Paradise at HDM

We have rented several units in Hacienda de Mita over the past several years. The appointments and decor of this unit are extremely nice. The property has a wonderful cook and housekeeper and Concierge on the Bay does a fine job of managing the property, especially the person that was our host. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation, even with the interruption of the hurricane and loss of electricity! We enjoyed the beach club and catamaran trip that we had scheduled, and only wished Kapuri Beach Club had been available sooner! We'll definitely be back again! Great 3 Nights in HDM

We have stayed in different condos throughout HDM seven times. The condos never disappoint. I loved the details in this one - pickleball equipment was a nice touch! The condo came with everything you need for a great stay: golf cart, toiletries, beach towels, and comfortable beds. Our concierge, Jesus, was awesome and super responsive. Highly recomend!

Nice and clean

The property was very nice. The master faced the ocean/pools. The other large bedroom faced other condos but it was a nice bedroom. The third bedroom had two queens and a small bathroom and the shower did not work. A dribble of water and no hot water. The occupants of that room had to shower in one of the larger bedrooms. The forth bedroom was a laundry room/closet type room. It had a single bed (or was it a bunk bed?). We had the baby crib put in here and it was great for our infant. The crib we ordered came without a sheet but there were extra bed sheets in the condo we used. The water bubbler was broken while we were there which was unfortunate. We had to go buy lots of bottled water.. Berta is the cleaner and morning cook and she is lovely. She cooked us delicious breakfasts. One night we had cooks come in to make dinner which was insanely overpriced. $55 pp for chicken enchiladas. We were told it came with margaritas but it did not come with any drinks except the extra Fanta we ordered for one in our group that doesn’t drink - and that was extra! Our concierge was nice and organized our taxi to and from Puerto Vallarta, a boating trip and an ATV trip for us - all were good tours. The concierge service could do better before you arrive by communicating better. The condo is close to the beach, hot tubs and pools and comes with a 6 person golf cart. You are also very close to the little town - just a short walk to the gate to the town where you can go for coffees, pharmacy needs, meals out, shopping . The condo also comes with a pass for all the beach clubs which is most important. We had a great time. The showers in the condo were the only issue - the two decent showers that had some water pressure ran out of hot water quickly.

The condo was in perfect condition; the concierge and cleaning/cooking services made for a very relaxing vacation. The grounds of the resort are beautiful as are the surrounding resorts. We would definitely love to return!

Excellent Family Vacation

No complaints...such a perfect spot for a family vacation. The amenities at the unit were amazing, concierge was responsive, newer large golf cart was great, proximity to the town was great for walking or driving the cart, the unit was large and comfortable, and the list goes on. We loved staying here with our two young kids (1 and 3 years old) and our nanny. Highly recommend.

PUNTA PARADISE

We have stayed in several VrBO homes in the last few years and this is one of my favorite. The home is beautiful and service was exceptional. What made this so impressive is the close proximately to the town and the amazing beach clubs. We visited 4 of the 5 and each had great points. Surfing seems to be the preferred sport, but we are golfers. Playing Punta Mita is perfect. The included golf cart made everything convenient. We moved from the home to a 5 star hotel within the gates of Punta Mita for 5 more days, and I wish we had spent the whole time at this home. Will be back again soon.

Good property

The condo was very nice inside. The golf cart that is for use with the property needs to be replaced. We got stuck multiple times going uphill and had to get out and push the cart. (3 light weight adults) If there were actually four people or larger in size, it would never have made it.

We've had several trips into Punta Mita and a few other stays in HDM. Little hesitant on this one because of the lack of reviews, but it's still Punta Mita. Great unit - cool location. It seems that we might have been the first guests since they renovate the unit. Cool kitchen - modern. I'm sure alot of the issues were related to getting the unit ready for high season, but was really rushed. All issues (except the oven not working) were quickly resolved by concierge and all really minor. Recommend that the owners replace the golf cart with a 6 seater and one with larger tires...the current one won't last. I'm sure that the owners will get this in great shape and we just happened to be the first (which can be good and bad!). Would consider renting again.

Heaven on Earth

This property was fantastic. Excellent location, 2 minute walk through secure gate into town, accesse to all the beach clubs... basically seems like you have your own private pool there are so many for the units. Interior perfectly decorated, upscale and spacious. The concierge team was super responsive and booked all of our reservations. Loved it!
