Windward Village 123 is located just inside the beautiful gated community of Shipyard. This 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse has two master suites, making it ideal for couples. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the Guest bedroom has a Queen Bed. Each bedroom has a private full bath with a shower/tub combo. There is a half bath upstairs, with a spacious living and dining area. Enjoy the serene screened in porch for relaxing or eating outside, it is located off of the living room. This townhouse offers a great view of the pool and hot tub area which is located just steps away. Recent HVAC and water heater replacement. For larger groups - please inquire about Windward Village 124 (2BR/2.5 Bath) located right next door or any of our other listings in Shipyard. Your vacation awaits!

Last Minute Stay

The property management were a joy to work, vesy pleasant and brought an ironing board over to the property aftet normsl hours. The area was quiet and peaceful.

Enjoyable condo

Close to pool, but mostly enjoyed the beach. 1/2 mile walk to beach or you can drive. Quiet and peaceful. Deck under the trees is nice. Could use a little updating but overall fine.

Mediocre Lodging

Pros: Property manager was responsive! Unit is convenient to pool/spa. Appliances work. Cons: Bed linens are humble, some stains, no extra pillow cases. Kitchen items are very basic. Squeaky floors. Torn drapery lining in master bedroom and unfinished drapery edges in living room indicates not much care.

Quiet location, steps to pool

Great location in Shipyard, quiet, steps to pool, not heated. Unit had not been updated for a couple of decades or more, cabinets, pictures, appliances and carpet (dirty) desperately need to be freshed/replaced, as did tile and shower fixtures in bathrooms. Screened porch and deck were nice place to have morning coffee. Kitchen was lacking a pitcher to make tea, no pizza pan or baking sheets. We did buy our own pillows as those provided were flat. Just a few touches could greatly improve this property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such potential in a great location, but overall not worth it. Overall unwelcoming/uncomfortable furniture except the couch. Silverfish in the bedroom closets and upstairs bathroom. Very loud renovation in the next door unit with a huge dumpster out front. Dated and poorly appointed kitchen. Uncomfortable beds and pillows with poorly fitted linen. Thought about trying the extra pillows in the closet was concerned they were had silverfish on them. Satined bathroom towels. Ripped curtains on the hard to slide slider to the screened porch area. Location to the pool and hot tub great, a real sweet spot. I wanted to love it but overall it was an uncomfortable stay unfortunately. Some simple refreshing would make such a difference.

Beautiful location!

This was our first time on Hilton Head island and it won’t be our last! We chose this property because it was in Shipyard. We didn’t find it to be that clean. We brought it up to the property manager and they were responsive to our needs. Everything else about the property met our needs except the nonexistent pot holders and cookie sheet. We bought larger mugs for our coffee which we kept as a souvenir. We loved the screened porch. We spent every day out there. The miles of bike trails were exactly what drew us to Hilton Head in the first place. We will definitely be back.
