Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were generally satisfied with the location of the property and the cleanliness of it. The property is far from the beach so a golf cart and/or bikes would have been helpful. A small pack of coffee filters, a working ice maker , a couple extra trash bags , and a microwave that could be opened without having to pry open the door with fingernails would have been appreciated. Also, the dining room chairs have seen better days! We could barely sit on them due to the lack of padding. Communication with management company was fine although greater details would have been good, e.g. trash pickup days, access onto Watersound Beach . The fob for the gate didn’t work for us. Information sent out prior to arrival should be checked for accuracy to minimize questions. We found the management company responsive.

house good, neighborhood great location and quiet

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was good, the furnishings, bedding and decor was cheep, but house itself very nice and there was enough kitchen supplies for cooking. Loved the quiet pretty neighborhood. Could not use the top bunk unless you have a child under 100 pounds, so we could not use it. Pool rules ridiculous that a big 4 year old has to wear a diaper in the pool and we were there a week and the pool restaurant was NEVER open selling food. We did go to the pizza place and it was great. Easy access to the door code. The house was very clean with towels tied up nice, although outside porches were full of pollen and dust and no clean places to sit. Good parking access for 2 cars, maybe 3. The rental co. called once when we were out shopping to tell us that we only had 15 minutes to remove the towels from the front porch or we would get a fine! I had no idea it was against the rules as I look back through the paperwork and still do not see it written anywhere in the paperwork. Maybe instead of a threatening 15 min fine call, a call to remove them when we had a chance would have been nice of them so we did not have to cut our shopping trip short and rush back and take the towels off the metal bar (that we thought was put up for towels, what else would the bar on top of the railing be for?). Also, there was no code listed for the gate house lock box in the paperwork, so we sat outside trying to call someone before I finally guessed the code, then later they responded with a text with the code. The only other thing is that they need 2 outside trashcans, 1 is just not big enough for a large party. I absolutely loved the small carriage house, it was perfect for one or two people, had a full small kitchen with tiny dishwasher, tiny refrigerator, tiny oven and all. Overall it was a great week and we would definitely stay in the neighborhood again, not necessarily in this house.

Great Location-Gated-Safe-Fully Equipped Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was very clean, simply decorated, fresh bedding, nicely equipped kitchen. Gated and easy to get to the beach. We had 14 people, the biggests Pros - It was very clean and roomy. Access to boardwalks, community pool & playground was super easy. Bruno's pizza is across the street. The Cons that we ran into - Dining table only seated 6 people - we ate in shifts, which worked out okay, but would have preferred to have had seating for 8 adults. If TV is your thing - the bedrooms to my knowledge are not smart tv's - but the living room was a smart tv. last Con is the parking. 1 space on street - we had 4 vehibles so we juggled 3 cars around when peoole needed to leave for awhile. I have stayed inside of the Watersound Community more than a dozen times. This home meets all the citeria we needed as a large family and would recommend this home to others. Note to all renters: Enjoy the porches -- They were wonderful and there are a few to enjoy! Also, carriage house was nicely equipped with everything we needed.
