Perfect Weekend at Sunset Cove 26N
We arrived early afternoon and were able to get in easily using the keyless lock first try. It's a second floor condo and easy to get up the steps while carrying luggage. The condo was lovely, just as described in the iTrip brochure and exactly as seen in the photos, even better!. Everything looked well maintained and very clean. The balcony of 26N has a great view of the fishing dock and the intracoastal waterway. We saw dolphin swimming by the dock in the morning! Looking to the right from the balcony we could see the Gulf of Mexico! We loved the interior design and colors of the condo, everything is so well coordinated. There are nice touches such as the fairy lights and hallway gallery. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and towels which were much appreciated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, a French press but no Keurig for coffee. There's no icemaker so we bought a bag of ice for the freezer. The bathroom is lovely and feels a little like a spa, the shower is great and we never ran out of hot water. I hand washed our dishes until the last day and was so impressed that the small size dishwasher could hold a full load and the dishes came out clean- steaming hot, sanitized. We loved the bed and oversize TVs! It changed the whole "movie night concept" when it was raining to hard to go out for dinner. We did find some really good choices for restaurants on the beach. We went to Sloppy Joes for a sunset dinner, Ricky T's, Ka Tiki for music and drinks and Shrimpys for another sunset dinner. We like Salt Rock up the beach and for the best brews- Sea Dogs! We missed Drum Circle at the Bilmar beach due to the rain but we'll try to catch it next trip. The pool and deck were clean, refreshing and well maintained. This was a great weekend, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. We'll definitely return so do all the things we didn't have time for. Highly recommend!
