The Ashely Fun House - Tampa Bay

Welcome to the Ashley Fun House! This house has lots of fun activities for the family. Pet friendly and smoke free. Located 10 minutes from the Tampa Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Tampa and Riverwalk, 3 miles from Busch Gardens/Adventure Island, 1.3 miles from Lowry Park Zoo, 5 miles from Tampa Bay Bucs Stadium, 6 miles from Amalie Arena, and less then an hour away from Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg. Please understand the house is located in an urban area of Tampa so the area may be a little noisy on the weekends and very seldom during the week.

You will occasionally hear fireworks from Busch Gardens as part of their celebrations as well as some neighbors particularly around holidays. Unfortunately the noise is out of our control. Please keep in mind, this is Florida so it is very tropical so from time to time there will be bugs, but we do have pest control every month to avoid any mishaps. Please keep doors closed at all times.

We loved staying here! We are all quite comfortable and enjoyed the fun vibe of the property. It is a great value for it's close proximity to lots of great attractions and just in general. Perhaps most notable was the property manager's extreme kindness and patience with us when my husband accidentally left his work laptop! She communicated with us late on a Friday night and overnighted it to us the very next morning so that he would have it for work. She absolutely went above and beyond and we are so grateful. We would definitely stay here again! My kids loved it.

Beautiful home

Beautiful house the family and I enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone, not far from entertainment i attend monday night raw. It was a great experience thanks again for the stay.

We stayed a full 5 weeks here and would definitely come back. It was a convenient short drive to a lot of the places we like to go in Tampa as well as to get on to I-4 to drive over to Orlando as well. The host had left us a personalized note as well as some snacks and bottled water to start our stay, and there were a good amount of supplies available for use. She was also very quick to respond to a couple inquiries we had through the Vrbo app and to take care of one minor issue that popped up. The backyard was perfect for our little pups, and they enjoyed having the space to run around. I enjoyed the putting green and basketball hoop to get a little activity in during the lovely Tampa evenings.

Quiet house in the neighborhood

Highly recommended!

“Ashley Fun House” was truly a great time! We visited for the weekend from South Florida and couldn’t of asked for a better location. 10 mins to Busch Gardens, 15 mins to the Hard Rock. The putting green and basketball court in the back yard was awesome! Also the large selection of board games was great. Shannon made the check-in/out process easy and contact-free. The house had everything we needed and more. We are looking forward to coming back!

This house was perfect for us! The teens were able to enjoy the games and fun the house has to offer. The house was very clean and had everything you would need. Communication with the host was super fast, friendly and flexible. Thank you!

Perfect Moving Out Escape

The house was a wonderful escape for us as we moved out of our permanent home. Super clean and tons of adorable details for myself and two boys. Even a wrapped gift for them and touching card under the tree! With games and sports it was truly the Ashley Fun House for us!!! Not the most beautiful part of Tampa but a calm retreat and close to everything! Would definitely recommend.

Awesome!!

House was very convenient to everything! We had an awesome time and enjoyed everything about this house. Kids loved the basketball hoop, putt putt, ps4 etc!! Kids actually wanted to leave Busch Gardens early so they could go back to the house!

Thanksgiving Break

I’ve stayed at quite a few VRBO’s but this one was top notch in regards to amenities and the host. Shannon was quick to answer all my questions and made the check-in/out very easy; she even left a welcome gift for us and had snacks and waters available. The house was well equipped in both the kitchen and bathroom; extra personal items in case anything was forgotten or just needed. The basketball court, mini putt, and game room were great; fenced in yard for our dog as well as pet friendly accommodations inside. The house was centrally located to downtown Tampa and Busch Gardens which was perfect for us. We were a little concerned with the neighborhood as it is an older one; the houses on either side were quite rundown and junky but we never encountered any issues and the fence blocked out the views which helped. Overall it was a great family trip!

The house was very clean and it was in a convenient location. Having a fenced yard is especially helpful if you are bringing a pet, and Shannon was very responsive and helpful.

We have a fenced in back yard perfect for pets and kids to run around. We also have a basketball court and mini golf. Inside the house we have a game room with a Playstation 4, Nintendo Wii, and board games. Also a smart tv with Disney Plus.
