

We love Splash Resort and This is our favorite condo layout. This condo was well equipped, well decorated and the beds are comfortable. The check in process was quick and easy. My only complaint about booking was we were not made aware the remainder of the balance had to be mailed instead of paid online until right before it was due, so I ended up having to pay $60+ in fees to use my debit card. while we enjoyed our stay, the condo could use a good deep clean. I would assume than happens in the off season. There was a red substance on the walls behind the bed in the master suite and the doors/vents are very dusty. The patio furniture and bar stools need to have bolts tightened up. One patio chair was unusable and a bolt fell out of the barstool when we sat on it. The others were wobbly. I did not notify the property manager of this as I didn’t feel it required intervention for us to have a great stay… just some feedback for things that could be improved in the slower season. The only real issue we had was that the sliding balcony door in one of the bedrooms did not lock. I messaged the property management company through the link they sent upon check in the morning after we checked in (Sunday morning). I thought maybe we’d hear back Monday during business hours but didn’t. Eventually my husband found some tools in the closet and fixed it since it was the room our kids were staying in. We stayed a whole week and never heard back from the property management company.

A great week at the beach but don't recommend for relaxing stay

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon checkin the unit was nice. The floor's definitely needed a good cleaning but after reading other reviews I was mentally prepared for a good basic cleaning being needed. So the goldfish crackers and dryer sheet from the previous guests along with the dust and sand weren't that big of an issue.We then chose rooms and immediately sat down on the bed when the whole thing collapsed and we hit the floor. The second King bedroom was the exact same. We called and spoke to someone about it getting fixed and while they were extremely kind, nobody was available to fix it so we were asked to sleep on the mattresses of both beds in the floor and we would be compensated for the inconvenience.The following day around lunch, maintenance showed up to cut boards and fix both beds. I spoke with someone 3 more times (twice that day and once on checkout day) and was assured it had been turned over to the finance department and someone would contact me. Nearly a week after checkout and I've not heard anything so I just called and the lady told me there was nothing they could do and I should've spoken to someone else. Even though I spoke to someone 4 times at that same number and they assured me it was being handled. Aside from this, our stay was nice. Light bulbs need replaced and over half the outlets in the unit don't work but it was very well stocked with all the kitchen items you would need for a nice trip. The only other issues were cosmetic. It could definitely use touch ups and an entire new paint job but that didn't effect our trip at all.If the cleaners would put forth a tiny bit of effort and even just sweep and mop the floors it would make a huge difference.
