Passez des vacances reposantes en admirant les magnifiques couchers de soleil sur le «lac Greenwood» ou en dînant en admirant la vue paisible sur la grande eau. La maison est parfaite si vous voulez vous asseoir et lire un livre dans la tanière calme ou regarder un film sur l'écran plat de 46 pouces, tandis que les autres se divertissent dans le bar ou la salle de bronzage. Vous pouvez également passer un bon moment à pêcher juste à côté de l'embarcadère privé à quelques pas de l'eau. Nous sommes connus pour la brème abondante, les craquelins en coquille, l'achigan et le poisson-chat. Pour ceux d'entre vous qui sont amoureux de la nature et qui essayent de rester en forme, faites une promenade tôt le matin dans le quartier tranquille, vous pourrez apercevoir des cerfs, des lapins, des renards et des dindes sauvages (et quelques voisins promener leurs animaux de compagnie!). Nous avons également des vues pour les ornithologues: pygargues à tête blanche, aigrettes, martins violets et hérons.

Si vous êtes plus aventureux et que vous voulez sortir, nous avons de nombreux restaurants locaux, des cabanes Tiki et des bars pittoresques qui proposent de la musique live ou du karaoké sur l'eau et sur terre. Nous avons même un restaurant barbecue primé (Lee's Barbeque) dans la région pour ce repas du sud cuisiné à la maison.

Le «Greenwood State Park» sur l'eau a également des aires de pique-nique et un musée intéressant pour
faits historiques sur la région.

Si vous apportez votre bateau posé ici sur la rampe privée, vous voudrez peut-être vous arrêter sur les bancs de sable locaux et vous rafraîchir ou jouer au volley-ball. {Goat Island} est également une aire de repos sur laquelle les plaisanciers peuvent se rendre jusqu'à la plage et se détendre. Faites un tour au barrage ou découvrez une crique tranquille pour la pêche. Le lac fait 20 milles de long avec 212 milles de rivage et 11 400 acres, il y a donc beaucoup à explorer.

Wonderful and Relaxing

This house was as described and perfect for our family. It had everything you could need. The lake was easily accessible and perfect for swimming, floating, fishing, or boating. If you want a quiet and relaxing trip this is the place to stay. The owners were easy to communicate with and always responded in a matter of minutes, not to mention super nice.

Awesome house!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this house. It was great having a dock and a boating ramp so accessible. We loved sitting on the deck and down at the water. The best I can say about the house is that it was extremely comfortable for our family.

We enjoyed having such a great family who took full advantage of the lake and nature. They were out several times every day on the water. When they were not in the water they were seen out jogging enjoying the nature of the neighborhood.

Peaceful stay with great views

This home is just as advertised. It has a great lakefront location with all the amenities you could hope for! You can sit outside and watch the sun set, enjoy swimming in the lake or even go kayaking. The house is fully stocked so no need to bring anything to cook with. All around a great place to spend with family and highly recommend it!

A great Vacation

This property is very clean, well stocked with the amenities you'll need in the kitchen, and a great location on the lake. With the convenience of the boat ramp and the very large dock, having our own boat there was very easy. The owners were very nice and very attentive to anything we might need. We'll be back

Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and relaxing on the dock.

We enjoyed our stay, make sure to take bikes and some games to play. It’s about a 25 minute drive to the town of Greenwood. There is a Dollar General that’s about 15 minutes.

Had a great time. Host were gracious, house were clean, very checkin and easy checkout.

Had a wonderful time. The host are so kind and even helped my son retrieve my flooded jetskit that I forgot to put the plug in (dumb mistake). Would definitely be back. Very easy to relax. Not so nice that your on pins and needles but comfortable and homey.

Great get away! Excellent hosts!

The home was very clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The beds AND pillows were top notch! So comfortable. Shower pressure was better then mine at home! Couldn’t of asked for a better spot on the lake, the view was amazing. Outside deck area was awesome with a short walk to the dock. The grill was clean and ready to use with all grilling utensils you need. Allen and Starla, thank you! You both were so welcoming and kind! We couldn’t of asked for better hosts! We can’t wait to get back to the lake and your home! Next time we are there, plan to stay for dinner!!

An awesome lake house with big water views

Starla and Allen are wonderful hosts. They live next door so if there’s anything you need, they take help you out pretty quickly. The home comfortably sleeps six. The beds are all comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. The living and dining areas face the lake. There’s seating for 10 plus one in a high chair -‘ And 6 at the island. There’s a table with chairs an a grill on oversized deck. A flight of stairs takes you down to the dock with more seating. In the kitchen, If you use it regularly at your house, they’ve got it at theirs. Mixers, coffee pots, Keurig, fry pans, silverware, serve ware, fishes, mugs etc. bring your coffee,tea and Keurig pods. There are a lot of basic spices you won’t need. There is nothing in the fridge so you’ll need all of that. There are a washer and dryer to get you through your trip. There’re are plenty of soaps, paper goods, trash can liners to get you through the week. If you know what youll need, stop at the BiLo on your way by. There are two bigger tvs on dish that served us well.

Perfect Lake Location-Had everything you could need

The property was in a perfect location for access to rentals at Skippers and other places on the lake, with great open water and great outdoor space with kayaks and a firepit! We had a great time and look forward to next time!

Peaceful and Beautiful place to stay!

First, communication is top notch with Starla and Allen. They are so nice and accommodating. The house is super cute and clean. I had my mother with me who has mobility issues but had no problem getting around inside with her walker. It is all one story living and there is a ramp that leads to the front door. The deck is a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and gorgeous sunset. In the mornings you can sit on the bench at the end of the dock and watch the sunrise. I see many future stays here...I have already booked my next one!
