Perfect location and view to the ocean. Did not use the pool because I like being on the beach. Overall it was a nice place.

Great location directly across from beach and Docs restaurant. Loved there were beach chairs and umbrella and wagon to haul everything to beach. Unit had everything we needed for a great relaxing week. Loved it! Would definitely stay again.

Misled and unsafe

This property looks nothing like the pictures listed. The communication was great with the renter until arriving and realizing the property was unsafe. No smoke alarm. Outlet covers missing. Exposed wiring on the bathroom vanity lighting. Crumbling sheet rock. Pills were on the floor and dirty sheets stuffed behind the rocking chair. I tried contacting the renter to let them know it was unsafe for my special needs child, with no response. Rented another place that same day and checked out. The lock does not match up with the door jam so it was difficult to even leave the property. Spending 20 min to lock the door with a special needs child taking off and being impatient is not something I had anticipated. The fact that the renters do not even care to properly install a lock for the property is concerning. The renter is ignoring a request for a refund. I have had to reach out to VRBO regarding the issues I encountered. I was told there was a pool, and there was but it was not available. I do realize this is out of the renters hands, but clarification on this would have been nice, especially when asked. I would not recommend. While it is in a perfect location there are several other places to rent in the area that are much nicer than this especially for the price. I would also like to add that finding which building we were at was also difficult. There are no numbers on the back of the buildings. Finding the office to get a parking pass was difficult.

Hi Tristan, thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. For future guests, we want to clarify that pool availability was clearly noted in the listing at the time of booking, and the pools are now open and fully operational. Directions for building access and instructions for obtaining a parking pass were included in the check-in guide sent before arrival, and we were not contacted with any questions. We’d also like to note that the smoke detector and outlet cover have since been fixed, and the pill mentioned was a single Advil tab found in the curtain. Most importantly, the guest did not even stay overnight. While we regret that the initial impression fell short, we take all concerns seriously and are committed to using this feedback to improve.
