Retro Cool Beach Bungalow, Maison unifamiliale, cour privée, vue sur l'océan Peek

Bungalow à concept ouvert à deux lits / deux salles de bain (pas un condo) situé directement de l'autre côté du boulevard du Golfe, à partir de l'accès à la plage !!!

Nous avons acheté cette maison avec notre propre famille à l'esprit. Nous voulions un espace pour nous tous seuls (c’est-à-dire sans condos) avec suffisamment d’espace pour que nos trois enfants puissent jouer, tout en étant plus près de la plage que la moyenne des places de stationnement sur l’île. L'endroit que nous appelons affectueusement "The Beach Pit" convient parfaitement!

Ce bungalow de 50 ans a été construit à l'époque où la plupart des structures insulaires n'existaient pas. Pour nous, cela signifiait que c'était l'une des rares maisons non situées dans une zone inondable; pour vous, cela signifie qu’il a été l’un des terrains privilégiés de l’île, juste à côté de la plage!

Vous allez adorer le fait que vous pouvez traverser la rue en utilisant notre chariot de plage pratique et être directement à la plage! Vous apprécierez également de pouvoir vous garer dans notre port de voiture couvert à deux pas de votre porte. Plus besoin de transporter tous vos jouets et vos bagages sur un parking chauffé, seulement pour constater que l'ascenseur est en panne! Les escaliers et les situations de stationnement inacceptables ont été une véritable affaire pour notre famille, et nous sommes certains que vous apprécierez le confort de notre maison.

Bien que âgé de 50 ans, vous ne vous sentirez certainement pas dans une impasse. Vous apprécierez le nouveau mobilier Ikea (en 2018) et les matelas les plus confortables sur lesquels vous avez dormi! Il y a aussi deux téléviseurs intelligents (49 "dans le salon et 32" dans une chambre), alors n'hésitez pas à regarder un peu de Netflix si vous avez eu trop de soleil. WiFi haut débit est également disponible avec une excellente connectivité dans toute la maison.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des casseroles, poêles et ustensiles de cuisine, ainsi que la vaisselle attendue. Il y a un barbecue à gaz sur le patio arrière pour cuisiner et siroter une boisson après le coucher du soleil.

This place is absolutely perfect!! Super cute, awesome location and great host!! We came with our German shepherd and the fenced in yard was so great!! Place is so cute just like in pics and proximity to beach sooo amazing. There are not enough words to express how great this place is!!

Loved this little red house on SPI. The yard was generously sized for our 2 large dogs. It is only a 3 minute walk to be on the sand and the beachThe kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, an Instapot, fryer, toaster, and a good assortment of pans and pots. Beds were comfortable There is a cart full of fun items that you can roll to the beach Would recommend to friends, family, and a return booking

The beach house was exactly as listed! Perfect location with a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. It included everything we needed and the yard was perfect for our dogs! We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spacious, clean, well-furnished home with all the appliances and kitchenware you could need. Located on a corner lot directly across from a beach access point. AC and laundry machines worked very well, and the backyard was plenty big for our dogs, with a huge deck. Beware that the deck gets very hot in the heat. Bike/golf cart rentals are available on the same street as this property, and a supermarket is just around the corner. Only criticism is that the hair dryer didn’t work.

My family had a wonderful week at the Beach Pit! Our 2 small dogs had a wonderful time in the fenced in back yard and we were able to walk across the street, onto the beach with them daily. Highly recommend this home!! Jacob was very responsive and everything went so smoothly. We also loved that SPI was so pet friendly! That is a huge deal to us bc of our babies. Hoping we will be able to go back sometime and would love to stay at the Beach Pit!!

As others have mentioned, there is some light wear. This is a beach area property, so some is expected. Wonderful is how we described the property and our experience. Conveniently located. Looking forward to staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Pit property. It was very spacious for a 2 bedroom/2 bath. It was really nice having a covered carport to park our car under during the heat of the day as well as at night. Our two small dogs loved playing in the backyard. The location of the property was super close to a public beach access, just cross the street and walk across a small parking lot to get to the boardwalk. The property owner was extremely easy to communicate with and promptly responded to our questions. We would stay here again.

Great home and location in South Padre

Our stay at the Beach Pit was amazing. Jacob was very responsive from booking to check out. Home is a great bungalow with vintage charm and amazing amounts of windows to let the sun in. Beach access located right across the street. If desire to hang out at the house there is a deck with fenced in back yard. If you want to spend a great vacation in a great home away from home I would pick the Beach Pit....hope to be back soon!

This place is a real score

For the frugal yet discerning traveler, you can't beat this cozy spot. It's just across the street from public beach access, and one block from beachfront dining (Palms Cafe--decent food and drinks overlooking the beach). The street and neighborhood are peaceful and quiet, it felt like a lot of locals and families would be living there. The casita itself is absolutely adorable and the perfect size for a group of friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics, and there is a big, beautiful table that would easily sit a party of eight. That said, we took all of our meals out back on the deck. The TV's have every entertainment platform imaginable, the furniture is comfortable and modern, the beds are heavenly, and the entire house is cleaned and well-maintained. One of our favorite features was all of the complimentary beach stuff provided by the owners. There was a beach wagon, umbrella, 2 beach chairs, and a bunch of boogie boards (such fun!!)--all stuff we would have had to rent otherwise. This is a thoughtful inclusion by the owners. Thank you for a great stay! We're coming back for sure.

We wanted to be closer to the beach than even the "beach front" condos, but we didn't want to hike up flights of stairs with our small kids and supplies. We wanted a fenced backyard, and we also wanted something "cool". It took us a while to find what we were looking for, but we're glad we waited!
