It would be hard to find a better property on the boardwalk in San Diego's Mission Beach. Although the view is worth the price alone, we have done our best to make sure you will enjoy your stay and be comfortable indoors as well as out. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit is furnished with relaxation and simplicity in mind. Quality and comfort are yours in every room.

The large, private deck has patio furniture, a gas grill, and of course, the unforgettable view! The master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin top and a full-size bottom. Parking is available on site in a private, one-car garage. It's all here, come and enjoy it!

You are on the beach, like it says.

The condo is part of a set of multiple condos right on the boardwalk / beach right by Belmont park. The good: location, communicative host, bunk beds for the kidsThe less good: no shower toiletries or laundry soap provided. It's not strictly necessary, but is fairly standard. There are relatively few dishes, so plan to wash the dishes after every meal, or just eat out. The great: super super kind and communicative host. We forgot one of the kiddos tablets by accident and they mailed it back to us! So kind and thoughtful. 5/5 would stay again.

great view, however the place isn’t as nice.

Our experience in late December 2024 was marked by several issues. The space was cramped, forcing sideways movement in the hall and around the bed in the primary room. Appliances were worn, with visible stains and damage from water or electrical burns. Light fixtures flickered, rendering them unusable. The bathroom mirror was peeling, the countertop scratched, and towels old with hanging strings. Baseboards were missing on a few walls. Amenities were limited to hand soap, a sponge, and dish soap. Toilet paper was scarce (4 rolls for 4 people for a week), and trash bags were few. Dishwasher detergent was the only non-limited item. The TV wires were tackily mounted, and Wi-Fi was slow. The TV had basic cable with only 10 channels. The garage, separate from the unit, had a worn and noisy track. The heater had a flue issue and leaked natural gas, causing it to be turned off. Though southern CA isn’t cold, the lack of heat in late December was inconvenient. Two space heaters and two extra blankets were provided. The upstairs unit flooded a few days after arrival, leading to a temporary water shutdown for the complex. The units were connected, with thin walls that allowed for constant conversations and snoring from neighbors. The loud pounding from upstairs, the high-pitched squeal from the shower, and the creaky wooden deck and chairs make this unit uncomfortable, especially in the summer. The owner likely doesn’t reinvest money into the unit, similar complaints for years.

Perfect beach front stay

My son and I recently stayed at this vacation rental on the beach and had an amazing experience! The location is absolutely perfect, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach. We spent our days soaking up the sun we wish there was a fire pit.

Family vacation with the wife and daughter

This place was absolutely amazing not so much the inside but the views and the location! We had an absolutely incredible time and the host is just a relaxed and chilled dude. Awesome guy to work with! And ann absolutely great place to stay, incredible location and you can look at the ocean while you’re taking a shower, lol We highly recommend it and would go back.

Spring Break Stay

This was a perfect spot for beach, play and park access. We were able to stay at the condo for all the fun we were looking for and could easily come in for a break when needed. Beautiful sunset views!

Great view

The view is what this property is all about. Small and needs some updates aka towels are very thin, bed hard had no heat, had to use space heaters. They said it would be fixed but didnt happen during stay. but the view is great. We had some rain during our trip but the view was what we stayed here for. Garage fit are rav4 . Plenty of shopping nearby.

The host is wonderful and the private patio on the beach is amazing! The condo is pretty basic, but it was a great deal and I would stay here again.

Convenient abd close to everything

Great small place, right on the boardwalk. Very close to some shops and places to eat. Nice to have convenient appliacnes to use so we did not have to eat out if we did not want to.

So relaxing

My daughter an I stayed for 3 nights. Our ages are 66 and 33. Loved every minute here Pete was amazing to work with and the view is just as beautiful. The bunk bed mattress was not as comfortable and could maybe use a cushion but it's a great place to stay with many places to eat or drink very close by. We would definitely do it again!

Great beach house

This is a great property right on the beach. It had all the things we needed in the kitchen, clean towels and sheets, and a great deck for people watching. The owner was awesome with communication. It was nice having the garage as well.

Exactly what I wanted, exactly as described, would stay again

5/5. Loved.Not because it's the most luxurious place ever. It's not & I was glad because my mom & I could stay oceanfront in an amazing location w/a big private deck for a short visit & reasonable price. That's what I was looking for & what I got. It was clean on arrival and the host is wonderful. Garage was great-snug, but backed in a Mazda cx9, no prob. The boardwalk quieted down at night & the waves were the only sound if you were on the deck or in the living room with screen door only. Ahhh. the bedrooms were comfortable and adequate for 2-3 people. There is a ceiling fan in the room w/ the bigger bed but not the one with the bunks. It did get a little warm (sept-we expected this) but the window open helped. I slept on the deck for part of one night. We didn't really use the kitchen- just the fridge/freezer and coffeepot and those were great. The washer/dryer were quite good and we did use that. The location is fantastic -there are restaurants & shops where you can get items you need around the corner. The deck is where we spent most of the time when we were at the house. It's fantastic- plastic recliners were cracked but functional. We didn't grill. To know: not a hotel, no soap, shampoo, laundry soap, hairdryer, etc. there was some dishwasher soap (not sure if left by prior renters or supplied) and paper towels, and that sort of thing. Streetlight to the left and light from house on the right were bright at night but only noticed from outside. Def will stay again!

Fabulous spot on the beach

This was our second time at this property. The house itself is simple, but clean and functional. For us, the great feature of the home is the huge private deck right on the boardwalk/beach. It is the perfect spot for morning coffee, grilling dinner, watching the sunset and even seeing dolphins. Our kids loved the sand toys and being able to get to the beach so quickly to play. Owner is very responsive. Boardwalk is busy during the day, but settles down and very quiet at night. Would definitely recommend this property.

Ocean FRONT Experience

You can not beat the views and experience! The condo is literally a diamond jewel with the BEST deck on the boardwalk. Most decks are “shared” with others above you with can become awkward…not this place! You have a huge private deck to enjoy the best weather and views…period!

Great Family Getaway

This house was perfect for our summer beach trip this year. You definitely can not beat the location! We had a great big patio where we ate breakfast every morning and saw some occasional pods of dolphins swim by, and after a fun filled morning at the beach, we walked 50 steps back to the house for lunch. We have two little ones and it was nice to be able to head back to the house for bathroom breaks and afternoon naps. There was no AC in the house, but when we were at the house, we kept the windows and door open, it cooled the house down and it wasn’t a problem. It actually got a little chilly at night. They do have tons of fans if it gets too hot. We could have used a few more dishes, but we didn’t mind washing dishes after every meal. We will definitely rent here again.

Great Vacation Spot

We were so happy with the property. Location is amazing and we could walk down the boardwalk to most of our favorite places. Everything else was a very easy and usually short drive. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. The deck is a great place to sit and relax and the ability to walk right out to the water whenever you want is the best part. We will definitely stay again if the property is available when we visit again.
