Cet appartement de villégiature, comprenant une chambre et une salle de bains, est situé au deuxième étage du bâtiment H, un emplacement idéal. Il dispose d’une véranda couverte et confortable donnant sur la piscine et l’espace cabane, l’endroit parfait pour vous détendre confortablement dans des fauteuils tout en admirant les splendors tropicales. L'appartement H204 est propre et lumineux, baigné de lumière naturelle. Il offre à ses hôtes tout ce dont ils ont besoin pour une escapade de rêve, avec tout le confort d'un chez-soi ! Il comprend notamment une cuisine entièrement équipée, prête à accueillir vos repas inspirés de l'île, un salon confortable avec un coin multimédia et une table à manger pour quatre personnes.

L'immeuble dispose d'un ascenseur et d'un vaste parking. En plus d'être situé à quelques pas du centre-ville de Kapaa, qui regorge de restaurants, de boutiques et de services bancaires, vous trouverez une piste cyclable polyvalente s'étendant sur plus de 7 miles le long du littoral.

Le complexe Pono Kai propose un large éventail d’équipements sur place, tels qu’une piscine, bain à remous, une laverie commune payante, des courts de tennis, des putting greens, un terrain de volley-ball, un terrain de croquet, une table de ping-pong, un espace dédié aux échecs, et bien plus encore.

Very nice unit with a view of the pool from the lanai. This property was very clean with all of the things that you would need to enjoy your stay in Kauai. The decor of the unit was exceptional and the entire unit looked like it had been updated or renovated. Included in one of the closets were beach chairs, pool noodles, beach towels and all the things you would need for exploring the many beautiful beaches on Kauai.

We love staying at Pono Kai

We love staying at Pono Kai! It’s a great location. The unit was clean. Only downside is this unit does not have A/C. I missed that when we booked. Makes it very difficult to sleep at night. Other wise it was great!

Great Location

This property is very clean, updated and comfortable! Great ameneties and a great location. My only complaint is that it needs AC in the bedroom. Leaving the windows open gives zero privacy from people walking by. Leaving the lanai doors open is a safety issue and still doesnt create enough breeze for the bedroom. Aside from this, we really enjoed our stay here.

Fall trip to beautiful Kauai!

The view from the patio was beautiful, we loved sitting outside enjoying the view and listening to the birds, even the roasters.The grounds are very well keep. The solitude was very much enjoyed. Nice pool area. The beach was just a short walk from the condo. Great walking, biking trail along the beach. The condo was comfortable and very clean. The kitchen met our needs, all appliances were in good working order. The staff we encountered at the resort were all very helpful and kind.We enjoyed having restaurants within walking distance. This condo is in a good central location for exploring .

It could have been better

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to Kauai 5 times before, and also stayed at Pono Kai before, so we have some experience of the resort and of Kapa'a itself. Pono Kai is well situated, and is a resort with a lot for visitors to do - as such we had a good time staying there.However, although Pono Kai is an old development, and does need some tlc, this property has been recently renovated and some new furniture bought, so we were looking forward to the stay. Unfortunately the quality of the furniture was not good enough for the high rental we paid, and the bed/mattress/pillows were the worst we have had in any condo. Other areas that needed improvement were: a) Provision of glasses - there were only pint and wine glasses provided - nothing in between. b) Beach chairs were rusty and broken - we bought new ones from Home Depot!c) There was no outdoor furniture for eating outside on the balcony.The good news is that none of this spoiled our vacation -we have learned to adapt to these kind od problems, and the staff at Hawaii Life, and their contractors were very helpful in attending to the problems that came up.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No air conditioning, and it gets VERY hot and humid in Kauai!! We needed to keep the bedroom windows open and the sliding door to the balcony open at all times, to get a cross breeze. But the bedroom curtains fully block the wind, so they must remain open...even though people walking by will see you in bed. YIKES! And the balcony door looks onto the pool area, with many screaming children playing there, and pre-dawn Roosters crowing and waking you up before dawn.No CD player, no DVD, no dishwasher, no room phone, no sofa bed, no ice maker, no TV in bedroom, etc. Leaking kitchen sink (they repaired it while we were there, but he just WALKED IN without knocking first!)Window screen in living room was an inch too short, so bugs came in, and later it just fell out of the window, down to the mud below (I went down there, retrieved it and re-installed it myself).It was our fault for not realizing there was no Air Conditioning. We've been to Pono Kai many many times before, as part of our friend's time-share. And all of their units have air conditioning, and include everything I mentioned that our unit did not have. But we've never rented a privately owned room there before.The lady that ran it was nice, and reasonably helpful.Oh well, you live and learn (the hard way).

Lovely stay at Pono kai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay in unit H204! Upon arrival everything was in place and very clean. The unit is well laid out with all the comforts of home. We chose this unit because of the full kitchen as we like to cook breakfast and make lunches for our day's outing. We also like to cook a couple dinners in to keep the cost down. Every thing you need is there. The location was very central to both North and South coasts. Plus walking to stores, shave ice, bike rentals ABC store etc. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
