Two-story house with two bedrooms and one-and-one-half baths, sleeps four comfortably (an Aerobed is available).

This is the perfect house for an ocean getaway. Only steps from the beach, this freshly-remodeled home has a walk-around deck with an ocean view from the 'front porch.' Pick your relaxation - sit and sip on the deck while watching the activity at one of the Santa Cruz area's favorite beaches, or gather the beach chairs (provided) and the kids to enjoy being outside on this beautiful, long, wide, setting where the ocean meets the land!

Upstairs is the living area with a front room, kitchen, eating counter, and half bath. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bath. The entire house has been renovated with granite kitchen and bathroom counter tops, new kitchen appliances, cabinets, and amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Just the right size, not too big, not too small!

Picnic table on the deck along with a gas barbecue. Master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and twin on top. Cable Flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD, Free WiFi. Shower outside in the carport for getting the sand out!

Ideal for holiday stay

My wife and 6 month old son stayed for 2 weeks. Short walk to beach. More spacious than expected. Very clean.

Loved this place!

We had a great 5 day stay visiting our son. The property is very clean and close to the beach! We particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace in the cozy living room and the well stocked kitchen for preparing meals! The property is also conveniently located to Aptos Village. We hope to stay again!

Awesome location!

Me and my girlfriends had a great time! The place was well-maintained and very clean. It is one block from the beach and a great area with a very cool vibe!

Relaxing Getaway!

My husband and I spent five nights here. Our only disappointment was leaving. It was such a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house could easily accommodate it few more people. Very clean and will stocked. The location was perfect - close to the beach with a lovely view We hope to stay again!

Charming home and great location!

Such a charming home! It was perfect for just the two of us but could easily accommodate another couple as it has two bedrooms. Great location with a view of the beach from the deck. From hiking to dinner in Carmel, everything one could want to do was an easy drive or short walk away. Bonus on our last evening in that from the deck, we watched a firework show from Santa Cruz!

So perfect!

This house and its location was absolutely perfect! Very clean and well stocked. Amazing decks that were so fun to hang out on. The host was wonderful to coordinate with! We hope to return one day.

Great trip

Really enjoyed this spot! Morning coffee and afternoon wine on the top deck was great. Being able to walk to Venus for dinners. Really fantastic spot! Only minor piece of feedback would be that the mattresses are not very comfortable, but in the grand scheme of things, very minor detail that didn’t have a big impact on the trip!

Lovely as always

We've stayed at this property a few times, and always enjoy coming back. The house is clean, well-appointed, and comfortable all around. Location is also great - beach is just a few minutes walk away, easy drive to local attractions (Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Carmel, Monterey, etc). Owner is also very thoughtful and responsive. Thanks for another great stay!

Fun and comfortable!

It was a great experience for the whole family and convenient being walking distance to the beach and a perfect kitchen space and outdoor grill to save costs on meals. The house has a view of the ocean from the front deck and provides a very cozy space after adventures to Monterey and Santa Cruz. Great for a family or a couple! I recommend this VRBO and we will definitely be staying here again!

Love this place!

Our 3rd time staying here, and it was our best yet. Weather was amazing, so we were able to take full advantage of the 3 minute walk to the beach (really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella!). This property really has everything you need - super clean, comfortable, and just feels like a wonderful oasis for relaxation the moment you walk in. The owner was accommodating and thoughtful, as usual. We really do love this place!

Perfect beach house

My family (husband, two daughters, and I) stayed at Mike and Cricket’s property for 3 nights. It was a perfect jumping off point for exploring the Central Coast. Beds and couches were comfy, kitchen stocked, lots of cozy little touches. I wish we could have spent more time in the house. Loved having ocean views. We had great food at Pixie’s across the street, and had ice cream twice at Marianne’s (2 min drive). We had a great stay!

Clean & cozy beach house

We spent 4 days at this property while visiting the area and we would recommend it to other families. Our family of 3 had the place to ourselves with more than enough space to stretch out and relax. The house was very clean and well furnished, and had the kitchen supplies we needed to prepare meals while we were there. The proximity to the beach was great - about a 5 min walk - so we spent a good portion of each day by the water. The rental process was simple and access to the home was very convenient. Thank you to hosts Cricket and Mike for a very pleasant stay.

Clean, easy and beautiful place to stay

We loved staying here! This was one of the only vacation homes we’ve stayed in that wasn’t full of tchotchkes to break or knock over on accident, but still tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor shower has warm water and so nice to use after a day at the beach! The upstairs deck wraps all the way around the house, and makes a perfect racetrack for a toddler. Very comfy beds, well-stocked with condiments from past guests, and 10/10 communication from hosts. We plan on coming back!

Awesome stay in Aptos!

House was super clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed. We had such a comfortable and relaxing stay. Location was fantastic - short walk to gorgeous beach (we went every day, sometimes twice a day!), and easy access to stores, restaurants. Owners were also super nice - very communicative. Let us know about a small issue right before we arrived - didn't affect our stay at all but we appreciated the heads up. Overall, this was one of the best properties we've ever stayed at. Perfect for a small family. A few days in, we were already planning our next visit!
