Misled and unsafe
This property looks nothing like the pictures listed. The communication was great with the renter until arriving and realizing the property was unsafe. No smoke alarm. Outlet covers missing. Exposed wiring on the bathroom vanity lighting. Crumbling sheet rock. Pills were on the floor and dirty sheets stuffed behind the rocking chair. I tried contacting the renter to let them know it was unsafe for my special needs child, with no response. Rented another place that same day and checked out. The lock does not match up with the door jam so it was difficult to even leave the property. Spending 20 min to lock the door with a special needs child taking off and being impatient is not something I had anticipated. The fact that the renters do not even care to properly install a lock for the property is concerning. The renter is ignoring a request for a refund. I have had to reach out to VRBO regarding the issues I encountered. I was told there was a pool, and there was but it was not available. I do realize this is out of the renters hands, but clarification on this would have been nice, especially when asked. I would not recommend. While it is in a perfect location there are several other places to rent in the area that are much nicer than this especially for the price. I would also like to add that finding which building we were at was also difficult. There are no numbers on the back of the buildings. Finding the office to get a parking pass was difficult.
