The house was perfect and stocked with everything we needed. Comfy seating in the den and so clean! We were thrilled with how close it was to the beach, literally a 2 minute walk. We'll definitely stay there again.

I can't say enough good things about this property. The home was lovely, fully stocked with anything you might need. Communication with our host was helpful and prompt. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and being able to hang out with us on the deck. Furniture was very comfortable, as were the beds. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting oak island.

Great location near beach access, quiet neighborhood, well-stocked home. Lovely porch with rocking chairs and cool breezes. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is clean, comfortable, nicely maintained and well equipped. Located just a short walk away from the beach. We enjoyed fishing, lots of shelling and even a free concert at the park just a few blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet. The beach was not overly crowded. There are beach access points with pay parking every block or so. Also close by is a skate park, slash pad/ playground, fishing pier, 2 fresh seafood shops, huge candy store w/arcade, several ice cream shops, restaurants/bars with live music, dollar general, grocery store and souvenir shops. Plenty to keep you entertained!

We had a wonderful time again during our latest stay here. The house is always clean and well-kept, is in a great location, and is very affordable. The owner, Gail, does a wonderful job at making sure you have everything you need for your stay. Our dogs love the fenced backyard and the short walk to the beach. We highly recommend Tuesday Afternoon and are already looking forward to returning next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and comfortable. Our family and goldendoodle felt right at home. We loved that the beach access was less than 2 blocks away. Our host was very pleasant and helpful.

The house was clean and stocked with everything you need. The host also had toys for small children too which my son absolutely had a blast with. The walk to the beach was very short and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely recommend this house. We look forward to coming back in the future!

We had a great time with our 3 kids at Oak Island. Gail was very responsive and the house was even nicer in person than in the pictures. It was well stocked in the kitchen with dishes, storage containers, quality cookware and utensils, etc. There are small appliances as well. We didn't use most of it, but it was nice to know it was available. The fenced in yard is huge and the beach was only a few minutes away (a few minutes while lugging beach chairs, tent and toys, with kids 9 yr, 6 yr and 7 mo). We liked being off the main road since our 9 & 6 yr old loved playing in the rock driveway, and we sat on the front porch often (ate most meals on the porch because it was comfortable and functional). We would stay here again if we wanted to go to OKI.

Host was very accommodating. Lots of beautiful shells on the beach at this location. House in a good location just off the beach w/out paying oceanfront prices. Kitchen well stocked and front porch was enjoyable too. Heard ocean waves breaking at bedtime. Huge back fenced in yard for your poochie was a bonus.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! There was nothing fancy about it, but that didn’t bother us in the slightest. The house was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay (including a crockpot). We absolutely loved the outdoor shower, and there were even a few nice beach chairs available for us to use.The walk to the beach was super quick and easy, and our family had an absolute blast.One thing to note is that you’ll need to bring your own sheets and towels. This wasn’t a problem for us—we just didn’t realize it when we first booked. Thankfully, our host reminded us before our trip, which we really appreciated. Just be aware of that when booking.

Great HOUSE

We had a great time the weather was great and the grandkids had a wonderful time this was our fifth time staying there and we hope to be back next year.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Communication was excellent; the house was clean and stocked with everything we could have needed. Location wise, it is very close the the beach access point, very easy walk. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Oak Island.
