Red House close to @Accademia Bridge

The access to the apartment is by a luxurious independent staircase leading to the vestibule, illuminated by a typical mullioned window.

From here you enter a large room-study-library with comfortable sofas and satellite TV.

Continuing, we find a bright dining room embellished by the Doge (the iconic table of the great architect Carlo Scarpa) and open onto a well-equipped kitchen.

The corridor leads to two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, one with a shower. Also from the corridor leads to the walk-in closet in front of the 2 double bedrooms with very high ceilings and to the staircase that goes up to the attic where there are 2 single beds; it is lit from above by a large electric skylight.

Red House is suitable for families and groups of friends.

Beautiful place with a great location. The apartment is very spacious. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of space. The 3rd bedroom was at the top of narrow stairs - very difficult to bring luggage up or navigate but good for children. We would consider this place again.

Such a great place for a large family! Fantastic communication and very gracious with our delayed arrival troubles. We were unfortunately caught in a torrential downpour and were met with umbrellas and kindness. We felt like we were living in Venice, as the home was not only located on a canal it was like it stepped right out of a book. So beautiful and comfortable.Highly recommend!

Excellent location! Dorsoduro is a peaceful neighborhood in Venice. The Red House is on a canal and close to San Marco, The Academia, The Guggenheim. Restaurants are nearby. Nico’s is great for gelato!

We loved our stay at the Red House, we just wish we had a few more days to enjoy Venice! Once we got better at navigating the canals and bridges, we really enjoyed the island. So much food, shopping, drinks, etc. Communicating with our host was fast and thorough, as well! They were so patient when waiting for us when we got on the wrong vaporetto and it took us longer to arrive. Very understanding. We were also pleasantly surprised to have air conditioning!! A large apartment with plenty of room for our family of 5. Highly recommend!

Very special place that i would stay in again in a heartbeat! Great for our family of 4, spotless, and in between two canals in a quiet area that is also next to interesting places (e.g., art museum). The only thing I didn't like was that the cleaning crew arrived before check out.

Our Venice Haven

Our time in Venice was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed our stay the Red House. We enjoyed being near enough to walk to almost everything but on a quiet canal. The house was beautiful, clean and plenty big enough for our family of 6. We highly recommend staying here.
