Bienvenue Ă  Hazel's Hideaway. Trois mois (90 jours) pour la saison 2020. À seulement neuf pĂątĂ©s de maisons de l'animation de la rue principale de Sarasota, les clients du cottage peuvent profiter d'un cadre privĂ© et serein au bord de la piscine et d'une piscine de 30 pieds pour la nage en longueur dans un quartier historique. Gillespie Park se trouve Ă  moins de deux rues de l’hĂŽtel, avec ses courts de tennis, ses terrains de basket, son parc pour chiens, son Ă©tang et son belvĂ©dĂšre. Cette charmante retraite qui accepte les animaux de compagnie est en fait une maison d'hĂŽtes indĂ©pendante situĂ©e dans un coin de rue fermĂ© et privĂ©, Ă  l'orĂ©e du quartier de Rosemary et du parc Gillespie. Chiens et chats bienvenus! Les animaux domestiques sont aussi des gens :)

The space was perfect for what we needed! It was clean with lots of efficiently stored amenities and the bed was very comfortable! It was great to have the luxury of a pool. The location is convenient to lots of attractions in the area. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it and stay again.

The cottage was very clean and full of amenities. There was a bottle of wine and cookies waiting for us on arrival, which was a very thoughtful and welcoming gesture. The booking process was very easy. Instructions provided were also easy to follow. We met the host on a brief encounter, and she seemed very sweet and wanted to make sure all was acceptable. She mentioned we could adjust the pool temperature if we needed to. Even though the hosts live on the same premises, our privacy was very respected and we had the salt water pool to ourselves. There were 3 of us, which included our 17 year old son. The rental was advertised as a 1 bedroom with a king bed, and a double sofa bed. It wasn’t actually a double sofa bed. It was a futon. It was a bit uncomfortable for my 6’2” son, but would sleep a smaller child just fine. There was a blow up air mattress in the bedroom closet my son could have used, but he chose not to.Overall, it was a very good experience and we would recommend the space for the right size family/couple.

Loved the pool and location!

Super cute, extremely clean property. My kids LOVED the personal pool. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Also close to the Legacy trail, my husband ran to it every day, and my kids had fun playing basketball at the nearby (walkable) park. We had such a great stay!

Close to downtown

Great place. Quiet. And walking distance to downtown. Enjoyed morning runs and the farmers market. Pool was a great touch. Will definitely stay here again.

Charming and a pool!

I thoroughly enjoyed this cute little place in Gillespie Park. The garden around the pool is beautiful. Quiet, clean and comfortable. I hope I can return!

So Great, We Already Booked it Again!

Hazel’s Hideaway is awesome. So awesome, that we immediately booked for next year. The property is well maintained and the private pool leaves you feeling like you’re staying at a resort. Our hostess Hazel was the best. She was full of suggestions in terms of where to go and her hospitality was five-star all around.

The pool was freezing and had way too much chlorine. Came all the way from Colorado and was expecting a house to accommodate for 6 people and it barely accommodated for 3. The property was very misleading online. There was no oven or stove top, there was a plug in with 2 burners and no pans. Thank god there was at least a air mattress that my 52 year old mother could sleep on. Rat/insect traps laying all over the place very accessible for small children to grab. No extra linens or bedding to even accommodate for the toddler size sofa bed, would NEVER recommend this property to anyone if you’re on vacation. Very unsatisfying.

Hazel's Hideaway A Slice of Heaven!

I stayed at Hazel's Hideaway for three days in early May. This is a perfect location for one or two people in Sarasota for business or pleasure. The design is well thought out and super comfortable. I really liked the pool and outdoor shower as well as the lovely landscaping. It is located on a quiet street minutes from downtown Sarasota. I come in to Sarasota for meetings three times a year and will definitely come back.

Summer getaway

Our experience as a whole was very satisfying. Pool was beautifully maintained and so were grounds. AC was very sufficient for hot summer August days. My family of 5 came to Sarasota looking for our forever home and stayed in this beautiful bungalow for 10 days while we made our dreams a reality. Would definitely recommend any family’s looking for a quite, cute and very conveniently located location especially to downtown and all the beaches!

Will return!

We loved Hazels Hideaway! The location & amenities were perfect!!! We will definitely be returning. We do regret not reporting the pool keeping when we arrived, as we found out on the weekly cleaning day that the pump hadn’t been on. However, we addressed it later & the response time & courtesy of the owner & representatives was 5 star. We can’t wait to return!

Hidden treasure

This place are quite,peaceful for people who want to have privacy or work at home way from home 
 Owner Hazel are lovely and goes extra step ..You really have all you need there and more .. I had my dog with me and she even offered to dog sitting when I went out one night 
 Pool are heated and lovely
Super clean place and safe.. You won’t be disappointed
 Can’t wait to go back there

In law apartment

So I arrived at 2pm when it told me on the information page to arrive at the own greeted me with what are you doing here , and that the place was not clean the cleaning girl was on her way we did not get in there until after 4 pm . The place was clean but the sheets that was in the closet was dirty. The pool was nice and the in law apartment only sleeps 4 , not 6 . there was a futon and a bed only. The owner peeked through the blinds and curtain while we was in the pool. Creepy.
