SPEND A RELAXING AND AFFORDABLE WEEK ON THE BEAUTIFUL OUTER BANKS OF NORTH CAROLINA.

Our new home is located at Jockey's Ridge, MP 11.5 and just minutes from public beach accesses in the heart of Nags Head, close to shopping, dining, and recreational options. The nearest beach access is at Hollowell Street and is within one mile. The Bonnett Street access is also nearby and has shower facilities which are especially convenient when traveling with children. Cable TVs in living room, master and den, WiFi, phone, central air, W/D, dishwasher. 3 bedrooms (2 Qn, 1 w/2 Tw) plus a lower level rec room/den with sleep sofa, 3 full baths. Books, DVDs, sand toys. Jockey's Ridge is easily accessible from the neighborhood, and the sunsets are unforgettable... It is an easy bike ride (not provided, must bring own or rent) or a moderate walk.
We strive to make this a comfortable home for our guests and are firm in requiring renters
to follow these instructions:
No pets (owner allergies), non-negotiable.
No smoking, please.
FAMILY GROUPS ONLY, MUST BE AGE 24 OR OLDER TO RENT.
The house will be professionally cleaned during peak season, June-August and possibly during off season depending on availability.
Rents SUNDAY to SUNDAY, or edited Sunday arrival dates.

***Please note that renters shall provide their own towels and bed linens (pillows provided). ***

Owner will provide home access instructions via email approx. 1 week-10 days prior to check-in.

Unless otherwise stated in your reservation, check-in time is 4:00 p.m., checkout time is 11:00 am.

The Outer Banks are naturally beautiful... unspoiled beaches, protected wildlife habitats, amazing sunsets, historic lighthouses and homes. All are made even better when shared on family vacations!

Great short Fishing Vacation

Very nice house. The home had enough pots, pans, cooking ware and dishes. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The owner was prompt in answering any questions and very nice. The walk to the sand dunes was short and very picturesque. We would stay there again! Thanks !

OBX Vacation

We really loved our stay and liked the property. The location was fantastic and check in was easy with clear directions. The only negatives that we found was that we had to supply our own toilet paper, towels, sheets, trash bags, and there was no ice in the freezer. Having to pack and even buy all that extra stuff was burdensome. Other than that, everything else was fantastic.

Great place to stay

Property was just as advertised. Great price for a great place in the heart of nags head. Park trails in the neighborhood. Shade while jogging the neighborhood and riding bikes. We would stay here again.

Great Stay!!!!

When we are arrived the listing was as expected. The location is in a nice neighborhood. It is a very short drive to the public beach access. The house was very clean. This place felt like home.

Nice layout for family traveling with in laws

The property was very conveniently located to multiple public beach access options less that a mike away as well as plenty of dining and shopping options. Very clean and spacious and overall in very good condition. Property manager was responsive to inquiries. Felt like we got excellent value and will definitely look to stay here again soon.

Great Experience

Very clean, roomy, well equipped and welcoming! The location was great as we were close to everything we needed and the cottage was setup well for the family experience. So many great things to see and do within close proximity. Lacy was accessible and very kind! We look forward to staying here again!

Summer trip

Pro’s….plenty of space for a family at a reasonable price. Beaches are close in any direction and back access to Jockey’s Ridge is very convenient for sunsets. Con’s….highway traffic never stops 20 yards behind house, could use a garden hose to rinse beach stuff, a few home maintenance items need addressed.

Close to Everything

We enjoyed our fun and relaxing stay. The house was clean, well maintained, and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. The beach is a short drive away and parking was always available at the many public beach access points. You can walk to the beach, but have to factor in a slightly longer route by going to an intersection and using the crosswalks. It is a busy road with 2 lanes in each direction. Our host had great recommendations for things to do outside of going to the beach. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Annual getaway!

It's been six years since my adult son & I went to Nags Head. We used to go every year. My son is an adult with disabilities but loves the beach. Friends & family were also staying in other places and we were able to spend a week of great time with them, eating amazing food, and just relaxing. The home was lovely. I only marked it 4 stars for cleaning because the cleaning crew should have vacuumed the stairs leading up from the entry level and I noticed they did not dust under the coffee table. They also left wet towels in the kitchen sink, that I later washed. The rest was very clean and as described.

Flying Pirate Half Marathon weekend 2023

The house is in a great location for our purpose to visit. It was clean and tidy upon arrival and we made sure to leave it as we found it. Kitchen was stocked with ample dishes and kitchen needs.Will definitely stay again if the house is available when we visit again.

Necessary supplies very poor.

This is the first place we have stayed that had no toilet paper, no dish soap, no paper towels and no trash liners. Also the unit backed up to a major four lane highway that caused constant traffic noise day and night. We also had to supply our own bed linens and bath towel. Lucky we were not flying to this location.

We have been traveling to the Outer Banks since the mid 80s and have spent summer vacations from South Nags Head to Corolla. This is the second time we have purchased a home here; we sold our first house in 2000 when our children became involved in sports and church/community activities which prohibited a flexible travel schedule. Our 'children' are now young adults and we are thrilled to be back in the neighborhood! They help us with the maintenance/cleaning which is an added benefit. Our hope is that they and their future families will enjoy making wonderful memories in this beautiful beach community...
