What better way to enjoy what Lake Gaston has to offer than in a beautiful Log Cabin on the water.
From large family get togethers to small intimate gatherings, this property caters to all.

The main floor has an open view concept, so while you are making meals in the fully stocked kitchen, you can enjoy the lake views. When the food is ready, what better way to present your meals than on a 100 year old Amish barn wood table! This dining table has seen many tasty holiday feasts and is the perfect backdrop for those instagram food pics .If you want to have your meals outside , the deck has two dining tables and a gas grill, and ohh, the view ! The living room has enough space for everyone to cozy up. The new fluffy leather couches are great for a movie night or enjoying that new book by the glow from the fire.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor. A master with an ensuite bath and a large walk-in closet and two bedrooms with plenty of closet space and a full hall bathroom. Down stairs, you will find two more bedrooms, both queen size beds and a large bunk room that sleeps six but has plenty of space for a large air mattress if needed. If the rain stops the outdoor fun , no worries! Come inside and play a game of pool, shuffleboard, or challenge the kiddos to an intense video game battle. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Burger Time, and Frogger are just some of the classics you can play on the arcade machineđŸ•č. Better yet, make it adults vs. kids and show them how it's done! Now to our favorite part of the property , Lake Gaston, of course! When we saw this property, we instantly fell in love with the outdoor space. The fire pit where roasting marshmallows and telling stories is a must. The beautiful stairway that leads you to the dock where the best memories are made. The dock where swimming and jumping and lounging in the sun that could go on all day long. The beach area where little ones love to play in the sand and stomp on sand castles that dad has to rebuild over and over. The swinging in the hammocks that take everyday worries away , the kayaking and my boys
Absolutely favorite part, fishing !!!

Wonderful, big, beautiful, clean well-appointed house! Great location geographically and on the lake! It had everything we needed and then some! Plenty to do. The large counter for food prep and serving was amazing. The large dining room table was wonderful for everyone to be able to eat together. The host was accessible and attentive for any questions we had all along. Loved it; loved it! Great place!!!

This beautiful home was the perfect house for our family gathering including children and seniors! Plenty of space for meals, well equipped kitchen and my grandchildren loved the game room! With a late autumn stay, we did not fully utilize the outdoor waterfront amenities. Homeowner was very responsive, flexible and quick to answer any questions! I could not imagine a better time! Thanks for the memories!

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was clean, cozy and well-equipped with all the comforts of home. The neighborhood was peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. We had direct access to the lake...and lots of amenities to enjoy. This is a perfect spot for a lake vacation - we would definitely visit again!

Perfect for our family vacation. The grandkids loved jumping off the dock, lying in the hammock, fishing, and making s’mores. Our host generously supplied a lot of items that we normally have to bring. The game room provided fun for the adults and the kids. Loved kayaking.

Wonderful

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at this Lake House! My family could not stop talking about how much they loved it. It was so well equipped. Very child friendly. We spent every day napping out on the hammock on the deck, kayaking or paddle boarding down the water or building sand castles with the kids. You could fish, enjoy the view from the deck on the house or eat s'mores at a campfire. And that's just the stuff to do outside! The house is spacious and provides tons of fun. Had a hard time moving my nephew from the arcade machine. The kids enjoyed Cornhole and playing shuffle board. My parents enjoyed playing pool. Plenty of room to watch movies (there were 10 of us). There was a bar to use for drinks. The grill was easy to use. My sister got to use her telescope for stargazing. It really was such a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The owner was quick to respond if we had any questions. Highly recommend this log cabin for your future vacation. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful weekend with friends

Owner was very quick to respond to any questions about the house. We had a great time and would go back. The outside of the property could have been a little tidier but it didn't bother us at all. The inside of the house was very clean.

the house was perfect for us. Plenty of room and good location. Very relaxing. Great communication with owner. she was very responsive and helpful. Were already planning our next visit to this property in warmer weather to be able to enjoy the lake. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay

The property was as good (or even better) than the listing and photos make it seem. We had a very comfortable week-long stay for a group of 10 adults, 2 children, and 2 infants. There was more than enough to do that we were never bored without ever needing to leave the property. Would not hesitate to stay again! Host was responsive and kind, and this was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed at. Lots of nice extras meant something for everyone whether from the DVD library, games, or outdoor equipment

Pictures don’t even do this place justice! House is very well maintained and exactly what we needed. Plenty of space throughout the property. We spent a majority of time on the pier and beach area and it was amazing! Nights inside the game room were awesome as well, there was no dull moment! Can’t thank the host enough for trusting us with her place. Highly recommend for the perfect lake getaway!

