Perfect location!

The property is very comfortable and is a fantastic location to the water taxis, shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. We loved our visit! Martina met us at the water taxi and guided us to the apartment. Very nice property, and a real Venice experience!

Great location off the main tourist routes. Large, clean apartment. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Only drawback is that the apartment description states a washer/dryer, but it's only a washer. Not a good thing if you were counting on a dryer being available. Still, I highly recommend staying here.

Great Vacation

We were a family of six adults. We had plenty of space. Our host set up our transportation to/from the airport and met us at our water taxi when we arrived. The location was great and we met several of the local people working close by. They made us feel welcomed and readily answered our questions.

This apartment was a wonderful! There was plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out. It was in a great location - less than a 10 minute walk from Piazza San Marco and less than 5 minutes from a main Vaporetto stop. Everything was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well (yay!) and the washer was easy to use (no dryer, but that is customary). It was steps from several restaurants and bakeries. Closing the shutters kept the street noise down - we did not have any trouble sleeping. It was very secure - the street door to the building always locked and there are 2 doors to get into the apartment itself. Our host met us there and was easy to communicate with. She also set up a glass tour on Murano for us. It was fantastic and would highly recommend for anyone staying in Venice for a few days.

Very good nights rest

Vacation village was a good backup for us when we couldn’t find lodging in Williamstown. Just about 15 minutes to get to places we were going - Target, Williams college, restaurant. The only drawback was the hot plate which is very challenging to use if you’re used to a stove. If you don’t plan to cook much, it’s fine. Easy to heat up water for tea for example. The towels and bedding were fresh, super clean, and beautiful - couldn’t have been any whiter! The laundry area was super clean and conveniently located. The machines were free and did the job efficiently. We would recommend Vacation Village.

Gute Wohnung mit gewöhnungsbedürftiger Einrichtung

Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut, nicht gerade ruhig aber günstig im Viertel Castello gelegen, dicht an den Schiffsanlegern. Auch die Größe der Wohnung ist angenehm, ebenso der Schnitt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig fanden wir die recht altbackene Einrichtung, die z.T. auch etwas lieblos war (Beleuchtung, Deko etc.). Der Balkon ist nur ein 25cm Austritt und verdient den Namen eigentlich nicht. Trotzdem haben wir uns nach kurzer Eingewöhnung wohl gefühlt. Ra

Lovely Apartment

The apartment was perfect. We were three single people and there was plenty of room. I like to cook, and I bake desserts for Venetian friends. I brought a few kitchen items with me, but the kitchen came equipped with all the basic needs. The beds were quite comfortable. While there was a little street noise, it did not bother us at all. I love the Castello neighborhood and visit every year. This was the nicest apartment I have found and I hope I can return again soon.
