What a great place this is. Accommodation was great. Super convenient location and the garage, yes it’s tight but so handy, especially when vintage car rally was in town.

Perfect girls getaway

I stayed here with my mother and two sisters for our annual girls trip and it was perfect. Great location, (we walked to the beach, to shop, and even to Shadowbrook), perfect sized condo and beautiful weather. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. Property was clean and as described. We had trouble finding the place and our van couldn’t fit in the garage space but property manager was easy to contact and helpful. The street parking pass worked just fine for us.

Excellent location! Great for a girl’s weekend. You can walk everywhere & never move your car. Well appointed and comfortable. The management company was immediately responsive to a a few questions, exceptionally helpful and very accommodating!

Best Location in Capitola

The condo is right off of the main street and less than a block from the beach. But you are tucked away so when you are inside or enjoying the great deck area, you have all the peace and quiet you could want. We spent a day in Santa Cruz which was fun but we could have just as easliy stayed in town and enjoyed the beach and restaurants. It is very easy walking distance to everything and never needed our car in town.

Capitola GetAway

We had an amazing time in Capitola. The place was exactly as stated. We only had a little problem finding the best way to get to the garage which was a tight fit but perfect as once we parked, we were able to walk everywhere. Also, the owner kindly offers a street parking pass which was awesome if you had two cars. The place was roomy, clean and so comfortable. The owners were so quick to answer any questions. It’s rare to have the place exceed your expectations but this did. Can’t wait to go back. Perfect for a girls’ trip.

Great location and property. Garage is for small cars only. Working to put the TV back in the master bedroom. I would add a hand rail for the steps for older folks dangerous in the dark. Overall perfect location great two bedroom two bath property. Everything work clean convenient. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Joanne.

Wonderful stay in Capitola

This is a very nice home in the heart of Capitola. The location is perfect - easy walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable and provided everything that we needed. The garage is basically un-usable for parking due to the size and angle at which you need to drive into it, but we were always able to find street parking close by. The only improvement I would strongly suggest is new twin mattresses in the first bedroom. They are very creaky/squeaky with every movement and made sleeping difficult for my kids. Otherwise this is the perfect place to stay in Capitola!

The photos don't do it justice

This is a very very nice apartment. Much nicer than the photos reveal. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend to anyone. Minor points: the garage is VERY small, but the company provides a parking pass for the street in front (don't park on the Main Street with it though, that is not permitted with the permit). Really could use some blackout blinds. Not sure why places don't have them as standard. Besides these two points we loved the place, one block to the beach and restaurants and Capitola is very cute and quaint. We has A LOT of fun and will be back!!

We had a great time on the second half of our honeymoon. The proximity to shops and beach is difficult to beat. There are plenty of friendly beach folk out and about at all times. If you are looking for a beachy spot, this is exactly that.The garage was quite small, but was even harder to get into because of the small alley area in which it resides. We used it as a loading zone only for that reason. The parking pass was helpful, though it was usually difficult to find street parking, though we always eventually found it.There was an odd smell outside near the parking that came and went during our stay. It never made it into the unit, but we encountered it each time we came or went through the alley. One of the garages under the bedroom windows was open and fully filled with trash and recycling bins. It seems to be the gathering spot for all bins in the area. A few times we were woken up late at night and early in the morning by people throwing bottles or other loud trash into one of those bins. There is also no view of any sort. Most windows look out to other windows of adjacent units. We kept the windows closed. There was a live rock band playing next to our unit one night for a few hours, but ended just before we went to bed.That said, we loved our stay and would return. We had excellent walks all the way into downtown Santa Cruz and to the local shops and beaches. The wine bar half a block away was also a great place to hang out when we didn’t want to drive.

Perfect Capitola beach home

We would definitely stay here again. We visited for three nights (Fri-Sun) in October (weekend, so the beach scene was busy, but not quite as intense as summer/high season). Steps to shops, restaurants, beach, surfing. Right in the middle of the Capitola bustle, but surprisingly quiet inside the home -- windows face onto a private courtyard. Large, modern, comfortable 2/2 home on second floor. Entrance on a shared, private courtyard with an outside shower -- handy for rinsing off sand and salt. A fair number of steepish steps to enter the home; be advised, if mobility is an issue. Inside is one level. Parking is a 1-car garage that is down a narrow alley. Getting in and out takes lots of backing and forthing; helps to have two people. Gets easier with practice. Prius fit fine; larger vehicle would be a challenge. A permit for street parking is provided, too. The garage is located a short, flat walk to the stairs to the unit, so unloading is easy. Inside the garage are beach chairs, an umbrella and a sand wagon. Interior laundry room is a nice bonus. Great range of TV options, including Apple TV. If pushed to find any shortcomings, it would be that there are a lot of paint chips in the wall plaster that need repair. An off note in this otherwise well-appointed home.
