The place is on safe street very close to the tourist attractions in Madrid. Has a lot of restauraunts in the vicinity. I would say the street is silent with not a lot of vehicular or foot traffic. However given that the apartment opens literally on the street be aware that you will hear folks talk while walking past until quite late night. Also some amount street light seeps though into the apartment. Note that this wasnt a concern for us though.

Location location location! It's as close as you can be to the action. Everything was walkable. Quite a bit of noise at night. But we were so tired, we slept through it.The only thing that I would note, there is a musty smell when you first walk in the unit. The towels smelled musty too. It's a good thing I bought my own towel. But overall, I'd stay there again.

Perfect location!

Excellent property, in the perfect location - close to everything. Finding parking was a little tough, but an easy walk to everything once we did. The host communicated well and did a great job describing the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Spouse and I stayed here. Location is fantastic. Steps to all the major sights on that end of the city. Noisy at night bc it is immediately off of the sidewalk/street. Could use some basic maintenance but it worked ok.

This rental had an amazing location, with walking distance to almost anything we wanted to experience in Madrid! There were a few hiccups with the place, including trouble with the code to get in, issues with the toilet running, and the shower only had very hot water. But the place was clean and spacious.

Property has everything , small supermarket a few steps away . Sofa bed it’s not confortable . There parking close by but it’s expensive $36 Euros per night . I will recommend this place for a young couple since it’s walkable and a lot of places to see .

great location, loud car traffic all hours of the night

Location is great, close to everything downtown. Place is a little noisy, you can hear street sounds well. Saturday night party crowd was quite tolerable, after all just people having a good time. Cars speeding over the cobble stones at all hours of the night in the narrow street were loud and more disruptive. Hosts were great and responsive in communicating, place was clean.

The location of this VRBO can't be beat. In the heart of it all! The host was very responsive to our questions. This VRBO has a comfortable queen size bed. The sofa pull-out is between a twin and a double and not very comfortable. My daughter ended up just sleeping on the sofa which was fine since she is not too tall.

Location, location. This property is an easy walk to many of the sites of interest in Madrid. The studio apartment was damp, the finishing was crude. Neither of us could figure out the hot water in the shower. I will say that the location made our staying where we were worth the stay.

Small but just right

The apartment is quite small, I slept in the sleeper sofa which wasn't as comfortable as the bed. The shower is hard to work, the hot and cold handles needed to be in exactly the right spot to get warm water. But overall, it was a fine place to stay for 3 night.
