Belle villa au premier Ă©tage, vue paisible sur la faune, Ă  pied de la plage, piscine / bain Ă  remous

Les salles de bains rĂ©novĂ©es et le nouveau revĂȘtement de sol en font une belle villa unique en son genre !! Notre villa est spacieuse, lumineuse et aĂ©rĂ©e avec 1 280 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace de vie; 2BR et 2 bains. Nous sommes situĂ©s au Colonnade Club qui fait partie de la plantation de chantier naval. Profitez de votre cafĂ© du matin et connectez-vous avec la nature tout en Ă©tant assis sur notre terrasse couverte donnant sur le lagon et le parcours de golf. Regardez par-dessus le balcon et observez les hĂ©rons bleus, les poissons sauteurs et les alligators se prĂ©lassant au soleil. Au cours de notre premiĂšre semaine de sĂ©jour Ă  la villa, nous avons vu un hĂ©ron bleu attraper un serpent, le laver dans l'Ă©tang et le nourrir pour 2 bĂ©bĂ©s dans un nid Ă  proximitĂ©. Notre belle vue peut ĂȘtre vue tout en vous relaxant dans le salon, en prenant votre dĂ©jeuner dans la salle Ă  manger ou en prĂ©parant votre repas prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© dans la cuisine spacieuse et ouverte. Nous avons la meilleure vue de Colonnade!

Notre villa de premier niveau avec parking juste devant la porte d'entrée est trÚs pratique. Vous apprécierez la facilité et la rapidité avec lesquelles vous pouvez apporter vos bagages ou vos courses. La piscine et le jacuzzi du Colonnade Club sont juste au coin de la rue (à portée de vue depuis notre terrasse). Il est à quelques pas des belles plages de sable blanc de l'océan. Ou faites du vélo pour un petit voyage à la plage. Les villas Colonnade Club sont situées au bout de la route, vous ne subirez donc pas le bruit et les inconvénients des voitures qui passent.

Notre salon a une grande baie vitrée, un ventilateur de plafond et une porte coulissante en verre ouvrant sur le pont. Détendez-vous dans la suite principale avec lit king size, ventilateur de plafond, grand dressing et salle de bains privative. Découvrez la merveille de rester allongé dans son lit le soir ou le matin et d'écouter les sons des oiseaux qui gazouillent et les grenouilles coassent tout en observant la nature par la grande baie vitrée de la chambre principale. La deuxiÚme chambre a un lit superposé et une salle de bain adjacente entiÚrement rénovée. Notre cuisine spacieuse a de nouveaux comptoirs en corian et une barre de petit déjeuner confortable. Nous avons une buanderie séparée avec laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur située à l'arriÚre de la cuisine. Détendez-vous aprÚs une journée remplie de plaisir en écoutant votre CD préféré ou en regardant un film sur le cùble ou un DVD / magnétoscope sur l'un des 3 T. V.s. Restez connecté au monde extérieur (et avec vos petits-enfants) grùce au service Internet.

Our family loves this villa. It was a good size and had lots of extras ready for our use if needed. The pool was a nice size and never over crowded. The beach was about a 15-20 minute walk. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

Incredible Vacay stay

This was the third time I stayed at this wonderful Shipyard Plantation condo . Kitchen had everything we needed , beds were comfortable , loved our view of the peaceful lagoon each day to see all the birds , herons , and even a gator ! Great air conditioning which is extremely important to me , my spouse , and friends with an awesome dehumidifier! Highly recommend the location . Easy to bike , walk , or tiny drive to beautiful beach so close !

The stay worked for us but the king bed matress is long past its life and several toppers do not correct age lumps and sag. The furniture chairs and sofa need replacement. Premium rental price require good matresses and furniture in addition to good location. Renting again in Fall but not this unit.

More than adequate space but pine pollen was a killer for me. My fault, never considered. Hilton Head was harder to maneuver by car than anticipated- local zoning prohibits adequate signage. Property was lovely, quiet and as advertised. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Ship Yard Stay

Average condo but nice setting on a pond. Waited two weeks for a microwave to be replaced and I use one many times a day. Basically clean but dusty. I am a clean fanatic so most people would have been happy. I am challenged when it comes to 3 remotes for one tv but tvs worked, just small. Shipyard is great but will return to prior condo we have rented.

