Cute little house

Was good except needed a little upkeep: 2 clean bathrooms but 1 toilet wouldn’t flush, no hand soap, some residual black dog hair on bedroom floor, a broken cabinet hinge on door in kitchen, no central heat but fireplace in living room is a heater so front area of house warm but 2 bedrooms chilly at night. Otherwise very cute fairly well appointed little house.

Comfortable!

We found this little house to be the perfect size for 3 adults. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and baths were nice! Enjoyed the aquarium passes! A quiet neighborhood and it didn't take long to get to the many places we wanted to go! It was Christmas week, so I can understand the lack of responses to questions but it would have been nice to have better communication and the one replacement lightbulb we requested upon arrival. The heating situation worked out well, but we were a little concerned upon arrival, perhaps more clarity on the heating that is included in the stay.

Perfect house!

Perfect little house. Everything was well stocked, close to all the fun stuff- loved the included passes to the aquarium! We spent all day there.

Great time staying here

My family stayed here for a few nights with our 2 dogs and had a great time. The location is close to many fun attractions like ice skating and beautiful towns. Also, since we took our dogs to a nearby park our girls had a blast playing at the playground. It's in a neighborhood close to parks, stores, gas stations, etc. Also, I loved the artwork and light-color decor. Going to the Aquarium was lots of fun too.

Seaside Bungalow getaway

This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow was updated/remodeled and quite comfortable. Great coffee maker! Mattresses seemed relatively new (always a bonus!) Our stay turned out to be during an unusual heat wave, so we wished there had been AC, but perhaps this is usually not a problem in that area. The only not so ideal things were that the exterior patio was quite dirty, the trash barrels were fully covered in cobwebs, wasp nests and spiders. And the welcome notebook wasn't all that "welcoming". We had hoped for a few restaurant suggestions, tips on where the local market was. Instead there was a 6-7 page "inventory" list, which was intimidating because at least 50% of those items were NO LONGER inside the home. With a cleaner exterior and an updated, helpful welcome book, we'd have given 5 stars.

nice house - unwelcoming neighbors

The house met our needs, but I did not feel safe walking the neighborhood alone. I felt trapped in the house. Upon our arrival, the neighbor across the street shouted, "Hi Renter. You need to back into the driveway. Look at the sign" He then planted himself in a chair a watched as my husband navigated the difficult the enter driveway. BY THE WAY - it is obviously easier to get out of the driveway, when you park head in first. The neighbors car is in direct shot of backing out. He will watch you. The two day later, I was walking our dog to the park one black over and was completely harrassed and yelled at by a very angry man. He accussed me of not picking up my dogs poop from across the street. I told him that my dag has not pooped, that I was on my way to the park with her STROLLER, and told him to come over to where I was and look for himself. He then followed me, yelling at me, threatening to call the police. I told him to "Please do so, for I feel threatened and would like to file a complaint" When I got back to the house, my husband was very upset to hear what I went through with this altercation. He went to speak with the man, he was no where to be found, Just harassing me, a 65 year old women walking their little white dog. I felt so unsafe, not sure if he was going to hurt me, I am shaking writing this. BTW. This was 10 in the morning. Would I return to Seaside. NO WAY.

Perfect Place for Girls week away

We needed a place near our friend taking care of her Great Aunt so we could get together and visit. This place was perfect. Very well stocked with what is needed, clean, and perfect size for us.

Monterey vacation

We had a wonderful time in Monterey! This vrbo was excellent!! It has a great location to everything we wanted to do (driving). The house itself was clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed making 2 meals and eating on the outdoor patio.

Seaside Stay

Super Experience! Home was clean, kitchen VERY nicely furnished with those things you always need when you cook (the salt, pepper, oil, aluminum foil - not all places supply those!) Mattresses comfy, linens wonderful. Great layout and quiet residential street. Would definitely stay here again (and Monterey under 20 minutes away!)

Short Beautiful vacation

Beautiful home has everything you need. Awesome location. Close to the beach and Monterey. The beds very comfortable! The shower is awesome. This is the second time staying here. Cant wait to Come back and stay again! come back and stay again!

Property run down

We were very disappointed about the condition of the property…The rug in the living room had several dirty spots on it.. the couch had 2 torn spots—the entry rug was pretty worn and the chairs were stained.. The outside furniture was in poor condition with some torn cushions. We could not have let our small dogs in the back yard due to the condition it was in with stuff laying around. There was also some pealing happening on the wall near the shower…The positive thing was the beds were very comfortable and clean…This place needs some tender loving care especially when you pay almost $1400 for 3 nights! Aquarium Stay

We were very happy with the bungalow and quick response from the owners. Our Ford F150 Electric truck was a little difficult to maneuver into the driveway backwards but we did it! We even found a quick charger near the Target where we shopped for groceries and the skateboard helmet my son forgot to pack. We came to see the aquarium so very appreciative to be given the 2 extra tickets! Comfy master bed and nice to have the two bathrooms for 4 adults. My only negative was there wasn't an extra sheet set for the couch for my son to sleep on, but he was ok with just the blankets. Also, the outside door frame and backyard patio could have used a spider web brush off! First time vrbo-ers and we loved our stay! Thank you, Kathleen E.

Very comfortable!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay with our family of 4. The house provided everything we needed. It was close to everything we wanted to do but also comfortable enough to stay in and relax after full days of exploring. Mal’s Market in the neighborhood has excellent sandwiches. Appreciated the owners leaving the passes to the aquarium also.

A great Monterey getaway

This little bungalow was just perfect for our visit which was the graduation of my oldest grandson from CSUMB. There was ample space for the six of us to share a first night dinner together and great outdoor sitting areas when the sun shone. The bungalow was so well stocked with everything one would need. And the location was so favorable to enjoy Monterey and Carmel outings. Fabulous!