Lakefront perfect

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The owner is very responsive. A ton to do in the house and on the lake. A lovely week. Would suggest being reasonably comfortable navigating a boat if plan to go on the main lake. The land bridge tunnel is tight.

Great for groups!

House was great for our family. Location was great, house had everything we needed. If you plan to rent a boat be aware that the part of the lake this house is on requires you to pass under an extremely narrow bridge (hands on ceiling and walls to push pontoon boat through) to access house from main lake. Boat house/dock was amazing- best we’ve used here at lake Gaston! Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would come back again! Overall great stay!

Loved the Lake House Vacay

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake! Separate and shared spaces for three families supported downtime and time together. The home offered a well-stocked kitchen, and furnishings and bedding were clean and comfortable. We spent most of our day enjoying the sand beach, lounging on the dock, and kayaking. Everyone caught a fish!

Excellent Cabin and Owners!

I recently had the pleasure of having a long weekend at this cabin. The house is gorgeous and it fits any/all needs on any type of gathering! The owner was always quick to respond to questions, and it was clear she really takes pride in ensuring guests have a pleasant experience! Wedding week

We stayed as a group for a nearby family wedding. It was the perfect place to relax in the evenings! The dock was beautiful with lots of places to sit. Everything was as described in the listing. The owner was extremely responsive to questions. A beautiful neighborhood on the lake. Very peaceful. Recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway at the lake

We enjoyed a perfect cabin getaway at the lake. The house was beautiful, just like the pictures. We brought our boat and enjoyed fishing off the dock. The kids thoroughly enjoyed making s’mores around the campfire space. The coffee station was a nice touch. We will definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Ladies Weekend

This was our friend group's third annual trip where we have chosen a new location each year, but after our experience at Natalia's log home we all decided that we have found our forever location. The common spaces were perfect for our group to gather, the open kitchen was just perfect, and the view - wow you just can't beat it. Thank you so much for providing us a wonderful space for such a relaxing weekend.

Perfect Labor Day

This property was exactly as listed and beautiful! There were 13 of us total (6 adults and 7 kids), and the layout was absolutely perfect for families to share. The kids enjoyed the bunk bed room and the downstairs games. This home was extremely CLEAN🙌🙌 I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and this house checked all the boxes. We all loved the outdoor space. We spent the majority of our time on the dock fishing, jumping in the lake, kayaking (which one was available for use as well as a paddle boat and plenty of life jackets ) and paddle boarding (which we brought). We spent our nights around the fire pit making s’mores while the kids played hide and seek. Communication with the owner was great and the check in and check out process was easy! We appreciated the 11am check out time vs some other houses had 10am check out times. We would rent this home again and would also recommend to others.

Relaxing Lake Getaway

We had a wonderful family vacation to Natalia’s home. She was responsive before, during, and after the stay, and her home was gorgeous. The photos don’t even do it justice. We enjoyed the lake and all of the house’s amenities and are looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful Home

Our family had a great week vacationing in this beautiful home. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking for the crew very easy. The dock and boathouse were perfect for floats and boats. The owner was very accommodating and readily available to answer any questions. We can't wait to come back next year!

Such an awesome getaway

Loved just about everything about this place. The lake and setup exceeded expectations. Could have spend longer and would use this house again. You will definitely get away at this house. Cell service is meh and internet isn’t stellar but that may be a perk for some.

Bday Family Vacation

Absolutely loved this house. The inside was very welcoming and clean. The outside fire pit and dock area was a hit. Property owner was very good at getting back to us when we had questions. Where the house is located is nice and quiet without a lot of boat traffic. Great for paddle boarding and canoeing. Riding out and seeing the lily pads are a must. The only thing we found that was a tad daunting was the small tunnel like area you have to go through by boat to get to and from the house if you rent any watercraft for your stay. That being said, you get the hang of it, and it would not keep me from renting this house again. Overall, it is an excellent vacation rental, and plan on returning in the future.

For the past 2 years we used a vacation rental agency to help us get started. During that time we learned a lot about the hospitality business. We kept what worked and changed what did not. Starting 2022 we decided to do this on our own. If you had stayed at Gaston Shores before and are returning , we Thank You for choosing our home and hope you enjoy the changes and upgrades we made so that your stay is even more comfortable. If you are a new family that is staying with us, we also Thank You for choosing us and hope to make your first stay with us enjoyable so that you will want to come back .
