Snorkeling and relaxation

We've stayed at the Landmark 2 other times when it was a hotel. Now that it's a vrbo, we had to make do without the daily cleanings, but it was not a problem. We mostly ate at the Money Bar across the street, and spent the days snorkeling the 2 reefs out front. We added night snorkeling this time, and my wife and 2 daughters LOVED it. The pool was calm and relaxing in the afternoons, when the sun started to duck behind the building. Absolutely one of the best places on the island.

Excellent Stay

We agree with all the great comments from the previous review. The owners & the Landmark staff were very helpful in prepping our trip. The condo was clean and spacious. The added recliner was very comfortable. Loved having breakfast on the balcony. We snorkeled every day in front of the Landmark, it was like being in a giant aquarium with so many colorful fish & coral. It was fun to see the night snorkelers in front of the Landmark with their underwater lights. We had a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful Escape, even with the weather

This condo is fabulous! 1st and foremost is the view. 5th floor huge balcony looking squarely at the ocean. The most amazing sunsets over the horizon, and afterwards starry night sky and faint twinkles from Playa Del Carmen across the way. Well, that’s if the weather were clear. We arrived 12/23/22, barely escaping the “polar vortex” in the NE, and I guess brought the storm with us. The first couple days there were heavy rains and wind. But the view was no less spectacular. The apartment is super well-appointed. Luxuriously spacious 2 bedrooms, each with in-suite full bath and huge closets. Appliances look brand new and the kitchen tools & utensils are complete and high-end. Wifi is good and the 4K TVs already have streaming platforms setup. Front desk, and really all the staff are super friendly and helpful. “Check in” was basically “Welcome, we’ve been expecting you. Here’s your key and let me show you around.” Large common pool area was never crowded. Literally across the street is a restaurant/bar/beach club that even has a Starbucks in it. There is live music at night but don’t worry, once you close the balcony doors you won’t hear a thing. In the morning we saw multiple snorkeling tours dropping groups in the reefs right in front of us. That tells you how good the location is. Again, don’t worry coz they are all gone by 10:30/11am. My only comment would be the fact that it is a bit out of town. It would be much easier if you rent a car to get around, even though the staff can easily get you a cab in minutes. (For reference, cab rides from the Playa Del Carmen ferry terminal is $10.) Actually, I do highly recommend renting a car, even just for a couple days, to explore the WHOLE island. It is a magical place and so much more than the couple hot spots downtown.

On our first trip to Cozumel, we headed over to snorkel in front of Money Bar. Upon arrival there, we parked and we looked up at the Landmark Resort. I said someday, could you imagine. Well 7 years later and lots of trips later. We were still in love with this resort. Mind you we had never stayed there. We are now owners of a spectacular condo with the most amazing views and unreal sunsets. We have since fully experienced the staff and resort. Sandy, Adrianna and the rest of the staff are amazing. The resort itself still brings feelings like the first time we saw it. We hope you enjoy our unit, Cozumel and all it has to offer.

Beachfront, Spectacular Views and Sunsets, Tennis, amazing Snorkeling, Pool and Hot tub, Quite, The famous Money Bar.
The Condo has hand carved furniture from Bedrooms to Dining table and Bar. Showers are amazing, jetted tub, large make up area. Gourmet kitchen with all the small wares and dishes you need.
Washer/dryer, 3 tvs, ironing board, 2 portable chaise lounges and outdoor couch and chairs for enjoying those incredible views and sunsets.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The snorkeling on the reef right out front is literally the same reef that a lot of the tour boats bring snorkelers to. The Landmark Resort has a beautiful pool, Jacuzzi, BBQ area, Tennis Court, Cabanas, Pool side loungers and did I mention an amazing beach front bar that locals and tourists alike come to listen to music, dance and feast on delicious local favorites. It even has a small Starbucks stand inside if you must :) The beauty is you can go have fun and not worry about getting home all in a family style atmosphere.
