Barefoot Country 303 is a one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom condo with breathtaking views from the balcony and is literally steps away from the surf. Inside this breezy condo, you'll find hardwood flooring and a fully equipped kitchen, plus a private direct oceanfront balcony where you can watch the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. The living room is inviting with comfortable furnishings that include two sofas and an armchair, and a flatscreen TV with cable.

What's nearby:
Situated on 138th St. in peaceful North Ocean City, it is located near many great dining locations including The Crab Cake Factory, Tailchasers, and Nick's Original House of Ribs. There is free parking for one car at the lot in front of the building (with additional on-street parking available, first come first served) and an elevator with bellhop carts for your convenience.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Loved that it was a beautiful view from the private balcony and right on the beach; away from the crowded areas. The walkway where the kitchen was, was very small. And the bathrooms couldve used a little love. Overall it was worth the price.

The location and view are amazing!

The unit was adequate. Unit staged for the photos and colors definitely photo shopped. Felt like thrift store furnishings. Building constructed in 1979 and only the absolutely necessary upgrades were done. Towel bars, hooks and tp holders barely attached to walls/doors.

The Property was fine. Could use some upgrades and improvements, but overall it was OK. The biggest drawback was the tv in the living area had major audio problems. Wasn't really able to watch anything due to the lack of hearing dialogue. I didn't watch a whole lot of tv so, it wasn't a big deal, but it was drawback

Don't waste your $$$

We found this rental in need of a face lift. Full bath needs a new shower curtain, smells sour, faucet needs to be tightened and drain needs to be unclogged. Beds are horrible. We cleaned the AC filters that was just gross, looked like it wasn't cleaned in awhile. Sofa had sand under the cushions. Pervious renters dirty linens sat outside our door for 4 days before they were picked up. Hole in the wall at front entrance and needs to cleaned up and painted. Great location but I would not recommend.

Not the greatest experience or rental in Ocean City

We rent pretty often from VRBO and for the cost, this unit wasn't worth it in our opinion. The realty fees were a little excessive. In regard to the unit, the beds were OK, but the sleeper sofa was terrible. The floors were sandy upon arrival, and the bedroom AC was difficult to operate where some buttons did not work. every closet door in the unit was broken and/or off it's track. Also, the rental page says free wifi included. As with other reviews, this is not the case. The instructions on the fridge did not work. In our opinion, this unit could be a solid 3 or 4 rating, but the rental company does not take care of it or put the effort we have seen in numerous other rentals we have stayed at. So for that, we gave 1 star.

The condo had a wonderful ocean view, but it was filthy inside when we arrived!

The condo had a wonderful ocean front view, but we arrived and the condo was filthy! Sand everywhere, hair everywhere, the blankets had stains on them and never were washed, thankfully we brought our own! The only best part was the ocean view the condo was filthy and the base heater one of the metal side we’re off and wires we’re showing, we had to remind our children to not go near the wires! After I had to clean the condo myself after arriving the stay was good, but they need better cleaning people in there, no one should have to clean a room before staying!

Great view!

Really enjoyed my stay for a quick weekend getaway. The condo had everything I needed and issues mentioned in past reviews seemed to all be addressed. Loved being able to sit on the balcony or in the condo and watch the waves crashing on the beach! Would definitely go back.

The management company did a fantastic job communicating and coordinating our stay. The location was excellent, right on the beach. The apartment really needs a makeover. It was a flashback to the 70s. It has potential if the owner spent money bringing it to the present. It was old, dingy and small. We had 2 adults and 2 children. As someone else mentioned, the beds where full size and the mattress needs replacing because my daughter would wake with back pains from the uneven surface. Fortunately, I took my cot and I slept well. Due to the sand constantly blowing in from the patio, a vacuum would have been great. Brooming was a daily routine. The kitchen had plates, cups, mugs, and other cooking accessories (not that we cooked anything). If being on the beach matters then this is great but don`t have any expectations for the apartment. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Condo fell well short of expectation!

