This is our 2nd year staying in this condo and it has been perfect. The check in is so easy and the place is very clean. Perfect location for everything. I look forward to coming back again!

I can not say enough about this condo. The location is perfect. In the middle of everything. The beach is block away and it is surrounded by fantastic restaurants. Bayside dining at its best. The condo itself was very comfortable. It felt like home but at the beach. We had a great time and the host was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again without hesitation.

I have never rented a place at the beach before. I didn't know what to expect..it was so easy. Place was perfectly located. Nice place. We had a great time.

Location is great. Condo could use some updating and A/C in bedrooms not great and no ceiling fans. 2nd parking spot is so small. However, overall it was good

Nice vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean condo with everything you would need. You do have to cross the highway to get to the beach. There are pedestrian crossing lanes/lights but still proceed carefully. Otherwise not a bad stroll to beach. Beds are definitely firm.

Easy beach living!

This is a great property. No clutter or too many decorations. The layout is spacious with plenty of room. Keep in mind you need to bring your own linens and towels. There is a full size laundry unit which is great. 2 parking spots and you can literally walk to everything. Pool is a nice change of pace as well. It’s really a perfect spot for Dewey and we will definitely stay again. My only recommendation is to upgrade mattresses - bring a mattress pad if you need a little comfort to sleep…but seriously other than that it is a perfect spot!

The Dewey Beach Condo

This is our second time staying at the Opal Condominium in Dewey Beach and my family and I had a great time again this year. The property owner, Dana, couldn’t be more accommodating, allowing us to access the property early, as we arrived earlier. The space accommodated my wife, our two kids and I perfectly. The beach is a block away and the proximity to Rehobeth is also great for the family with the boardwalk and variety of restaurants and activities. Everything you’d want is either within walking distance or a short drive away. We can’t say enough about how great this property and its location is. We would highly recommend staying at this property and will be back.

Wonderful property

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this property. The location was ideal being one block from the beach and the unobstructed view of the ocean from the family room window was a welcomed feature. The condo had all the amenities listed and while we chose not to cook, I could see this unit being appealing to families wanting to stay in for some meals. The living room furniture was very comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. During the stay we had a couple of questions for the owner and she was extremely responsive to messages sent which was most appreciated. My only thought was to switch around the beds in the 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom had 2 twin beds vs a king (which would have been ideal for couples) or a queen. The queen bed was in the smaller of the two rooms that had access to a hall bath. I would highly recommend this property to those looking for a quiet unit (top floor) with easy access to the beach and restaurants in Dewey. Parking was also very convenient at the building making coming and going a breeze without worry of having to search for a spot.

Perfect for our small three-generation family vacation. The Unit was clean, had everything we needed, and was within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and convenience stores. The pool was a plus! Would stay there again!

Opal at Dewey Beach

My family and I booked this last minute vacation in July for mid August and we were very fortunate to have found the Opal condo. The location is ideal to the beach and everything you need is in walking distance. Rehoboth Beach boardwalk is a short 7 minute drive away (even with the heavy traffic in the area) The entire area experience is very family friendly. The restaurants, especially near Rehoboth, were more upscale than a lot of shore dinning we have experienced, which we really enjoyed. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and will book again for next year and years to come.