Beautiful, Relaxing Villa

We had the pleasure of staying at this villa during our visit to Hilton Head in May 2012. What an absolutely delightful , warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was light and cheery, beautifully decorated and as clean as if I had done the cleaning myself. The location was perfect! Quiet and peaceful with only a short walk (or bike ride) to the beach. We also spent time at the pool – swimming, sitting in the hot tub and just sitting around the tables playing games. It was great. After a long day of activities, it was so refreshing to come back to the villa to get cleaned up and relax for the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the back quarter-deck watching the alligators swim up and down the pond. The blue herons had their babies and it was amazing to watch them fly back-and-forth as they searched for food to feed their young. I would definitely utilize this villa again and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while in HHI.

July 2019 Stay

The location of this unit is fantastic. Very quiet area and it is about a 3-4 minute easy bike ride to beach (we timed it)! This unit has the potential to be fantastic with some TLC. We experienced some issues with the unit (see below) but response from manager Lynsey was quick & the maintenance woman Kim went out of her way to rectify the problems quickly. PROS: location, quiet area, very close to beach and around corner from the pool. Beds were comfortable, unit had beachy decor and keyless entry pad. Unit was fairly spacious and fairly clean but deck very small. The listing says recently renovated bathrooms but the renovations were done about 7yrs ago . Unit has beach parking pass and binder with wonderful suggestions for activities /restaurants. Property manager very responsive and maintenance woman Kim was wonderful. CONS: Front door needs to be replaced. The microwave (which were told was being replaced the day we arrived but never was), coffee maker, fridge all need to be replaced. The unit has a humidity issue which was evident from the humidifier that needed to be emptied 3x daily and the appliances all had rust on them. We discovered the problem was the weather stripping on bottom of front door was missing causing 1" gap that was allowing the outside air into the unit. Important to note that even the pest control company made a notation about the lack of weather stripping so clearly the issue was not a new one. The stove also needs to be upgraded. In the master bath the towel rack was falling off the wall, toilet paper dispenser is broken and the shower stall drain was clogged causing 1"-2" of water to accumulate in the stall when showering. The stall also has a little mold in the corner which I suspect is from the constant water accumulation. Having said that, we contacted Lynsey and she was quick to send maintenance to fix the issues. Kim fixed towel rack, the drain and added weather stripping to front door which immediately resulted in less humidity - so much so that the humidifier only need to be emptied every 2nd day. She also bought new broom and dust pan so we could sweep. While the unit did have most of the amenities needed in the kitchen for a comfortable stay, the quality of most of the items was cheap and mismatched. Not the end of the world but added the overall feeling that the unit needs some TLC . Would recommend this place if you are all about location. Would stay here again if the issues are addressed.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was beautifully decorated. It really made us feel like home. Very spacious. The beach was only a 10 minute work and the condo was close to everything you need. We loved the view of the lagoon from the patio and master bedroom. The kids enjoyed seeing the turtle family swiming and hanging out. We will definitely try and rent this unit again.

Great location and so peaceful

Our first trip to Hilton Head. The villa was accurately listed. Very roomy for the four of us. The two bedrooms and two baths were so nice. As for the back deck - the highlight of the trip. Watched a 4-4.5 foot alligator swim up in the lagoon and hang out for a while (two separate days). Also saw turtles, green anoles, herons, and a couple other birds. Beach was prob 15-20 minute walk. Not bad, just be prepared if you are taking lots of stuff. The pool was great. Villa was conveniently located to grocery store and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in Every Way

This property is exactly as listed. Well appointed, clean and accessible to golf, beach and swimming pool. If you are a walker or like bicycling, trails are at your door step. It is a short walk to the beach - try to catch the sunrise over the ocean! A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thanks to the owner for their timely responses to questions. Hope to visit again in 2023.

Our two months at Colonnade Villa

Very nice Villa well equipped but some things need replaced like pots and pans, skillets, and silverware! Also need more hand towels! Was happy to see a smooth top stove had replaced the coil one in the pictures. We had some problems while there but they were taken care of quickly! Lindsay was quick to respond! It is an easy walk to the beach from the Villa which I loved. Decorated very nicely! Thank you for sharing your Villa with us!! Hope to come back again!

Hilton Head R & R

We had a great stay in Hilton Head Island. The villa was in a nice area, but not as close to the beach as we expected. Biking to the beach would be fine, but it's a long walk in the heat of August. We chose to drive and park at a nearby beach. One of my most important amenities is comfortable beds. The beds rated from 1 - 10 we give them a 7. The pool was a short walk behind the villa and very enjoyable. Overall we had a nice stay and ate a lot of nice meals out at the many restaurants.