I’ll begin with the positive. The view from the condo is absolutely beautiful. With that said, the condo itself is in desperate need of repair and upkeep. When we arrived toilet paper holder was broke. Every chair on the balcony was broke. Sand was all over the balcony and outside table. Sliding door to balcony was filthy. Toaster oven has melted plastic on the top. Glass on front of microwave has baked on filth. Coffee maker extremely cheap. Pillow in bedroom had a hug hole with stuffing falling out. Crumbs, sand and stains all over mattress cover. Air conditioning units were very loud. Outlets barely held in an iPhone charger. Owner needs to reinvest some money into updating this place.

IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND ARE LOOKING TO HAVE A NICE VACATION DON’T RENT THIS PLACE!!!!! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE ACCUSED OF SOMETHING THAT YOU DIDNT DO, DON’T RENT THIS PLACE! I rented the apartment for 3 couples; we were in 6 people total! Our first night was fine, (if you don’t consider the terrible sofa bed- that’s it’s very uncomfortable)! On the next day, (Saturday AFTERNOON) we were getting dressed, hanging out in the apartment, listening to music, and getting ready to go to seacrets, when I received a phone call from the leasing office. The lady on the phone told me that the neighbor was complaining about noise, threatening to call the cops and she told me that if it this still happening they would kick us out of the apartment (without a refund)! After we received this phone call, we turn the music off and left the apartment! - we went to the party, where we stayed the whole day and night! On the next morning, around 10am, WE WERE AT THE BEACH, when one of the realtors show up at the apartment, and wanted to INSPECT everything, accusing us of having more than 6 people in there and saying that we were having a party last night, THE WHOLE NIGHT! (THAT NIGHT THAT WE WERENT EVEN IN THERE!!!) Of course, that when he comes in, he saw the apartment was CLEAN AND ORGANIZED, and that there was NOTHING WRONG. We were ACCUSED of things that we didn’t to, I RENTED AND PAID for the apartment and they talked to me like I wasn’t a CLIENT! They never talked to me with care, asking about my side of story, since the FIRST phone call, they were threatening to call the cops, and kick us out of the apartment. It was supposed to be a nice and relaxed weekend, but after all, we felt so bad that we didn’t even the turned the TV on, WE JUST WANTED TO LEAVE! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Bargain Ocean Front Condo

This condo met all my expectations and is accurately described in listing/photos. Its beachfront location with ocean facing balcony is the reason to stay in this budget friendly accommodation. There are many upgrades which could be done to enhance the unit, but then it would be a more expensive listing.

Very disappointed in this Condo and the Customer Service- look elsewhere!

This property needs some serious updating; the appliances were beyond ancient; the black sofa in the picture is rock hard and not even comfortable to sit on, let alone to sleep on. The air conditioning system was also ancient. The wifi did not work- the network listed on the paperwork did not even show up- I wasn't even able to add the network. As for customer service, I arrived around 10 am and I know the room wasn't occupied because I was given the parking pass. I asked if there was any possibility of us checking in earlier than 3 pm because my daughter was sick. The secretary forwarded me to the manager- Russell. I got his voicemail and left a message explaining my situation. Approximately two hours later Russell still didn't call me back. I called back and the secretary once again forwarded to his voicemail. I was told by the secretary that Russell checks his messages frequently. After another hour and a half later, still no response. I went to the office and the secretary called him and was able to reach him instantly and I was allowed to check in at 2:30 pm. I will add the place wasn't very clean once we did get in. There were dishes that were put away dirty and cob webs in the corners. The only good thing I can say is the balcony view is beautiful. This place is far too pricey for the location and outdated features. It is approximately 5 miles from the boardwalk and the drive takes close to half an hour because of traffic and parking.

First family vacation

The description was not quite accurate for this property as it offered free wifi (which was our main reason for choosing to stay here)but had to pay for it. We provided a receipt and were told we would be refunded and never were. The property has a private parking lot, the unit was clean, well maintained and quiet. A few minor repairs needed done such as exposed outlets, no cold water in kitchen sink therefor we had no ice, but that was minor. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed and then some! I definatly recommend this property to others. Our family raved about Ponzettis pizza and Nicks house of ribs and enjoyed the outlets and boardwalk being close by. Unlimited activities are at your fingertips and your toes in the sand just feet away.
