Delightful and Quaint 3BR/2BA Ybor Bungalow

Choose one of Historic Ybor’s most modern bungalows to get the best of this vibrant neighborhood and all the comforts of home. Our upscale amenities include a full chef’s kitchen, fast WiFi, a washer/dryer, and A/C and heat. It’s the perfect home base for a Cigar City getaway!

Walk to the fantastic restaurants and nightlife of Ybor’s 7th Avenue in just 5 minutes, and all of Tampa’s top attractions are within a short drive.

Free street parking is available in front of the house.

The space
Our guests say our Historic Ybor bungalow is a “beautiful home” and the “location is amazing,” so we think you’ll love it too.

Whether visiting with friends, family, or coworkers, our charming home is a perfect place to stay in Tampa for up to 8 guests. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so everybody will have plenty of privacy.

In the gourmet kitchen, you’ll find sleek stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and cabinets stocked with all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you could need. We also have a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a toaster.

After exploring all of Tampa’s highlights, you might want to kick back and relax on the couch, and our living room has a comfy sofa and two armchairs. Flip on the flat-screen TV or just enjoy the company of your traveling companions. The front porch is also a nice place to hang out!

If you need to do laundry, feel free to use the washer and dryer.

We invite you to make yourself at home and enjoy Tampa to the fullest.

House was cute. Served its purpose. Clean and nice decorations. Air conditioning worked good. Kitchen had everything you need. However, It did not have a washing machine and dryer which I thought would have. Neighborhood is loud at night especially on the weekends. Nice easy walk to historic Ybor City. Not really a family friendly place though. Better for young adults 21. All in all good experience.

Host was incredibly responsive both before and during the stay. The property is exactly as pictured. Clean comfortable and was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay there.

This little bungalow is in a convenient location near Ybor close to the Columbia Restaurant. The neighborhood itself it a little bit more rundown than we were expecting. There is some train noise from the nearby train tracks as well. The inside of the house looks exactly like the photos. We had a couple of issues, the first was the with the shower in the master bedroom. The indicator for hit water on the shower is wrong, if you turn it towards the "H" its actually cold water. Turning it the other way did give hit water. The second was a sewer like smell when we returned from being out. We weren't sure where it was coming from but had to open the windows in the kitchen to air it out. The host was very communicative the whole time. Overall our stay was great with a few small issues.

Please disregard any poor reviews regarding the location of this house. We sat out on the porch every night and never felt unease. Being from the East Bay Area in Norcal, we know when a area is bad. This isnt it. It is the perfect location for walking to 7th Ave which we did every night. The house was perfect for our needs. We did not cook other than breakfast as preferred to eat out at the many wonderful options. Our Columbia dinner was special. Just a couple streets over was the easy route up to the freeway so we were able to be on the beach and golf course in no time. Absolutely recommend the free trolley which was a 10 min walk from the house. Room were cozy and beds were fine. I am particular about beds and really had no issues sleeping in the main room. Will 100% look to rent this house again next time!

The house was perfect for us. We needed a place we were close to attractions and walking distance to Ybor for entertainment. Although it was cool at night with the air conditioning it did get warm in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend an additional standing or floor fan but otherwise again this was the perfect place for our group.

We had a good stay. It was clean enough, equipped with what we needed, and served its purpose well. The location is definitely a highlight, close and and easy walk to the Ybor Historic District with plenty of nightlife nearby. It was peaceful enough for what we needed, and the front porch was nice to hang out on. Kitchen had the basics, the common areas worked well, AC and wifi were reliable.As with most BnB-style homes, there were a few quirks, the ceiling fan, for example, was a little questionable but nothing that took away from the overall experience.I didn't see a washer and dryer as listed in the amenities, but we also didn't need that and didn't ask.If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-situated place that gives you a true local feel, this spot works great.

The VRBO was nice, just a few minor defects: there a was a bulb out in the bathroom in the master bedroom, the water pressure in the shower in the master bathroom was low, and the hot and cold indicators for the shower and sink in the master bathroom were reversed. One last thing is to detail where the washer and dryer are located. These are just minor things that definitely do not draw away from how nice this VRBO is.

Adorable place and extremely convenient to everything. The only suggestions that I have are: thermal blackout curtains for the 2nd bedroom as it gets extremely hot in the afternoon, ceiling or stand alone fan for the other two bedrooms and at least one full sized mirror.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again when we visit again.

Not what was exected

never received code to get in. Tried reaching owner several times no response. Neighborhood was not good. I have a real problem with this property not being representative of what is on line. Had to book another place to stay at the last minute did not feel safe for my family at this location. Someone please please reply to me. Never used this property and do not want to pay. VRBO needs to let people know this place is not safe

Dirty Home in a dirty neighborhood.

Hosts should be required to submit pix from the outside of the home because this would have made a difference in choosing this home. Yes, its in the YBOR district but the street it was on in YBOR and the properties surrounding it made it an uncomfortable stay. The house across the street is a crash house, there is an abandoned garage or home next door and some kind of repair shop business directly across. Inside the home there were mouse droppings in the sofa, on the floors and ants on the shower curtain and kitchen window seals. The house had a stale smell. This house needs attention badly. The porch and siding on this house needs repair. We were mortified when we pulled up and slept with a chair against the door each night. The one positive was the close proximity to what we needed in YBOR but we would never stay here again.

Comfortable bungalow

Nice location, it worked for us during our work vacation. Beds were a little stiff but had all necessities. And convenient to restaurants.

Very limited attention to detail

Got to the house at 9:30pm and it had not been cleaned after the previous tenant—it was a mess. Property manager sent a cleaner who showed up at 10, tried to clean sheets but washing machine didn’t work so he brought all the linens to his house to wash and dropped them off at 5am. To the manager’s credit, she refunded cleaning fee and one night credit. House is okay and neighborhood is fine.

Issues

This house is not as advertised. The neighborhood is best described as transitioning. The house has many issues. The water in the master bath doesn’t get hot, the faucet for the tub/shower in the master does not function properly, the faucet in the kitchen does not function properly, the microwave in the kitchen was broken, and the remote in the den was broken, etc. I emailed the Owner/Agent to let them know and ask for a credit back after we checked out and was told that I should have let them know the issues prior to checking out but the would get back to me. This response is absurd. I don’t want to spend my vacation waiting for plumbers and handymen. I assume no one else does either. Guests should not be quality inspectors and they need to do that on their time. It has now been over two weeks and I still have not received a response back, so I posted this review.
