Nicely equipped cottage. We had a peaceful stay. The owners are very nice and communicated quickly. Nice, big yard. Perfect for a big group, lots of beds. There's a firepit, big tables outside, cornhole, darts and games. Most importantly, they allow smoking outdoors, of course. Most hotels are "no smoking on the entire property. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed as a group of recent high school graduates and this place was perfect for what we needed. The host was very responsive and accommodating when we needed anything at all. I would stay here again no doubt.

This place was perfect! Location: Super close to the beach and everything we needed, with just the right amount of privacy.Check in/out and communication: Our hosts made everything easy and were very responsive. Could not ask for nicer folks.The space: Clean and cozy and exactly what we needed. The beds (and there were plenty for all of us) were soooo comfy and we all slept great.

This cottage is perfect! It was very clean and very inviting! We had 5 adults and there was plenty of room. If you enjoy being outside, the backyard is wonderful and playing darts was fun! It is super close to all the fun Carolina Beach has to offer as well as several grocery stores.

Family Beach Get Away

This was our first time visiting the Carolina Beach shore and this location was perfect for us. We were very closely located to the beach and the boardwalk but also in a secluded location with privacy. We spent our evenings playing card games and the atmosphere just perfect. Our hosts provided us with ample area secrets for great things to see and do as well. We are already looking forward to going back.

This home was in great condition, very clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils. It was off the beaten path and quiet, yet close to Kure and Carolina beaches, as well as shopping and restaurants. Check in was easy, host was prompt in welcoming us and in answering questions.The yard around the outside was weedy and full of sandburrs. The beach chairs were heavy and not practical to take to the beach as was suggested.The screened in porch was grimy, mildewy and unswept.

We were happy to host Carol and even welcomed her dog last-minute at no charge. A week of rain before arrival kept the gardener from mowing the backyard, and our listing’s lounge-style beach chairs were different from what she hoped for. We appreciate her kind words about our location, cleanliness, and amenities, and are proud of our nearly perfect ratings all season.
