The Surf Shack ** Perfect couples beach getaway!

Come visit The Surf Shack a completely remodeled 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath condo nestled in a quiet, oceanfront complex in Satellite Beach, FL. Our retro building has it's own private beach access that takes you directly to the beautiful waters of Atlantic Ocean.

Satellite Beach is a charming town right off the east coast of Florida known for it's good surf, safe family friendly atmosphere, and kind locals who love sharing their little slice of paradise. Ocean is about 60 steps from our back door

The space
We lovingly remodeled this 1960's beach condo with a mid century modern bohemian vibe. Our unit is in the front building about 60 steps from the ocean.

One designated parking spot is provided and it's located directly out the front door of our condo.

Two beach chairs and beach towels are provided

Luxury Vinyl Plank throughout the home contrast beautifully with bright white walls.

Carefully selected vintage surf prints and pieces by local artists hang from the walls.

The kitchen is our favorite spot in the condo. With open cedar shelving, unique gray quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances you are sure to feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including kids flatware, dishes and cups. If you see something missing- just ask! Kitchen has a bar area connecting to the living room with three stools.

Dining area includes table and four dining chairs

Living area includes IKEA full sized sleepover sofa. Mattress topper, all linens and pillows for sleeper and included inside the pullout storage. TV with cable and Roku also included. Children's books and games stored inside Media console.

Full bathroom in the hallway with shower/bath, toiletries, and hair dryer.

Bedroom has beautiful upholstered bed with new mattress and luxury hospitality grade linens. Dresser is provided along with clothing rack. Two waffle knit spa robes are provided for our guests. TV in bedroom includes cable and Roku. Full length mirror also provided. Blackout curtains in bedroom and living room.

Half bath connected to Master bedroom. Our unit is the only one in the complex with an additional half bath for your privacy and comfort.

Community washer and dryer (for a fee) are right next to our unit which makes it easy to do laundry for extended stays.

The property was great and clean! Location was nice for walking to local restaurants and such. The private beach access was nice and was not too crowded, would stay again!

The surf shack was as advertised, perfect space for a restful long weekend. I appreciated the boho decor and the extras like soft towels, robes and beach gear. Overall the property was clean and beach was quiet, seemingly private. Also a great location in walking distance to restaurants, grocery and shopping! Great, great experience! Will stay again!

Much better than a hotel!!

We enjoyed every detail at the Surf Shack! The bed was comfortable, having a half bath made getting ready a breeze, appliances if we wanted to cook with everything we needed. The neighborhood was convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Walking out back to the private beach was an experience we will never forget. Thank you for the hospitality!

So Quaint

It was the cutest property. From the beach access, being right behind you and being private to the very soft blankets, and the homey feel of the whole place. Me and my guy had such a great time and we had everything that we needed. It was a adoreable vacation spot out of a fairy-tale

Loved it!

Great place to stay! Very clean and looks just like the photos. Very easy to find and close to MANY good food spots. We went for a getaway for 4th of July week, and the beach was busy but not in front of our place. We’re not fans of crowded beaches so this was perfect. Fireworks along the beach line and on the river. Thank you Surf Shack for the hospitality, everything was great!

The owners were very clever in furnishing their condo. We had everything we needed for our 17 day stay in January. My only disappointment was that there wasn’t a view of the ocean from the unit. We had to walk to the other end of the building.

Very nice inside and lovely property owners

Place was just what we needed for the stay. Even included coffee for the coffee maker and cream/sugar too! Only negative was we thought (based on pictures) it was actually a view of the beach, but that was our fault for not reading thoroughly. But as noted, short short walk to beach from front of condos and large open patio you can sit and have coffee or just watch the waves. VERY PEACEFUL! It has been beautifully updated and Kelly was AWESOME! Just a note that the condo does face A1A and there is construction across the street. The road noise was not as noticeable as I thought it would be but construction was. But that is very short-term and definitely nothing the owners can fix.

Host was nice. Everything was as advertised and we had everything we needed. The oven did not work when we tried to use it the second day. The owner came out on Saturday and tried to fix it, but couldn’t and promised to send a repairman. Luckily, I downloaded a digital fix from Samsung website and was able to fix it myself. No problem at all. Unit was well equipped with beach chairs, towels, coffee pot and coffee.

Back to school beach week

Satellite Beach offered everything. Our vacation had it all. Beach, dolphins, Sea Turtles, and fishing. We even were blessed to see baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean. The condo was clean and close to many restaurants. Thank you for a great vacation.
