We had a wonderful stay! Property and condo were clean and functional. We werenât able to use the salt water pool because of high surf but thankfully the garden pool was available. Nice location, no complaints. Thank you!
The property is well maintained and quiet. The unit was clean. The bathrooms are dated and need some upgrading. When we arrived we had to calll for assistance to get our TV working as it wasnât programmed properly. This should have been attended to prior to our check in. We stayed during the Kona Low storm. They had to close both pools for maintenance and cleaning. The salt water pool is still closed and we leave today. The thermostat on the AC was not working so we went without for a day. The frig is older and the compressor motor would squeal intermittently. The unit is not stocked with any cooking basics (salt, pepper, etc.) Theirs is no assigned parking and it doesnât seem that there is one available per unit so you have to park outside the security gates.
This is an amazing place to stay. We traveled around the island quite a bit and this was a good home base to return to each afternoon. Many people gathered by the shoreline late each afternoon to watch the sunset and we listened to some people blowing on a conch shell to say good night to the sun. We enjoyed the salt and the fresh water pool but my Granddaughter mostly had us stay in the fresh water pool. When we first arrived the parking was a bit intimidating and we could not park near the condo to unload but I found that if we parked just outside the gate, we would actually be much closer to our unit. I would definitely stay in this unit again in the future. If I had to dig really deep to find something that needed attention it would be that the sliding door needs to operate smoother. Pro's: Nice condo, large apartment w big lanai, well appointed, good location
Con's: Limited close parking, would be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues due to stairs on esch level, carrying luggage and bags of groceries difficult if no close parking available, can hear and see thru interior doors, bedroom window coverings don't keep out exterior lighting, we had no hot water for over two days since complex propane tank ran empty, no bbq grills for same reason, saltwater pool closed for two days.
In general it is a very nice place but appears to be poorly managed by complex management...not owners fault, but not having hot water for 2 of 6 days really was very frustrating.
Staying at this place was perfect. We had 2 4 year olds, and my elderly mother and a special needs sister with us, but the location of the condo was in a central location to the pools and grill area and the parking. The only thing was that it was difficult to get into the unit on the first day, but we will prepare better next time. The unit also had plenty of items to help us enjoy our time there, including beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, etc. thank you very much!
Good location and amazingly close to shore but certainly not swimmable. Condo was Nico fit a family of 4 nicely. Only bad things were an air conditioner that struggled to keep temperature below 80 and most of the ac vents had black mold and gobs of dust.
Great space and perfect size for my family! The balcony lets you watch the sunset and the condo was clean and the property was beautiful. The AC did not keep the condo very cool and we did have to turn on the fans to cool down at the end of the day.
Good location, nice unit but has an offensive odor.
We enjoyed our visit to the island, and the location of the unit and property are nice and everything you need for a condo stay. BUT be advised and prepared for a STRONG offensive odor. I guess, according to the rental agency (we found out after we returned home and made comment), that the owner in the next unit is using moth balls to keep the geckos away. The odor is very strong inside and outside unit 311 rental. Not the traditional Hawaii fragrance of Plumeria for sure! Happy traveling!
What a beautiful property. Condo had all that we needed for a great stay. Very quiet and friendly place. Saltwater pool by the ocean is peaceful and beautiful. Lanai was very spacious.
Great condo with a lot of space! The place was decorated nicely and it was peaceful! I enjoyed sitting out on the lanai sipping my tea and listening to the sounds of the ocean and the birds in the morning and watching the sunset at night! The management was so helpful when we were planning our arrival into Hawaii! Great place!
