Good outdoor area

We loved the ping pong table! Nice outdoor seating too. The hot water in the shower was finicky but the beds were comfortable. Overall a good experience!

Clean Comfortable House for Family Visit

Awesome place

Anna was always available, the house was in a perfect location for us! Walmart was very close and there was places all around for whatever you would need! The house was clean had everything we needed in it, I would definitely recommend this place!!

Family visit

Anna is a great host. Her home is awesome. Very well laid out and very spacious. Everything you need for a relaxing visit. Community pool is a very nice perk. Convenient to many restaurants, shopping and attractions. Highly recommend.

Nice House and Close to Airport and Shopping

Overall we had a nice stay. The only thing we found disappointing was there was no cable or local TV. We are not Millennials and don’t stream TV. Would have been nice to turn on local morning news, daily weather, and nightly TV shows.

We didn’t realize until the second day that there was black mold on the air conditioning system. We noticed that there had been a previous roof leak because the mold was only on one side of the house (in the two guest bedrooms). There was no air filter in the intake and that whole area was absolutely covered in black mold. When we got to the property, we didn’t check over the property. It wasn’t until the next day when we actually looked over the house. I believe the house is in basic disrepair. Examples are broken towel racks, floor tiles lifting, dirty outdoor furniture, food crumbs, etc. I sent a message to the host that there were things that we noted because we didn’t want to be responsible for these things. The host was angry because we didn’t let her know the first day. I didn’t ask her for anything, but she indicated she would have gotten someone out to correct the issues if we had reported it when we checked in. We didn’t see the mold until after we stayed one night. Because it was Thanksgiving week, she said she couldn’t get anyone out to make any adjustments. We took pictures of the issues. It definitely was not a tropical paradise, by any means. We’ve probably stayed in 30 rental homes over the years and this home is the first one we have ever complained about. It just didn’t meet our expectations. I hate to give a poor review, but they have to put a little work into that house; most specifically for the mold which we believe is a health hazard.

Great location

We had a plumbing issue within the first five minutes after we arrived. Anna had a repairman there and it was fixed within the hour. In our opinion the house was not as clean as we think all VRBO homes should be. The location was perfect for our needs, but we will not be staying there again.

It was Ok, the listing showed the house to be in a different neighborhood where the pool was only a few houses away, here the pool was a couple blocks away. Despite this we will still enjoyed the community pool. The location was good overall and was in a decent neighborhood. It was nice being close to Walmart to get groceries and the drive to the beaches wasn’t bad either. Overall it was ok and we enjoyed our stay in Sarasota.

Golf Tournament in Lakewood Ranch

The location of the property was a little further away from Lakewood ranch than we had asked about. With traffic, it was about 25 minutes and I was told it was 10 minutes away. other than that, it was sufficient for what we needed. I would suggest getting better bedding for the master bedroom.

Clean and updated

The main living areas were clean and updated. The master bedroom had an updated bathroom which was very nice. The guest bath and backyard could use the same update the master and main have received but were livable.

Relaxing Stay - Good Location

We stayed in this home April 2022 with our 4 year old son, as well as a friend and her 2 daughters - 2 yrs and 11 yrs old. The home was spacious and well stocked. We had enough room for everyone without feeling crowded. The owner was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. We really enjoyed the location and neighborhood. The area off University was close to many shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet with homes well maintained, and felt very safe. The kids loved the association pool and it was never crowded. The check in process was very easy. We recommend this rental for others.