Ron and Mary are both originally from Wisconsin but have called Minnesota home for over 30 years. We came to Hilton Head for the first time in 2009. We did quite a bit of traveling before and since then but something drew us back to Hilton Head Island. We returned for a month in March/April 2011 and decided to purchase a Villa. Mary told Ron (after looking at numerous Villas) that she would know when she saw the right one. She was right - one look at 165 Colonnade and we're confident that this is the perfect villa.

Ron and Mary have been business partners for 16 years. Our company provides residential services to people with developmental disabilities (we own several group homes). We love to travel and are able to handle some of our business responsibilities long distance.

We are not new to purchasing homes but are new to vacation rentals. Ron's sister, Therese, will be helping to manage the Villa. We're excited to learn more about this process and to have family involved in our venture.

We are very active - love running, swimming, triathlons, water skiing, biking, hiking, tennis, softball... Ron is also an assistant High School Wrestling Coach. We pride ourselves in healthy living and are so happy that Hilton Head has a natural food store.

We have 2 adult children, a daughter-in-law and 1 grandson living in Minnesota.

We chose our villa at 165 Colonnade Club because of the location, accessibility, scenery, and bright, homey feeling. In all our travel we were doing so much work preparing for the vacation that it was really a burden. We are very particular about our trips and accommodations; clean and cheery, lots of activity options with limited driving, etc. We wanted a place that we could count on and know it would meet our expectations every time – that’s 165 Colonnade!

We love Hilton Head Island; it's so easy to get around with or without a car (bike trails cover the Island). There's a huge variety of entertainment and recreational activities. We particularly love the beautiful white sand beach and the ocean with calm waves yet great for boogie boarding. Our experience in the water is that the ocean floor has a gradual pace; no sudden drop offs. The waves are big enough to have fun but won't wash you away. We feel safe watching our young grandson romping and playing in the ocean.

We’ve found 3 tiki bars within walking distance from our Villa. It is a challenge to experience even a small percentage of the over 280 restaurants on the Island.

Hilton Head has convenient access (can drive or fly - your choice). Everything is so handy; bike trails, wonderful golf courses (we are not big golfers but our daughter-in-law went to college on a golf scholarship), amazing tennis courts and fantastic nature (alligators, dolphins, etc).

We fell in love with Shipyard Plantation because it is smaller and more personal. It has beautiful bike paths, not a lot of traffic and a really nice family beach. Shipyard Plantation is centrally located on Hilton Head. You can walk, run or bike to Coligny Plaza (2 miles west) with shops, restaurants, and fun activity on the beach. We also enjoy biking to Chaplin Community Park (4 miles east) where there are beautiful bike paths, playground and picnic areas, soccer fields, tennis courts & nearby beach access.

Colonnade Club is one of Shipyard Plantation’s closest communities to the beach. The scenic path to the beach makes it a nice easy walk, run or bike ride (no streets to cross). We also love the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at Colonnade. We’ve stayed at other locations in Shipyard and have been bothered by the view (fence, parking lot) and the noise (traffic). At Colonnade we find ourselves constantly drawn to the deck to experience the natural surroundings along with viewing an occasional golfer. Cars and disturbing noises do not exist (Colonnade is at the end of the road so only people who are staying here drive this way).

Shipyard Plantation is close, within walking or biking distance to shopping and restaurants (Coligny Plaza) and to the public park (Chaplin community Park) where we like to ride around or play tennis (great courts). There are over 6 grocery stores within 4 miles. When we go to Sea Pines we can bike if we are ambitious (about 6 miles) or take a short drive.

Shipyard is a smaller plantation and has very few tourist attractions. Some of the larger plantations have incorporated shops and tourist attractions within their gates. The security at the Shipyard (it is a gated community) gives us peace of mind and ensures a reprieve from the tourist lifestyle when we want one.

We also enjoy exploring outside of Hilton Head. We like the small artsy community of Bluffton (Farmer's Market on Thurs. with music and good food from various vendors). Savannah is a short 30-45 min. drive and a fun day trip. Beaufort, Charleston, Daufuskie Island, Palmetto Bluffs and many other unique areas surround Hilton Head offering new experiences and opportunities to explore. There's so much to see and do on and off the Island - every trip is a new adventure.
