Introducing my charming basement studio, a vibrant 400 square feet living space nestled in the lower level of my beautifully preserved 1909 home. This inviting studio boasts abundant natural light, creating an atmosphere that feels both airy and welcoming. There are blackout curtains available for day sleepers.

Step into the well-appointed kitchen, featuring gleaming granite counters and full-size appliances, offering everything you need for culinary adventures. The studio also offers the convenience of two storage closets, ensuring ample space for your belongings, and a refreshing walk-in shower for your comfort.

Nestled in a secure and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood of single-family homes, the studio has a separate entrance accessible from the driveway, granting you privacy and independence.

Convenience and variety are at your fingertips, with three distinct business districts just a stone's throw away. Within a mere 3 minutes, you'll find yourself immersed in the vibrant Williams/Vancouver Avenue Corridor, offering a diverse range of stores, groceries, and restaurants. Historic Mississippi Avenue, brimming with its unique charm, is a mere 10-minute journey, while a pleasant 20-minute stroll leads you to the captivating Alberta Arts District.

Street parking is readily available for your vehicle, and the laundry facilities are shared with me, ensuring your laundry needs are easily taken care of.

As your host, I am a dedicated working professional who resides upstairs. Rest assured, I prioritize tranquility and maintain a peaceful environment. I also love serving as a tour guide if needed.

9 week stay for school

My daughter stayed in this cozy apartment for the duration of her school program. The location was perfect for her. Being this was her first time being away from home, I felt completely comfortable after talking to Michelle, who was generous with her knowledge of the area. Michelle was also very quick to answer any questions both before and during the stay. My daughter liked that the apartment had a keyless entry into the building, as well as a keyed entry to the apartment. Her stay was from August to October and because it’s a basement apartment, it stayed cool during the heat and was warm into the fall. The large bathroom with walk in shower was a treat. It might be a consideration that it may not be a fit for a very tall person. The neighborhood is pleasant to walk and very near food choices in every direction.

We're located in a safe residential neighborhood of mostly single family homes with close access to restaurants, galleries, and shopping. The studio is clean and quiet, and cozy. We are walking distance to the Alberta Arts District, Historic Mississippi Avenue, and the Vancouver/WIlliams corridor where you will find everything from art galleries, to groceries, to restaurants, bars, clothing and vintage boutiques. The neighbors are all connected through text and in person, which makes the street safe. Good people watching, lots of places to play and recreate near by, and a sense of being in the city without being downtown. Speaking of downtown, we are 2.5 miles from downtown; a 15 minute bike ride, a 45 minute walk, a 25 minute bus ride.
