The property features 4 bedrooms, each with A/C, and 3.5 bathrooms. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi (100 Mbps), Smart TV, and an open living room that connects to a balcony overlooking the private pool with stunning volcano views.

The villa also includes a laundry area (Washer and dryer), safety box, private parking and Cable TV. Ideal for couples, families and groups of friends looking for a spacious, comfortable and well‑located stay in La Fortuna.

The house is located just 4 blocks from downtown La Fortuna, there are 3 bedrooms:

The location was excellent. You could easily walk to shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. There were ants in the shower and kitchen but I figured that just was how things go in La Fortuna.

Very short visit to La Fortuna on the front end of a multi-generation family trip. The openess of the villa layout was unexpected and charming. Everyone slept comfortably and there was comfortable communal space. We had very good weather and the kids loved the pool. Amenities were very handy and the hosts helpful in orienting us.

Our family of 7 stayed for 5 days. The location was excellent with a grocery store a few steps away and so close to all the Fortuna shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and amenities fully stocked. The living space was ideal for our family...room for everyone to comfortable enjoy conversation and TV viewing. Great pool also.

Wow what a beautiful place to stay. There was an iguana outside peeping on me during my shower which was pretty cool. Walking distance from downtown and activities are just a few uber rides away. Take advantage of the concierge services offered by staff, they went above and beyond to help us.

Check in instructions were very easy! We LOVED the home. It was the perfect location and the perfect size for our group! We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor vibe and the view of Adrenal is spectacular- right from the back yard. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to La Fortuna. It was also very well stocked with items you would need when traveling with a group of 8.

It’s a nice property, some issues with the alarm going off randomly so we didn’t end up using it. The lay out of the property is different. Bedrooms are air conditioned and surround the pool/ living space which is “open air “…the property is located within walking distance to downtown. Some check-in issues because we don’t make the 8:00 curfew which can be frustrating that late but resolved after a phone call.. it’s our first time in this beautiful country … we were not sure what to expect.

Very beautiful and interesting house: the bedrooms are closed off with A/C but the rest of the house is all open-air. Convenient location right in the heart of La Fortuna town so easy to walk and get meals, ATM, groceries, etc. A few quirks:1. There is gorgeous wood on the countertops and coffee tables but you can't set a cold drink directly on any of it, and we were drinking plenty of cold drinks. 2. The alarm system was a pain in the butt. We only had one key card that needed to be in a special slot to power the house, but that same key was needed to lock the front door or open it from the outside, which made it frustrating when some people were leaving while others were staying behind but then wanted to go for a walk. There was no way to lock the door behind you when you left, which was tricky when one person woke up before anyone else to go for a walk or run. They literally had to wake someone up to come close the door (you couldn't get the door to close without someone inside doing it manually). When everyone was leaving you only had 45 seconds to clear out after you set the alarm but this was easier said than done when there is a huge SUV in the narrow space in front of the door that 8 people had to get in or get around to the other car; when you don't get that car out of the port in time the alarm starts blaring. It sounds silly, but only having one key, the dumb door, and the dumb alarm were actually quite frustrating and stressful.

The Villa Tucan experience was excellent from check-in to check-out. We arrived later than expected to a such a unique property with the living spaces/pool integrated with a spectacular view of the volcano the days that we were there. All in our party look forward to returning someday.

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.

On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lot of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get from them.

Adding The House of Tours we hire Alonso Esquivel which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place.
