Beautiful 5 bedroom home just steps from the beach

We love this home! We've had so many great family memories here and we are excited to be able to share it with others! It has plenty of space inside with a large deck and a beautiful back yard. It's just 11 houses away from the best family beach in all of Santa Cruz and there is a warm outdoor shower for when you return home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, comfortable home! Our group of 8 chose Santa Cruz for our annual friendship reunion destination this year, and we all decided this may be the best vacation home we have stayed in. The location and quiet neighborhood are great! It’s an easy walk to the beach, and a short drive to all attractions we wanted to visit in the area. Our host Josh was very responsive to my questions prior to our arrival and his property manager was available and helpful as well during our stay. We had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely like to return to this property!

We had a wonderful time at Josh's house in Santa Cruz! There was plenty of space and amenities for our group of friends to comfortably stay for a couple of nights! Josh's communication was on point and the house was exactly as described (and thank you for the tasty welcome pastries!)The only inconvenience was that the first day it was somewhat warm since there didn't seem to be central A/C, but it cooled down by the evening after opening some windows!Overall, highly recommended for a larger group!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to beach, market & harbor is nearby with coffee place & restaurants. The house had great gathering spaces for meals; big dining room table, & big table out on the back deck. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans & appliances. We barbecued every night with room for 10 around the table . Owner was responsive & very helpful.

It was a wonderful stay. Located a block from the beach, the family enjoyed the short walk to fun in the sun. The facility was very clean and spacious. Plenty of space to prepare meals, gather, and if necessary find your own quiet time. Josh, the owner, was very timely responding to my questions. My family members took a voice vote, and they want to return.

Large family home

Our family of 13 stayed in this beautifully decorated home. There was plenty of room for everyone, along with different rooms to play games or visit. It was a short walk to the beach. We loved it!

Great house for a few families

We had a reunion of 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids from 7-11) and this house worked out great for us. We loved having the large deck area for meals and the two separate living rooms. The beach was just a block away and we walked down to watch the sunset. We’d definitely stay again.

A charming home with great location

Beautiful house

Beautiful yard, beautiful furnishings. Everything was clearly marked and easy to use. They had everything we needed. Basement inlaw suite was wanted by all and we had to negotiate. The fridge was huge but like the microwave, was too high for much of my family, (4 of us are under 5'2"). They even had a few board games and puzzles. Was a little disappointed the puzzle we tried was missing pieces, but it is understandable.

Fabulous for a Family Reunion

This house worked perfectly for our little family reunion (our family plus my sibs and their families) with two cousins and their dogs staying at a friends' place nearby. The kitchen was very well stocked and we took turns cooking dinners and hung out around the island a LOT. Beach walks just a few blocks away, grocery stores a different story but still manageable. Welcome cookies very much appreciated!

Great Stay at Clean, Comfortable Home Near Twin Lakes Beach

Our family, ranging in age from 9 to 75, stayed at Josh‘s lovely home for three nights in December to celebrate my 75th birthday. The house was comfortable, well-equipped and nicely furnished. The home’s unique, well-designed layout provided both plenty of space to be together when that’s what we wanted and room to spread out for separate conversations or activities at other times. (For example, some watched a movie in the living room while others played a board game in the family room.) There is also good separation between the bedrooms, with one on the main level, one on the slightly lower level and the others on the upper level. There is a bathroom on each level, too. Cooking was a pleasure in the well-appointed kitchen.The location--within walking distance to Twin Lakes Beach and several places to eat--was quiet. It was easy to drive to other restaurants and attractions, such as those at the harbor, downtown and in Capitola, in just a few minutes. We appreciated the very accommodating host and local property manager.Because we stayed during a somewhat rainy time, we didn’t get to use the large back yard much, but could see it would be a lovely place to spend time in the warmer months. We greatly enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room, though!Everything was as described and pictured, with the added bonus of being tastefully decorated for the holidays during our stay. I definitely recommend this house to others and look forward to staying there again.

Fantastic house near beach

One of the tidiest and most pleasant houses we've ever rented. The only downside is that 3 of the rooms on the second floor share one tiny bathroom. Other than that it was just wonderful. Beautiful outdoor spaces, everything functional, very well stocked and tastefully decorated. The welcome cookies were delicious

Great Place We All Loved it!

Perfect house for all 7 of us, my wife and I, our 2 grown kids, daughter in-law and 2 grand kids. We had space to relax, hide out or play some games. The beach is a super short walk, close enough to hear the surf at night. We did all our meals in the kitchen, it has all the right stuff to prep and serve meals.

Fabulous stay in Santa Cruz!

This home is amazing. A perfect spot for our family gathering. Main bedroom on the ground floor, for those who don’t do well with stairs. 3 bedrooms upstairs with tons of closet space. Separate apartment downstairs with full bath & kitchen. There’s a loft where our teenagers hung out. This home is outfitted with everything you need to cook meals & enjoy visiting with friends/family. A quick stroll will get you to the beach. Owner was very communicative & accommodating. Great place to stay.

Magical and Memorable Experience

Thank you again Josh for your hospitality. We spent 5 memorable days at your Santa Cruz home. The amenities were excellent including towels, beds, and beach equipment. Every morning and evening walks to the beach we'll miss the most. BBQ and kitchen are top notch as we had all our meals there. Definitely a 10-star experience and we hope to return some day. Cordial neighbors too.

Perfect Santa Cruz location

House was very clean, on a quiet neighborhood street, and our entire family (age range from 4 to 74) all enjoyed the home & slept well in the very comfortable beds. A great family-friendly beach is a short walk away. Will definitely want reserve this spot again for a future family Santa Cruz getaway!
