Wooded & private setting on Wellington Hills in Woodinville, WA.

You'll enjoy your stay in the private detached studio apartment which resides on the front half of our horse acre property. Upon pulling up to the electric gated driveway where you'll be greeted by the lovely manicured yard with blueberry bushes, ferns, mature rhodies, azaleas, and gorgeous Magnolias that profusely bloom each spring.
Your car will be secured inside the fully fence yard in the private parking spot in front of the Carriage House garage door. The covered patio to the right of the house will lead you to the secured side entrance door into the finished garage. Once inside, the stairs will guide you to the second level studio apartment where upon entry, the large windows open up to the humongous evergreens and maples that surround the Carriage House, making it feel like you're relaxing in a treehouse while enjoying all the comforts of home; full kitchen that is fully stocked, regulation sized pool table, HUGE drop down projector screen TV, comfy queen Murphy bed and couch that folds into a spacious king bed, soft linens, lovely bathroom with shower, Keurig and coffee pods, covered deck with large L-shaped couch to lounge on with a morning cup of joe or evening glass of wine...firepit and S'more's anyone? Here for work? No problem! Enjoy the pub style table that expands for plenty of work space and YES! We have very reliable, highspeed Wifi! We are here to make your stay in Woodinville most enjoyable.

The Carriage House is located 5-7 minutes from downtown Woodinville & hundreds of wine tasting rooms/wineries, distilleries, breweries, Ste Michelle Winery/summer concert series & Sophia Health Institute.

We reside in a very safe and walkable neighborhood for you to enjoy while you stay with us.

Very clean, great attention to detail. We found the Murphy bed very comfortable, My wife has a hip condition and she hurt less sleeping on this bed than our bed at home! Pillows were great also. We might suggest a couch that is more comfortable. Enjoyed the projection tv! Cozy get away!

This little cottage was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! The pool table was the absolute best part of this place, we had so much fun with it. The murphy bed was super comfortable and the place was very clean. We had the best time :)

Wine & Pool!

Property location perfect for our short wine tasting excursion! Love the projection screen, pool table, space, wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor living spaces but you have to work around the PNW weather. Rain!!!

Great place to stay and visit wineries

We loved coffee on the porch in the mornings! This place was perfect for settling in after a day of wine tastings and exploring the town. Such a cute separate space from the owners and an easy Uber ride to the tasting room area. The only opportunity is the listing when we booked said spacious king sofa sleeper. It was actually a twin sofa sleeper, the egg crate made it more comfortable. I'm not sure how you would fit 4 people in this space. 3 was ok, but probably best for 2.

Needed sleep

Very tired from our travels and needed some sleep. Murphy queen size bed was not the most comfortable. Would have preferred a king size comfortable bed over a large pool table that took up lots of room. Stairs going to the loft area had spider webs and needed cleaning.

We were in the area to see our son and daughter-in-law. The carriage house worked great and was peaceful and well stocked. Very convenient to all the wineries around Woodinville. Good hiking in near vicinity. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! Super clean, homey and quiet. The pool table was a big plus. It's also close to a handful of small towns and lots of trails to explore.

Sweet little spot, beds could be comfier

This spot was great for our stay in Woodinville wine tasting. I will say tho, if I was a pickier sleeper I would not be impressed with the beds. Murphy bed and couch bed were okay for sleeping, but if it were people like my parents sleeping there they were be very displeased with the sleeping arrangements. The owners house is also right there which felt a little awkward but they give you your space.

Serene stay in Woodinville

Such a sweet property to spend the weekend. Just a quick drive to the tourist district of Woodinville for good eats and drinks and a pretty walking path. The porch was such a lovely place to have a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. All of the little details that help make a new place feel like home were there.

Owners were very helpful with questions. The place is as advertised. Only drawback would be if you like watching TV in bed; the set up of the room does not allow for it. In addition to the wineries there are between 4-6 breweries within 5 miles.

A Hidden Gem

I booked a stay here because I was in town for work and it looked comfortable and was substantially more affordable than any hotel in the area. Upon checking in I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it vastly exceeded my expectations! The apartment is very elegant, comfortable, and space-efficient with great amenities. Communication with the property owner was extremely prompt - she responded to my message asking for a slightly later check-in within minutes, and was very accommodating. The property is beautiful and secluded, and the apartment offers a lot of privacy and space. Next time I need to stay on the Woodinville/Redmond area I won't even bother looking anywhere else.

Woodsy out of the city fun studio with all we needed

Incredible setting in the woods. Unusual and fun extras: Billiard table and large screen projector with lots of streaming media content. Not far to The Sammamish River Trail which runs 10.1 miles along the Sammamish River from Bothell to Marymoor Park in Redmond as part of the “Locks to Lakes Corridor.”

Very Private

Stayed there 4 nights and it was like being in a home with no neighbors yet the owners were next door. The pool table was fun and the big screen tv was a plus. Would definitely return.

Amazing location, amazing property, and amazing communication with the owner Laurie. We had a great time, and the property was so close to wine tasting everywhere in Woodinville. It was comfortable and well appointed. This will definitely be a place my friends and I return to for a girls weekend!

We really enjoyed staying here. On cold rainy days the pool table and the big screen TV and a little wine kept us entertained. It’s a bit of a drive, but the beautiful serene setting makes up for it. I’d stay here again!

We purchased the main home and property back in 1999. Robert and I grew up in Woodinville and both attended and graduated Woodinville HS where we were HS sweethearts. We have been married for 29 years and have raised our three children on this property. We have transformed the property over the last 22 years, adding the detached carriage house in 2004, just as my husband suffered a brain tumor. He thankfully survived and we enjoyed the space for many years with our family.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We build the detached Carriage House originally for our office space which is located on the lower lower level that faces 229th St and the gravel driveway and to house Robert's fun car and movie nights in the upstairs apartment that we now allow guests full access to. The lower garage still houses the car and the office Robert uses for researching appraisal and conduct appraisal reports. The office has it's own private entrance and he does not disturb guests by coming and going and visa-versa. It's very quiet and well insulated. Guests will not be disturbed. There are two windows in the office. One that faces the main street and one the driveway. We provide complete privacy.
