Effortless and joyful stay! We appreciated the clean well stocked kitchen, outdoor views and smooth checkin process. Thankful to find such a comfortable pet friendly home that provided an excellent base for our adventures to the rims of Black Canyon.

I don’t even know where to start. I chose this property because of its privacy and seclusion. We needed a break, although it was short, it was absolutely perfect. The house is well stocked and the check in process was a breeze. You can tell the hosts take great care in their presentation of the property and everything was exactly as described. The only wish, we had more time. I absolutely fell in love with Colorado and the Montrose area. We will be back with the rest of the kiddos to enjoy some time exploring the area more. Book the stay, you’ll be glad you did. From my family to yours, Thank you for the wonderful retreat! Also, Starvin’ Arvins has amazing breakfast!

Very nice place and close to everything we wanted to do. Felt very much like a home away from home. Because of the drought the lake was a little low but was still beautiful and would love to see the property when not in drought. We enjoyed watching the geese and other water birds on our walks around the lake. The sunsets over the lake are amazing.

The check-in and check out process was smooth with clear instructions. When we arrived, there were complimentary snacks on the dining room table and the hosts also gave us complimentary dozen eggs from their chickens. There was a great laundry area and plenty of space for our family of 6 to sleep, eat and relax during our stay. The hosts were very responsive to questions during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay here with our pup. The place was so comfortable, well stocked, clean and the view of the sunset from the back deck was amazing. Jason was very responsive and offered to provide us with information about things to do. We definitely will be back again. Other reviews mentioned the state of the rest of the neighborhood, but honestly, you don't even see it once you are on the property and was a non-issue.
